Just returned from a 12 night stay as a group of 10, 3 adults 7 children aged 7-17 years old. Hotel is well equipped with lots of activities to join in for all ages. Food excellent with lots of choice but as with every all inclusive can become tired over time. However, several restaurants on site and we enjoyed the Italian the most. Sadly we couldn't book into the Brazilian for the entirety of the stay which was a shame, this maybe due to large party but the bookings don't open until 7am daily and even with an early start we couldn't get in. Staff welcoming and in buffet were attentive. However, bar staff need some more smiles and service speed at times. Felt a little like we were putting them out but lady waiting on loungers was wonderful. We enjoyed a bus trip into Playa del Carmen as a change of scene and lots of other trips available.

This is a great resort to enjoy the wildlife and luxury. There are wild animals everywhere co existing and it was lovely to see all the greenery around the property. From the time we checked into our resort, our Concierge Sucel was so knowledgeable and helpful. She helped us book out day passes to enjoy the amenities and she made great recommendations for restaurants and activities. My fiancé and I mainly relaxed during our trip, which is what we desired to do and we loved a couple days of activities we picked during our 7 night stay. Our room was nice with a king sized bed, very spacious with a balcony located on the second floor. My only complaint is the cooling system doesn’t dehumidify the room. However, the housekeeping kept everything really clean and comfortable and it helped alleviate the moisture. With all the different restaurants and bars you can always find a place to eat and drink. If you forget to make a reservation, the Mediterranean and Mexican restaurant have a convenient first come, first serve option. We also checked out the gym, which was very spacious and had lots of equipment to use. They even had yoga and boot camp classes available. The pool was quiet and nice but since it was a salt water pool I couldn’t enjoy it due to being allergic 😩. The beach seems relaxing although I did not go it to the water. But that didn’t stop any fun. I had a great time with drinks and food by the pool. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and I hope to be back next year.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Paraiso Del Mar in Cancun, Mexico. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by all the staff members each day. Every staff member was extremely polite, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. Our concierge, Sucel, was fantastic—friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. She personally showed us around the facility, pointing out key areas and assisting us whenever we needed help or encountered issues. The pools at the resort are meticulously maintained—clean and inviting. Some pools contain saltwater, which is a consideration for guests with allergies; Sucel confirmed this information to ensure my safety. If you’re seeking a comfortable, relaxing, and peaceful place to stay for your vacation or holiday, this resort is an excellent choice. My fiancé and I plan to upgrade to stay at the Maya or Lindo resorts next year for an even more luxurious experience.

Nuestra estadía fue increíble. Pudimos disfrutar de la playa, la piscina, excelente comida tanto en el buffet como en los restaurantes de especialidad, las piezas del resort eran amplias y cómodas. Había muchos animales, todos muy integrados en los jardines del hotel. El único problema son los coatíes que están tan acostumbrados a los humanos, que buscan restos de comida e incluso te la quitan de las manos y a nosotros nos robaron un bolso que luego un trabajador nos ayudó a rescatar del jardín. Hay que destacar el excelente trabajo de Alessa, Diego y todo el equipo de Star Prestige, siempre atentos a todas nuestras necesidades, reservas de horas en spa y restaurantes, solicitud de carritos de traslado, un ágil check out y un sinfín de detalles para hacer aún más confortable y llena de buenos momentos nuestras vacaciones.

Diego, Josyn, Román, Jireh and Pearla were wonderful. Your entertainment team was absolutely outstanding. They consistently went above and beyond to engage guests, create a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and ensure everyone was having an amazing time. Their enthusiasm, professionalism, and tireless efforts did not go unnoticed. They are a tremendous asset to your organization, and you are truly fortunate to have them on your team

This was my second time to this resort but the last was 10 years ago and it was interesting how much it was the same! We had a group of 15 for a 50th anniversary and everyone had a great time. There is lots of wildlife and activities and unfortunately the sargassum on the beach made it smell and we couldn’t go in the water and the rainy weather made it impossible to go diving with dressel divers (we were there 5 nights and might have been able to dive the last day). I want to give special kudos to Yisell and Yuremi who took great care of us in the prestige pool and lounge and helped us through a lot of little issues. The prestige level services were so helpful for the personal shuttles because the standard shuttles can be very slow and also the special areas/bars where we got great service and top shelf liquor I gave the rooms 4 stars instead of 5 because they use a swamp cooler type AC in this lowest level of the resort and it didn’t dehumidify so it was often muggy and things don’t dry well but our housekeepers were amazing and kept things very clean which helped a lot. The food was good, not great, at most places, but the hibachi restaurant is amazing (both for service and food taste and you get a little beef, chicken and shrimp on your plate). We did a special event/dinner under a palapa on the beach one night and the set up was beautiful and perfect, and the chocolate cake was to die for. We were so impressed and would do that again in a heartbeat! I could go on about the amenities but this is getting long - there is a small waterpark with a kids’ pirate ship for 6-12 year old and some slides for people over 4’ and a nice, slow lazy river with limited tubes (you are allowed to bring your own if you want to pack them. We did archery, rifle shooting (over 18), and the kids’ and teens club (only open 7-11pm). The gym was nice and pretty big and I went to a boot camp and yoga class and they were both well done with instructions in English and Spanish. Overall I recommend this resort as a top choice for an all inclusive in Mexico, especially if you can splurge for the prestige day pass or buy the membership!
