Sun Siyam Vilu Reef

Ein sehr schönes kleines Resort mit gemütlichen Beach Villen sehr gepflegt und mit freundlichen motivierten Mitarbeiten. Wir hatten 7 Nächte gebucht, sind nach 3 Nächten abgereist! In der 1 Villa Nr.144 in der wir waren befindet sich nebenan eine Baustelle ( neue Wasservillen)! Um 7:00 fing der Lärm an, Baufahrzeug. Ich hatte das in einer Rezessionen vom Januar gelesen, darauf informierte ich mich kurz vor der Anreise, man schrieb mir das die Bauarbeiten länger als geplant dauerten und diese aber weitgehend abgeschlossen sind und wir keinen Lärm haben. Das war leider nicht so! Wir sind an dem selben Tag dann ich die Beach Villa Nr.148 gezogen, diese befindet sich direkt neben der Poolterrasse. Der nächste Morgen war dann um 5:00 Uhr vorbei, weil zwei Mitarbeiter bis um 6:00 die Poolterrasse vorbereitet haben, ich hatte nachgeschaut was da los war! Man sollte auch bedenken, dass um 6:15 Uhr manchmal das erste Wasserflugzeug landet, die sind laut und wenn man richtig Pech hat, da klopft bereits um 9:00 Uhr das Hauskeeping. Ich wollte eine Woche Ruhe und Erholung und habe mir dieser Reise als Geburtstagsgeschenk gegönnt. Zu den Restaurants kann ich nicht viel sagen wir waren nur im Aqua Restaurant, für die anderen Restaurant braucht man eine Reservierung dazu kam es nicht mehr. Das Buffet ( Aqua) war sehr übersichtlich und nicht von hoher Qualität, da erwarte ich von einem 5* Resort etwas anderes. Uns wurden mehrfach eine Wasservilla angeboten, finde ich persönlich hässlich und die Wege sind länger, daher hatte wir uns für eine kleine Insel entschieden auf der alles nah beieinander liegt. Der Strand ist leider nicht schön, aufgrund der Bauarbeiten liegt dort sehr viel Korallenschrott, auch im Wasser, so dass man ohne Badeschuhe nicht ins Meer kann, wegen Verletzungsgefahr durch scharfe Korallen und Muschelresten. Das gesamte Team ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, etwas übermotiviert, um die Mängel auszugleichen.

My 7th Maldives trip (after Coco Palm, Mövenpick, Furaveri, Constance Halaveli and Angsana Velavaru), and sadly the weakest. The positives were real: we were grateful for the upgrade to a Signature Water Villa with a slide — it had proper fencing, ideal for our daughter (under 2), which the standard villas couldn't offer. The room was superb: beautifully decorated, spotless and feeling brand new (9/10). The house reef is a highlight too — the wall is an easy swim out, the current manageable, and we saw Eagle Rays and a turtle. But it's badly let down. We declared my daughters (age 1) severe egg allergy repeatedly; staff categorically said dishes were egg-free, allergen signposting was poor, and she had a serious reaction. The on-site doctor and team handled it superbly (no charge), and Vijay and Rita were outstanding thereafter. The food, though, was the worst I've had in the Maldives for a supposed 5-star — my birthday "medium-rare" steak at Well Done arrived like a dried stone. Add a 10-minute walk to meals in the heat with no guest buggies, and a worn-out kids' club. Beautiful villa and caring staff, but hard to recommend.

My first stay in the Maldives was truly beautiful. The resort was friendly and clean. I booked directly through them for an all-inclusive stay, and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the villa, the service, the food, the atmosphere—everything was wonderful. I want to thank all the outstanding staff I dealt with directly, who made my stay even better. ، water sport activity team all they Collaborators and photographer lucky , I especially want to mention the , Sherihan, and the rest. I will attach their photos; they were always smiling and willing to help in every way.

The staff here are incredibly caring and attentive. In particular, Vijay, who serves the guests at the Aqua Restaurant, has anticipated our every need. He is extremely attentive, wonderfully friendly, and always there for us. We truly appreciate his warm and thoughtful service.

Our stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef was an incredible experience. We stayed in the brand-new Ocean Signature Villa with Pool & Slide, and it was absolutely stunning. The villa perfectly combines modern luxury with the breathtaking beauty of Vilu Reef’s crystal-clear waters and tropical nature. We highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting the Maldives. One of the highlights of Vilu Reef is its incredible underwater world. The marine life is vibrant and full of surprises. During our short stay, we were lucky enough to see sharks, manta rays, and even a moray eel. If you love snorkeling, this is a place where you can experience an amazing variety of sea life all in one trip. We were also excited to see that the resort is expanding with a brand-new beach, pool, bar, spa, and restaurants alongside the new villas. It’s clear that Vilu Reef is becoming even more spectacular, and we can’t wait to see it completed. A heartfelt thank you once again to our Ambassador at Sun Siyam Iru Veli, Naazish, for arranging our transfer so smoothly and coordinating everything perfectly between both resorts. We would also like to sincerely thank our Ambassador at Vilu Reef, Baasith. Even though our visit was arranged at the last minute, he handled all of our reservations and requests with great care and professionalism, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. My wife and I had an unforgettable holiday. Everyone at both resorts was incredibly kind, professional, and always focused on making our stay perfect. We truly hope to return next year and experience this paradise again. Thank you, Sun Siyam!

Il Sun Siyam Vilu Reef è un posto da sogno: isola meravigliosa, mare incredibile, villa bellissima, cibo ottimo e uno staff sempre sorridente, gentile e disponibilissimo. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati in ogni momento. Un ringraziamento speciale a Sahib, che si è preso cura della nostra camera in modo impeccabile, con grande discrezione e attenzione, facendoci trovare ogni giorno splendide decorazioni realizzate a mano con foglie e materiali naturali. È davvero bravissimo e anche un piccolo artista: le sue sorprese hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale. Grazie anche a Sahafaan, sempre disponibile tramite WhatsApp per qualsiasi necessità: rapido, gentilissimo ed efficientissimo, ha risolto ogni richiesta in pochissimo tempo e ha contribuito a rendere la nostra luna di miele perfetta. Un’esperienza meravigliosa, in un luogo bellissimo e con persone eccezionali. Lo consigliamo assolutamente e speriamo di poter tornare presto!
