We had 3nights at Grand Mercure Atrium Bangkok. We stayed mainly the price factor. Room We had looked down to pool area and to the back of the construction of a new hospital being built. We were offered if we wanted to move to other side of hotel but decided not to as couldn't really hear the noise. Was a bit noisy trying to relax down at the pool though but remembering not hotels fault. Restaurant buffet breakfast a bit of a let down as mainly aimed towards the Indian market. Staff around the hotel were all very nice and helpful. Big thank you to reception Mr Tuan you were very helpful during our stay. Also to the barmen at pool bar Mr Kan & Mr Bear did a great job looking after us while at the pool area.. Thank you. The Executive Lounge staff were great and what was on offer was nice. We had an absolutely fantastic time at Benihana The Japanese Steakhouse in the Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium The teppanyaki experience was flawless, and we have to give a special and massive shout-out to our chef, Jazzy! Not only are his culinary skills top-notch—cooking everything to absolute perfection—but he is also incredibly humorous and entertaining. His engaging teppanyaki performance kept our entire family, especially our son Sherwin, extremely happy and excited throughout the whole meal! If you are looking for delicious Japanese food with an amazing, interactive atmosphere that is perfect for families, this is the place to be. Highly recommend requesting Chef Jazzy; he will definitely make your dining experience memorable and full of laughter!

As a first-time guest at the Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium, I had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return. One of the highlights was the complimentary room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were very flexible and accommodating throughout my stay, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, with plenty of space to relax after a day exploring Bangkok. The hotel facilities were also excellent, especially the swimming pool, which was clean, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of both international and local dishes, with fresh fruit, pastries, hot meals, and made-to-order options. Everything was well presented and delicious, making it a wonderful way to start each day. A special thank you to Nut, who looked after us during breakfast. Nut was always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, providing outstanding service with a smile every morning. Staff members like Nut truly make guests feel valued. Overall, I had a great first experience at the Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium. The excellent service, comfortable facilities, generous upgrade, and wonderful breakfast made for a memorable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for the last three days. It was a great experience throughout my visit. The rooms were comfortable, the room service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The entire staff was very polite, professional, and welcoming, reflecting a warm culture of hospitality. I also noticed that many Indian guests choose to stay at this hotel, which speaks to its popularity and excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. (Not so) grand mercure This hotel is absolutely atrocious! Where do I even begin. (1) the clientele takes away from the “5 star” status. They were rude, entitled, and didn’t have a sense of direction or class, specially those who eat lots of tikki masala. 2) how long would you think a check in takes? 5 minutes? Think again. It actually took 2.5 hours! all of which led to them getting the name wrong and causing problems with things associated to room assignment like the WiFi. 3) the utilities were non functional at best. The AC is temperamental and the WiFi keeps on disconnecting us spontaneously and for people who need constant WiFi, this was unacceptable especially for a hotel of this supposed standard. Not to mention the decoration looks like a bus stop in New Delhi. They didn’t clean the air conditioning and didn’t give toilet paper when asking, so we got sick and only gave us little amount of their thin sandpaper toilet paper. The technology is broken: look at the photo the flusher fell off from the wall. And nobody speaks the required amount of English, especially at the bar when we couldn’t understand a thing they were saying. Also when we ate at the hotel, the waitresses were exposing their belly. If I wanted to see that I’d go to hooters not a 5* hotel. Overall, disappointed and this is a 2* hotel at best

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights, and it exceeded my expectations. The standout feature is definitely its location. It is situated right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. I could easily walk to several major tourist attractions, popular restaurants, park, within just 5 to 10 minutes. There is also a public transit station just a short walk away, which made traveling to other parts of the city completely hassle-free. As for the room, it was spotlessly clean and remarkably fresh. It was clear that the housekeeping staff pays great attention to detail, as every corner was dust-free, and the bathroom was pristine. The bed was extremely comfortable with high-quality, crisp linens that ensured a great night's sleep after a long day of walking around. Despite being so close to all the hustle and bustle, the room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The overall experience was wonderful, and the combination of an unbeatable location and top-tier cleanliness made it worth every penny. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip and highly recommend it to anyone.
