Six Senses Laamu is incredible in every way you can imagine. It's an effortless, gorgeous, nature-immersed, service-focused experience you will never forget. The staff forge a happy, healthy, thriving community on the island and bring the levity of living well and thoughtfully to every interaction with the guests. Six Senses Laamu's firm commitments to sustainability and our oceans shows through in every respect. This isn't a "tiny placard with a few platitudes about sustainability" kind of resort. From the soaps, sunscreens, and shampoos to the foods, to the linens and so much more, they've invested heavily in ensuring what each guest consumes is earth-friendly in every way. And the diving? It's world-class. Even the mantas know the very best place to be is Six Senses Laamu.

When it comes to describing my recent stay at the Six Senses Laamu resort in the Maldives, it's hard not to sound overly enthusiastic. But to be honest, this place genuinely blew me away with its exceptional service, amenities, and overall experience. Right from the start, the staff were attentive and caring. I felt welcomed and well-taken care of throughout my stay, which is a testament to their commitment to guest satisfaction. The facilities at the resort were top-notch. The 2-bedroom villa I stayed in was not just comfortable, but it had an amazing view. Waking up every morning to the sight of the beautiful Indian Ocean was truly something else. Not to mention, the spa was great. Whether you're into wellness or just need a good relaxing session, you won't be disappointed. Now, let's talk about the food. The Leaf restaurant was a highlight. The chef clearly knows what he's doing because every meal was delightful. It was a blend of traditional Maldivian flavors with a modern touch, making each dining experience unique and exciting. What really surprised me though, was their Ice Cream Studio. They had more than 48 flavors! I never thought I would find such a wide variety of ice cream at a resort. It was a fun and unexpected touch that definitely added to the overall charm of the place. Lastly, one of the unique features of the resort was its 'barefoot policy'. At first, it might seem odd, but walking around barefoot made the experience feel more natural and relaxing. It really drove home the point that this place is all about comfort and being in tune with nature. In conclusion, I had a fantastic time at Six Senses Laamu. Everything, from the villa and view, to the food and facilities, was superb. I especially loved the wide variety of ice cream and the unique barefoot policy. It felt like a little slice of paradise and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Hello / Merhaban, I want to express my utmost heart felt appreciation towards GEM - Pearl, beautiful and well spoken Asian lady who coordinated our vacation plans almost to a perfect extent. Hisham, Mina and Mohit from HB dept totally spoiled us with great recommendations of degustations and cocktail creations, be it Mediterranean, Maldivian or Oriental AND lots of great chats were enjoyed under the sunset 🌇 Knowledgeable marine biologist Mikaela's dolphin observing cruise and charismatic Pablo's guided tour made me certain that I can trust IHG with any of my future destinations and I can rest assured that I'll be looked after without even saying a single word. Since IHG is almost like a mate who knows me too well :) Six Sense Bhutan Thimphu 🇧🇹 will be my next go to, so there you go. Stop getting overwhelemd & tossing between which islands, Six Sense is the way to go, you have my words. Faultless. A beacon of beauty and exquisite warm service that proves barefoot luxury and environmental/marine sustainability can - and indeed must - absolutely go hand in hand. Their Junior Marine Biologist programme is unique and the perfect way to inspire visiting kids who love nature. The whole experience surely raises the bar for other Maldivian resorts!
