Hacienda Encantada Resort and Residences

So this maybe the perfect resort for some people. And it is beautiful, it is clean, and the staff is amazing. Just a few problems... One is the all inclusive. They do not have the all-inclusive model figured out. It's a total pain in the ass. Every time we get a bottle of water somebody is chasing you down with a check you have to sign. It's really weird. Second, it's a beach resort with no beach. What it does have is a beautiful view waves crashing against the rocks creating a watershow that most resorts do not have, but if you're expecting a lounge chair by the Sea and dipping into the water to cool off, it's not going to happen here. Third, third, it is not inexpensive. For these prices you should have a better bottle of whiskey on this shelf than Johnnie Walker black. Friends got married here and I do have to say there may not be a better view for your wedding service anywhere at any price.

My fiancée and I visited Hacienda Encantada in April. Overall, we loved our stay and recommend it to any couple, family, or friends looking for a relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, and stunning views. You have access to one of the best views of the Arch and the bay, especially from the Mirador lookout atop Las Tres Marias restaurant. We were also delighted with the food, with American, Italian, and Mexican cuisine available at multiple restaurants throughout the resort. The Mexican food was the best I had ever tasted in a hotel or resort in Los Cabos. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and dedicated to making our time unforgettable. The hotel also offered transportation around the resort, to Medano Beach, and anywhere in Cabo, which made it easy to connect with family and friends. It also has several clean, spacious, and refreshing pools, including adults-only and family-friendly options. My fiancée and I loved our stay here, and we look forward to coming back!

Food is delicious, service outstanding but….beware - $150 credit per room was not awarded as stated per website on booking.. Hotel said they knew nothing about it??? Shown website only for them to refuse and blame travel agent, and would not honour posted credit…? Curling brush missing from carryon bag. Only time my carryon was absent from me was from baggage transfer in reception to room transfer of luggage). Original room was dark and dingy facing a retaining wall! Asked to have room changed as it was a dark and dingy and faced a retaining wall and next to cart path for staff. Rooms dark and in need of upgrading. Bathtub is a accident hazard. Credit card charged $130 after having a zero balance upon checkout! Email sent twice to hotel re bogus billing with no answer to date. No entertainment at resort! Hotel staff are helpful and courteous and food is delicious! But would NOT return to this hotel.

Stayed here for a week with my mother. The facility felt very safe. The facility had golf cars driven by staff to help transport people to their locations. That helped my mother greatly. The only improvement is if they drove by buildings more often or had call buttons for pick up at each building so we would know how long the wait was and let them know people are waiting. We used the adult pool as well as the family pool. Both had their perks but for us the family pool was best because the seats did not fill up immediately. Where as the adult infinity pool area filled up fast!!! People would show up at 0730 and claim entire sections for their friends that would show up hours later. The family pool was less busy and offered available seats. It also had a pool bar. The rooms had full size fridges, big microwave, blender, toaster, coffee pot and 2 burners as well as dishes and pots etc for use. To keep costs down our initial driver took us to the grocery store (enroute from the airport to the resort) and we paid less than $200 worth of groceries that lasted the whole week. We did not eat out (costs were high in the resort area). We used our extra money to go marlin fishing and that was an all day excursion that I would do again! The room has great water pressure, big shower jetted tub, clean and nice pillows. The bed was way too hard for our comfort and i did have back knots from it but still worth the trip. Overall the room was about 1k for the week. Plus mandatory added tips ontop of the room costs between $160 an $200. We tipped everyone soooooo keep in mind they also add that additional expense that we were not initially aware of. We also booked ahead of time with a company that picked us up from the airport and drove us to the resort which was about 140+ (you got charged more if you took longer than 25 mins at the grocery store). On the way home back to airport I had to reserve another taxi service which cost me $100. The facility had items in the fridge but you got charged a higher price and each item had a sticker on it so you couldn't replace it on your own. I enjoyed the option to cook on our own and I loved the safety of the facility.

Our favorite service members are Joshua and Luis. At pizza restaurant. We also love Teresa in breakfast restaurant. Friendly! Warm! Funny! It's clear they like people and their jobs. :)

Our Dream Wedding at Hacienda Encantada — October 10, 2026 🤍 We got married at Hacienda Encantada on October 10, 2026, and it was the best weekend of our lives! Our onsite coordinators, Zaira and Eliangela, absolutely CRUSHED it. We didn’t hire an outside planner and truly didn’t need one. We live in Dallas, Texas, so most planning was by email, apart from a venue visit and tasting in January. I was anxious the week before, but every expectation was exceeded. Multiple guests said it was the best wedding they’d ever attended! Every vendor recommended by Zaira was incredible. PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT — Axl Zamudio, @KrystalProductionsLosCabos I am SO glad we booked Axl! His existing relationship with the resort meant he knew all the best photo locations and coordinated with Zaira throughout the day to keep everyone informed about where to be. His wife, Maicha, also joined to capture Instagram content, and her videos were unbelievably cool! She perfectly captured everything from us dancing during the ceremony to our surprise fireworks. Axl even got an amazing drone shot of our welcome party. BOOK THEM! (We don’t have all the photos back yet since it was only 3 days ago😂 so some of the attached photos are from guests iPhones) ELECTRIC VIOLIN — @GregJoya Greg played our ceremony, with favorites from Taylor Swift and Rihanna to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely.” Such a unique, personal touch! FLORALS & DÉCOR — @FallingInLoveCabo They BLEW US AWAY! I shared basic pink-and-orange inspiration, and they took it to another level. Everything was stunning! They also perfectly executed my idea for floating letters and balloons in the infinity pool at our welcome party—SO COOL! They even made a custom seating chart to match our Minted invitation suite. MARIACHI — Mariachi San Lucas Zaira arranged them for cocktail hour, and they were fantastic! They added a fun, authentic touch, and guests loved taking pictures with them. OFFICIANT — Diego Vidal Diego officiated our symbolic ceremony; we completed our legal marriage at a courthouse in Texas. He balanced sincerity and humor perfectly. He also gave us a Mexican marriage certificate we’ll cherish! BEST WEDDING BAND EVER! — @UndercoverLive George was so cool and easy to work with. The band played our favorites and kept everyone hyped! I even got on stage to shout out my college football team, and they were so fun about it. They’ve performed in Cabo many times, making setup easy, and even brought and built the stage! VENUES — THE CHAPEL & THE FIREPIT Our ceremony and cocktail hour were at the chapel, with the reception at The Firepit. Both were exceptional! Our 88 guests had plenty of room to dance and celebrate with breathtaking ocean views and sunset. BIGGEST ADVICE: TRUST ZAIRA AND ELIANGELA! I cannot recommend Hacienda Encantada more highly. The resort is beautiful, food was fantastic, the vendors are phenomenal, and the experience was beyond our wildest dreams. Zaira and Eliangela were organized, responsive, thoughtful, and on top of every detail. I could relax and enjoy my wedding because I knew everything was taken care of. Planning a destination wedding from another state can feel overwhelming, but they made it seamless and magical. We’d choose Hacienda Encantada and this team a million times over. If you’re dreaming of a Cabo destination wedding, this is your sign! We’re forever grateful to Zaira, Eliangela, and every vendor who made our wedding unforgettable. 🤍
