Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but I don’t feel the resort offers good value for money given its price point. The biggest drawback was the lack of common spaces to relax outside of the room. Compared to other luxury resorts, there were very few areas where families or couples could comfortably spend time during the day, which made the resort feel quite limited. While the staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable, the overall experience didn’t justify the premium price. For what you pay, I expected more facilities, better communal spaces, and a stronger luxury resort atmosphere. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider it worth the price and would look at other options in Koh Samui next time that offer better value for money.

We spent the second half of our honeymoon at this magical resort. From check in to check out everything was spectacular. From the wonderful service from the team, like Irene, Art, Pop and others to the fire show and daily happy hour at Sandals, and our amazing dining by design dinner coordinated by Nikki, everything was just fantastic. We can’t wait to return to this magical resort in the future. Our room with the private pool was beautiful as well. This resort exudes what radical hospitality is about. Bravo!

Beautiful, luxurious hotel. Good located near chaweng. Own private beach, you can use a kayak or SUP for free and paddle to a small island in 15min. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Our room has an own pool, enough space with a big bed. The bathroom is separately climated. The staff cleans up your room up to 3x a day. You can use a buggyservice for changing the areas from the beach to breakfast etc. With the minor app you can chat with the lobby, order a buggy, order room service and much more. I recommend you using the app. The sun rises at the beach and sets on the other side. You can walk 5min around de corner of the beach to see the sunset. We we're a few times in rasananda at koh phangan and now at lawana in chaweng. We can absolutely recommend you the anantara hotels in koh samui or phangan.

A lovely hotel overall. Staff generally are friendly and helpful, The rooms for a 5 star are fairly basic, and if you've stayed at other Anantara hotels, this will not live up to your 5* expectations unfortunately. Customer service at managerial level is underwhelming to say the least.

The Anantara Lawana was simply amazing! We stayed for 5 days, and everything from the rooms to the food was of the highest quality. The grounds are spectacular, right on the beach but with plenty of space. The staff also were completely accommodating at all times, and created a really lovely atmosphere around the hotel. Chaweng town is super accessible, about a 15 minute walk away or a 5 minute taxi. Overall, we had an incredible experience and would certainly recommend!

This was my first visit to Ko Samui, as well as my first stay at this resort, and overall it has been a remarkable experience. From the very first moment, the beauty of the place, the warm welcome, the quality of the services, and the high level of cleanliness all stand out, reflecting the resort management’s attention to the finest details. The staff are kind and professional, always welcoming guests with a smile and a friendly attitude, which makes the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. As for the only remarks, the villa prices are relatively high, and the room size seems small compared to the value of the stay. Overall, the experience has been wonderful so far, and I would confidently recommend this resort, especially for those seeking tranquility, natural beauty, and excellent service.
