Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach

This was our second stay at Novotel Kamala Phuket, and once again we had a wonderful experience. The villa offered a spectacular direct sea view. The room was spacious and clean, and although the hotel has been around for quite some time, it is very well maintained. The front desk staff were always smiling, friendly, and even remembered our room despite the large number of guests checking in. The bar area is spacious with beautiful views, and the staff there were warm and welcoming. The restaurant is beautifully designed, and everyone—from the manager (his name is Top) to the service staff—was attentive and proactive in taking care of guests. Breakfast was quite varied, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. Although summer is the rainy season in Phuket, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

The location was perfect. The service from the staff was excellent. Downside was the rooms were a little outdated. We had an ant problem. They were the tinest ants. We had a constant problem with the air conditioning. It sat at 31 degrees for the first 3 days. We kept complaining about it and they'd try to fix it but it kept going back to 31 degrees. Mind you the temperature outside was like 36 degrees and so humid. We opened our balcony door to let the breeze in but we received a call to our room asking us to shut the door?? We weren't too happy about that, who does that?? Anyway after 5 days, they finally sorted out the air con and it was ice cold. We were staying for 7 days, so had 2 days of cool temps. Otherwise everything else outside the room was great like food, drinks, views, staff

We stayed here for 6 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located right by the sea, which is beautiful. However, for anyone visiting at the end of May, swimming may not be very likely, as the sea was quite rough and the waves were strong during our stay. The pool was nice, and more than sufficient as an alternative to the beach. We were generally satisfied with the service, and the open-buffet breakfast was good and had enough variety for us. The main reason I’m not giving a higher rating is the room. We stayed in an “Ocean View” room, but in reality we could only see a small corner of the sea from the room :) That was disappointing and did not fully match our expectations of an ocean-view category. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and had a comfortable experience overall.

The hotel is a bit older, but it's still clean and very well maintained. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. 🏖️🌊The pool is an absolute 10/10 the view is stunning, and it's definitely the highlight of the hotel! What made our stay even more memorable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I really appreciated their excellent service. ⚠️One thing to be aware of is the hotel's location on Google Maps. On our first day, the directions were correct, but the next day Google Maps took us to the wrong location in the middle of nowhere near Nai Yang Beach. It was about a 40 min drive from there to the actual hotel. If you're driving, make sure the destination is the hotel in Kamala Beach, near Cafe del Mar, before you start your trip. We mentioned this to the staff and they told us they're already working on fixing the issue. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. La vue depuis la chambre est tout simplement magnifique, offrant un panorama exceptionnel dont on ne se lasse jamais. Le personnel est adorable et aux petits soins! L’atmosphère de l’établissement est propice à la détente et permet de profiter pleinement de la beauté des lieux. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter et où nous reviendrions avec plaisir!

We stayed here as a family and everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and had a wonderful stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families and would love to come back again.
