Back in 2016, while visiting family in Koh Samui, we had a wonderful stay at Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa. The property was beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush tropical gardens that gave it a peaceful and private atmosphere. Our villa was spacious and comfortable—perfect for our family of four—and felt like a true island retreat. The restaurant was outstanding, offering delicious Thai and international dishes, with a terrace overlooking the sea that made every meal feel special. Breakfast and dinners there were a highlight of our trip. We also loved that the hotel was within easy walking distance to Bo Phut Fisherman’s Village, where we could explore local shops, beachside bars, and night markets. Overall, it was a fantastic, relaxing stay, and one we still remember fondly. Highly recommended for families and couples looking for a peaceful, authentic Koh Samui experience.

Je me suis rendue aujourd’hui au Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa avec l’intention de passer une journée détente complète (piscine, spa et restaurant). À notre arrivée, un membre du personnel au bar jeune homme nous a refusé l’accès en prétextant que la piscine était “complète”. Pourtant, il n’y avait pratiquement personne à la piscine à ce moment-là, ce qui rend cette explication difficile à comprendre. Nous étions prêts à consommer sur place (repas, boissons, massage), mais malgré cela, aucun effort ni alternative ne nous a été proposé. Nous pensions également y réserver 2 nuités biensur nous y remettront plus les pieds!!! Je trouve cela dommage pour un établissement de ce standing, surtout compte tenu de l’accueil peu agréable que nous avons reçu. Cela ne reflète pas l’image de sérénité et d’hospitalité que l’on attend d’un lieu comme celui-ci. Expérience décevante.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Zazen Boutique Resort and would happily come back. What impressed us most was the entire team. Every member of staff we met was genuinely warm, kind and caring. It never felt forced or like the usual hotel politeness — it felt real and sincere. You could genuinely feel that they cared about their guests. A special thank you to Toy and Nun at the restaurant, who took such good care of us during our stay. Toy, you are a truly lovely person. Please never let anyone — whether guests or colleagues — convince you otherwise. You are wonderful exactly as you are. ❤️ Thank you so much for all your care and kindness. We stayed in a Garden Suite, which was beautiful. The room had lots of natural light, a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a good-sized shower. We also had very little trouble with noise, which made the stay even more relaxing. The breakfast was excellent and very extensive. There was much more than just Asian breakfast options. For those who prefer a Western breakfast, there was plenty to choose from as well, including eggs, white bread, pancakes, waffles and sweet breakfast options. The restaurant was also a highlight, both for lunch and dinner. There is an impressive amount of choice, and everything is presented beautifully and prepared with great care. We especially recommend the Thai Discovery Menu — a wonderful way to discover different Thai flavours. Overall, Zazen gave us exactly what we were hoping for during our honeymoon: peace, beautiful surroundings, wonderful food and, above all, genuinely kind people. Thank you to the entire Zazen team for making our stay so special. ❤️

A true little corner of paradise! Everything was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The setting is magnificent, perfect for total relaxation and escape. The service is impeccably professional, and the staff is incredibly kind, always going above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. An absolute must-visit that I recommend with my eyes closed! I can't wait to come back.

One of the best places in Samui island. Everything is so beautiful and special, you can see that they thought about every little detail. The pool area is beautiful and the restaurant is very recommended. P.S the boutique clothing shop there is absolutely recommended, so many beautiful pieces. Some are from Indonesia

Normalerweise vergebe ich keine 1 Stern Bewertung aber das hat mich wirklich enttäuscht. Meine Tochter wollte ihren Geburtstag in diesem Restaurant feiern und so reservierte ich um 13.30 Uhr einen Tisch für 19.00 Uhr. Die zusage kam auch prompt mit der bitte pünktlich zu erscheinen. Um 17.43 Uhr wurde mir dann mitgeteilt dass leider kein Tisch frei wäre. Die Nachricht mit der Bestätigung die mir kurz nach meiner Anfrage bestätigt wurde, wurde einfach gelöscht. Um jetzt noch irgendwo in einem Restaurant einen Tisch zu reservieren, fast unmöglich.....
