⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are looking for a resort with a long white sandy beach, then this review may not be for you. However, if you want to know what makes Occidental Costa Cancún a great place to stay, keep reading. One of the things I appreciated most was their flexibility with arrival and departure times. We arrived early in the morning, well before the official check-in time. Instead of waiting around, the resort gave us full access to all the facilities. Since we had booked the all-inclusive package, we were able to enjoy the restaurants, pools, beach area, drinks, and all other amenities while waiting for our room to be ready at 3:00 PM. The same excellent service applied on our departure day. Although we had to check out of our room at 11:00 AM, we were allowed to continue using the all-inclusive facilities until 2:00 PM. After that, we could still stay and enjoy the resort’s common areas until our late flight, which made our last day much more comfortable and stress-free. The resort itself was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety and quality that often felt more like dining in a good restaurant than a typical all-inclusive buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The excellent service, flexibility, cleanliness, food quality, and welcoming atmosphere made this a great vacation experience. I would definitely recommend Occidental Costa Cancún to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Cancún.

Me hospede aquí una semana con mi pareja, la habitación muy bien, espaciosa y comoda. La atención del personal del restaurant mexicano fue increíble, de las mejores experiencias de mi hospedajes al igual que el equipo de animación. Desgraciadamente todo esto difiere con la atención del restaurant bufette donde haces filas de más de 15 minutos aunque haya mesas disponibles, es claro que el personal que recibe a la gente no tiene claro como agilizar el servicio y los chicos que tienen atendiendo los bares son unos groseros, te atienden de mala gana, te ignoran a propósito si te escuchan hablar español. En especial los que atienden del bar del lobby, en una ocasión tuve que volver tres veces a exigir que prepararán la bebida que solicité como corresponde. La playa está linda pero pues después de las 7pm y no te permiten estar en ella lo que limita por completo la experiencia.

En Julio16 fuimos a la playa qué esta enfrente de este hotel con mi hija que tiene síndrome down ella no conoce de reglas y se sentó en uno de los camastros , debo decir que no somos huéspedes del hotel y que llevamos nuestra manta para sentarnos, fue entonces que llegó una mujer de seguridad y se molesto porque se sentó mi hija, le dijimos que ya no lo iba a hacer pero que moverías el camastro un poco para poder estar cómodos y dijo que no y empezó a hacer un espectáculo diciendo que la playa era propiedad del hotel y que solo podíamos usar uno o dos metros del agua hacia afuera y llamo al supervisor para que nos corriera, otro trabajador movió el camastro y cuando llego su supervisor le dijo que no queríamos entender y que la estábamos grabando, cuando la amenace qué la reportaría con el gobierno empezó a negar lo que nos había dicho y tambien lo negó al supervisor casi nos corre de la playa, solo que como no nos dejamos se la pelo. Creo que deben de entrenar mejor a sus empleados sobre todo para que sepan la leyes de playas publicas y que sepan cuanto es lo que es li re para usar que por lo que leí son 20 metros de la marea alta hacia la playa.

We had a great time here overall. The pool and the beach were great. The food was consistently good across the resort. The staff was fantastic and always willing to help. We had some issues with the rooms and had to be relocated twice. However, they handled it professionally despite a few issues. The rooms are outdated and with maintenance issues, at least the ones I saw. I would stay again here as long as prices are competitive.

For almost half of the price of other all inclusives that we were quoted by our travel agent, this resort was “good enough”. We have been to many 5 star resorts and this wasn’t too far off besides some missing amenities (not much for kids to do) The resort is small but nice and clean. Food options are limited but sufficient. We all stuck to fully cooked foods and none of us got sick in our immediate family. I would suggest more traditional Mexican food as we missed proper tacos and had to find these off resort. The staff was very helpful with my celiac dietary restrictions as well. The resort is right off a nice walking trail and next to the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Great trip overall!

Me and my family had a great time here! We enjoyed the food in the buffet and in the restaurants, it exceeded expectations on both quality and variety. We may have gained a few pounds over the week! The drinks were good too, especially the piña colada and the mezcalita. The resort is clean and well maintained, and the staff is warm and friendly. The entertainment staff especially kept us in good spirits.. Jessica, Amairany, and Alexa were around every day with games and bracelets and good vibes. They kept the place fun and friendly! Finally the nightly entertainment was excellent as well, we especially enjoyed the circus show and the Mexican dancers, highly talented performances! Overall for the price this place was way above our expectations.
