Es war unser zweites Mal auf Koh Samui und dieses Mal entschieden wir uns für das Bandara, aufgrund der Nähe zu dem berühmten Fisherman's Village. Unser Aufenthalt war wunderschön. Unsere Private Garden Pool Villa war ein Traum und das dazugehörige Premium Frühstück extrem lecker. Unsere Ausflüge konnten wir ganz entspannt über die Concierge's Steffen & Kitti buchen. Die Private Inselrundfahrt, die sogar individuell auf uns angepasst wurde, war ein absolutes Highlight. Generell sind die Touren über das Hotel sogar günstiger gewesen als außen an den Straẞenbüros, was uns überrascht hatte. Wie werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen und können dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Title: An honest analysis for Villa guests: Great location, but service needs improvement We recently stayed for 4 nights in one of the villas during the off-season. To be completely honest, there were plenty of other hotels in the exact same area offering similar features for half or even a third of the price. However, we intentionally chose to pay a premium because we wanted a luxury experience and high-end service. Unfortunately, despite paying for a premium stay, we were left deeply disappointed. While the room quality was good and the food (especially the pizza and burgers) was delicious, the resort's service and management fell far short of 5-star standards. Here is an objective breakdown of our experience: Pros: Location: The resort is in a very convenient location in Bophut, within easy walking distance to nearby attractions and local spots. Target Audience: This resort seems ideally suited for families with young children and older demographics looking for a quiet, family-oriented atmosphere. Cons & Areas for Improvement: Not Ideal for Young Couples: For young couples, newlyweds, or travelers in their 30s and 40s seeking a dynamic, premium hospitality experience, this might not be the best fit. We truly hoped this resort would be a place that made us feel the real value of our money, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Service & Staff Attitude: At 10:50 AM, I went to the pool bar and was told to return in 10 minutes. When I came back at 11:30 AM, the female bartender showed a very unwelcoming, moody attitude just for taking a drink order. When guests pay premium rates for luxury, they should feel welcomed, not like a burden to the staff. Communication & Minibar: The staff's English proficiency is highly insufficient for an international resort. Our simple request to have only lemon soda and extra water (no Coca-Cola or Sprite) in the minibar was completely ignored, and they just left whatever they pleased. Housekeeping: Despite our constructive attitude, housekeeping was weak. Changing the beach towels only once every two days in this hot and humid weather is not acceptable. Beach & Sea: The beach area was quite dirty, and the sea water in this specific location was unfortunately not clean during our stay. Breakfast: While the villa-specific breakfast options were decent, the general buffet breakfast was very limited and weak. High standards should be consistent across all areas. In summary, we don't want to completely criticize the property because it has its strengths. However, when you bypass budget-friendly options specifically to buy a "luxury experience," you expect the hospitality to match. We sincerely hope the management takes this feedback into consideration to bring the service quality up to its true potential.

Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We had 2 rooms which were spacious and had a large connecting balcony. Staff were friendly and kind - we were treated to beautiful flower displays and had cake delivered for room for a birthday and anniversary celebration. My sons attended Muai Thai in the hotel and were impressed with the skill, friendliness and enjoyment of this. Breakfast had a good choice of food and drink, catering well for vegetarians. We loved our stay here and will definitely return 💜

We had a fabulous stay at Bandara Resort - the meals, especially the variety of culturally different choices, were exceptional. The room was wonderful and the amenities at the resort were top class. What really made our stay so memorable and enjoyable were your staff - they are the most beautiful group of people we have ever met - could not fault anyone! From the moment we arrived, to the minute we left they were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Bandara - have already recommended to friends and family! The ONLY thing that I would like to mention is we had the meal package and did not realize we could not use it for lunch on the last day. We assumed we had a full 10 days' worth of meal choices (2 meals/day). Thank you so much for a great holiday. Look forward to staying and seeing you all again.

Schöne gepflegte Anlage, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war lecker aber wenig abwechslungsreich. Die Pools sind optisch schön und groß und die Kinder hatten viel Spaß im Wasser. Auch die Musik an den Pools war überwiegend sehr angenehm. Leider funktionierte keine der Düsen im Pool und man sieht ihm das Alter schon etwas an. Die Zimmer sind schön aber auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Klimaanlage ist zu laut. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel sind alle sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kinderlieb! Die Lage in der Nähe des Fisherman's village und des Nachtmarkts ist sehr gut, alles ist fußläufig erreichbar (auch zahlreiche Restaurants). Der Strandabschnitt ist aber leider nicht ganz ideal, da der Sand sehr grobkörnig und unangenehm an den Füßen ist und das Wasser immer trüb (vielleicht hatten wir aber auch Pech und es lag an unserer Reisezeit Ende Mai, Anfang Juni oder am wechselhaften Wetter, das weiß ich nicht?). Freie Liegen bekamen wir immer, sowohl am pool, als auch in erster Strandlinie. Der Blick aufs Meer und die gegenüber liegenden Inseln ist schön. Wir sind leider sehr enttäuscht, dass wir am Abreisetag gebeten wurden unsere 4 (von 5) Sterne Bewertung bei TripAdvisor entweder auf 5 Sterne zu ändern oder ganz zu löschen, da diese angeblich das Ranking nach unten ziehen würde. Dieses Handling ist für uns ein No-Go und hindert uns leider auch daran, das Hotel noch einmal zu besuchen.

Wir haben als fünfköpfige Familie einen wunderbaren Urlaub in diesem Hotel verbracht. Da wir zwei Zimmer gebucht hatten, konnten wir die Anlage aus verschiedenen Perspektiven genießen und waren rundum begeistert. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt. Besonders die vielen grünen Bereiche und die üppige Bepflanzung schaffen eine entspannte und angenehme Atmosphäre. Sowohl an den Pools als auch am Meer gibt es ausreichend Liegen, sodass man sich keine Gedanken über das Reservieren machen muss. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass die Eierspeisen jeden Morgen frisch und nach Wunsch zubereitet werden. Ein weiteres Highlight sind die Happy Hours: an der Poolbar von 15 bis 16 Uhr und an der Beachbar von 17 bis 18 Uhr. Eine tolle Gelegenheit, den Urlaubstag entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets hilfsbereit und hatten immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Ein besonderer Dank gilt Kitti, der sich außergewöhnlich engagiert hat und sich große Mühe gab, unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Seine Hilfsbereitschaft und Aufmerksamkeit haben unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für die schöne Zeit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
