El hotel es pequeño pero cómodo. El personal de los restaurantes son indiferentes, en especial los meseros. Aunque se pague todo incluido esperas un buen trato por parte de ellos o al menos que estén atentos a lo que se ocupa. Muchas veces tuvimos que estarlos siguiendo para pedir café o alguna otra bebida. A excepción del restaurante japonés, fue el único donde se nos atendió bien.La comida estaba buena 8/10, siempre hubo variedad.Estuvimos justamente el día del partido de México, en el bar hubo buena atención y las bebidas estaban ricas. Solo que no nos quisieron prender la tele que estar por enfrente porque según no funcionaba, y horas antes estaba prendida. Esperamos a que se desocuparan los lugares de la pantalla grande de la sala para poder verlo. Pudimos notar el diferente trato entre mexicanos y extranjeros, puesto que para entrar al restaurante te pedían cierta forma de vestir donde regresaron a mi novio para poder pasar a desayunar, justamente después dejaron pasar a dos hombres extranjeros con sandalias cuando se supone que no se podía, ¿por? fue discriminatorio en realidad. La habitación estaba limpia, pero el aire acondicionado no funcionaba al cien, y el cuarto no tenía luz espejo, que siento que también es importante en un cuarto de hotel en especial en la playa. La ubicación es buena puesto que está cerca de dos plazas, pero en realidad me llevo una mala experiencia de este hotel y no volvería a ir jamás. Ojo también cuando el personal te invita a un tour gratuito para comprar recuerditos baratos y una degustación de tequila, súper fake, te llevan a un lugar super caro donde te obligan a escuchar como te quieren vender cosas y más de lo triple de lo que cuestan en el mercado 28.

We stayed here with my partner for one night to finish off our trip across Mexico, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. Having stayed at several 5-star hotels in Mexico before, I didn’t expect to be this impressed, but our experience exceeded every expectation. We arrived before check-in and were welcomed to use all the facilities before 3 PM, which was such a great start to our stay. We were also given a complimentary room upgrade, and after check-out at 12 PM, we were still allowed to enjoy the resort and our all-inclusive package until 5 PM. That level of hospitality truly made a difference. The staff were exceptional — incredibly kind, professional, attentive, and fluent in English. The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, modern, and spacious, and even during sargassum season, the beach was being cleaned constantly. To whoever manages this hotel and to the entire staff: thank you. I’m giving this place 5 stars, even if it’s officially rated as a 4-star hotel. The property may be smaller with only one pool, but for our one-night stay it was absolutely perfect. Experiences like this, and people like you, are what make travelers want to come back. Keep up the amazing work!

We had an amazing week at NYX Hotel and would definitely come back again. The food was incredible—Balam quickly became our favorite spot for both breakfast and dinner. The Deck, right on the beach, is super convenient for lunch or just grabbing an appetizer without interrupting your beach time. I also highly recommend trying the sushi restaurant on the hotel grounds—it’s absolutely worth it. Our room was very clean, and the room service was excellent. Overall, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Marco, Manuel, and Abimael for making our stay extra special—we truly appreciated their kindness and attention. The hotel offers a variety of fun daily programs, so there’s always something to do. We also noticed how well they maintain the beach—they clean the seaweed multiple times a day, which makes a big difference. Also hotel is super close to the big mall, we walked there every other day for the evening walk. The atmosphere was fantastic, and everything was kept spotless. We genuinely loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

Je suis allé au NYX avec 7 autres personnes âgées toutes entre 19 et 24 ans. On a vraiment apprécié notre séjour là-bas. Cependant, quelques trucs nous ont vraiment déçus. Premièrement, chaque restaurant le soir a un code vestimentaire pour les hommes. Ils sont tous obligés de mettre un chandail, un pantalon long et des souliers fermés. Alors, aucune camisole, aucun short et aucune sandale ne sont acceptés, mais les filles peuvent s’habiller comme elles veulent. Si ce règlement n’est pas respecté, les garçons ne peuvent pas entrer souper, donc c’est très sévère. Ensuite, le service au restaurant Le Deck est super long, mais à la plage, super rapide. Pour finir, l’ambiance est très le fun durant la journée, mais le soir, très calme, sauf les soirées karaoké. Malgré cela, c’était très le fun. La nourriture étais super bonne et chaque soir le buffet étais différent donc ce n’étais pas redondant.L’hôtel était super propre et les chambres aussi. La plage est super belle et les employés super gentils. Mention spéciale à nos employés préférés de la semaine : Fani, Carlos à l’animation, Carlos au bar, Francesco et Freddy. J’en oublie sûrement quelques-uns, mais ils étaient tous bien gentils. Finalement, je suggère cet hôtel pour les personnes de plus de 18 ans. Ce n’est pas un hôtel vraiment pour les familles.

Una experiencia muy buena. El personal de servicio, comida, instalaciones, aseo de todo el hotel en general excelente. Amaneceres y atardeceres divinos. Todo el tiempo hay actividades y la playa la limpian todos los días. El sargazo por estos días estuvo tranqui. :) desde Colombia feliz con nuestra visita a NYX

We return to Hotel NYX Cancun every year, and it never disappoints. The location is stunning, the rooms are comfortable, and the beach is absolutely beautiful—but what truly makes this place special is the incredible staff. We want to give a special shout-out to Yelena Gonzalez, Oliver, Makeh, Nadia Vega, and the amazing Deyvison. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail make every stay memorable. They go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and cared for. Whether it's helping with a request, offering a friendly smile, or remembering our preferences from past visits, they make us feel like family. A very special thank you to Yelena for making our daughter's birthday so memorable. She thoughtfully arranged for our room to be beautifully decorated as a surprise and even coordinated with the restaurant to have a birthday cake waiting for her. Her attention to every detail and genuine care meant so much to our family and made the celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you, Hotel NYX Cancun, for being our home away from home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
