4/11-14 까지 3박 묵었는데 첫인상은 좋았습니다. 출발하기 전 전용공간에서 쉬고 배를 타고 섬까지 들어가는 과정, 리조트와 룸컨디션도 좋았습니다. 프라이빗한 느낌이라 좋은데 관리가 가격만큼 잘되있지않습니다. 일단, 바다 근처 썬베드는 자리가 모자랄때가 있었고 깨끗하지않아요. 수건 갯수도 많이.. 모자랍니다. 그때그때 빠르게 채워놓지않아요. 전반적으로 음식도 나쁘진 않지만 엄청 맛있지도 않아요. 그리고 4/11 체크인 후, 루프탑에서 인종차별 당한거 생각하면 다시 가고싶지는않네요. 루프탑 직원들, 루프탑 바 직원들이 주문을 받지않아서 버틀러까지 부른 기억이 있네요. 그 기억 때문에 숙박내내 기분이 좋지않아서 제대로 즐기지 못 했어요. 4/13, 인도인 매니저가 상황을 파악하고 음식음료 총괄 매니저분이 직접와서 정중하게 사과를 받았지만, 애초에 직원교육이 잘 되어있지않고 전반적으로 서비스가 다른 호텔에 비해서 현저히 떨어집니다. 이 가격대에 서비스가 이 정도라니.... 다시는 가고싶지않아요. 바다 뷰는 예쁩니다. 뷰만 보러가실거면 가시면 됩니다. 메인 풀에 미스터 길 아저씨가 정말 친절하고 나이스해서 있는 동안 아주 감사했어요. 체크아웃 후, 인사하고 오려는데 못 만났네요. 다시 한번 감사드려요!

Impressions Isla Mujeres is, from a physical and architectural standpoint, a beautiful property with significant potential. Unfortunately, during our stay, the operational execution did not consistently support the resort’s luxury positioning or justify its premium price point. This review is offered as constructive feedback, as the gap between concept and delivery appears to be operational rather than structural. Brand Positioning vs. Guest Experience The resort markets itself as an ultra-luxury, detail-driven experience. In practice, many elements felt closer to a standard all-inclusive model operating within a luxury setting. True luxury hospitality is defined by anticipation, coordination, and consistency — areas where the resort currently struggles. Culinary Program Dining was the most notable shortfall. Across multiple venues, food quality and execution fell below expectations for a property positioned at this tier. We communicated concerns directly to our butler and VIP guest services during the stay and were told leadership would be informed; however, there was no meaningful follow-up or service recovery. At this price category, culinary experiences should serve as a cornerstone of the stay rather than an area of compromise. A confirmed reservation at the Mexican restaurant was also changed by guest services due to a private wedding event taking place. While private events are understandable, allowing reservations to be made that cannot ultimately be honored reflects internal communication and planning deficiencies inconsistent with luxury standards. Operational Readiness Operational discipline appeared inconsistent. For example, the swim-up Shark Bar opened significantly late one morning, with staff still setting up well after posted opening hours while guests waited. Luxury properties typically operate with venues fully prepared prior to guest arrival, reinforcing reliability and attention to detail. Don't start setting up at the posted open time, be open and set up at that time. Amenities & Marketing Alignment Certain amenities highlighted in marketing materials were either unavailable or rarely operational. Staff indicated the waterslide operates infrequently due to tide conditions. When amenities are regularly impacted by environmental factors, expectations should be managed transparently to maintain guest trust. Luxury branding requires alignment between promotion and realistic delivery. Service Structure & Communication The staff were consistently warm and professional; however, service systems appeared reactive rather than proactive. Concerns raised during the stay did not result in visible follow-through or recovery efforts — a hallmark distinction between upscale and true luxury hospitality. The property feels as though departments are operating independently rather than within a unified guest-experience strategy. Overall Assessment Impressions Isla Mujeres has the foundation to be an exceptional resort. The challenge currently lies not in aesthetics, but in operational cohesion, culinary leadership, and executional consistency. Until service delivery, amenity reliability, and internal coordination match the brand’s luxury promise, the experience may not meet the expectations created by its pricing and marketing. With focused operational refinement, this property could become a standout in the region. At present, however, it feels like a luxury concept still working toward full realization. As frequent travelers who regularly choose luxury properties specifically for consistency, service precision, and elevated dining experiences, we selected Impressions Isla Mujeres based on its branding and reputation. The property unquestionably has the physical assets to compete at the highest level; however, luxury today is defined less by design and more by execution. We share this feedback in the hope that operational refinements bring the guest experience into alignment with the standard the resort clearly aims to represent.

My husband and I chose this resort for our honeymoon, expecting a relaxing and memorable experience. Unfortunately, it turned into a series of disappointments. During our stay, our room flooded around 1:00 a.m. We were forced to pack up our belongings in the middle of the night and move rooms. No one wants to spend part of their honeymoon dealing with a flooded room instead of enjoying their vacation. To the resort's credit, they did upgrade us causing a second move for our final night, and we appreciated that gesture. We were also told our room was ready and then had to sit in our pajamas in the hall way waiting for it as it was not. And it did not change what happened or address the damage caused by the flood. Their suggestion was to send my leather brand new Tory Burch sandals to housekeeping to be dried. I got bit by bugs often for which did not happen at the other resort we stayed at on the island. Our butler made reservations our first night at the wing restaurant which was actually closed that day. For these prices I expect more. If you damage property replace it!

I had the most amazing experience at Impressions and honestly if I could give this resort a 10-star review, I absolutely would. From the moment we arrived, the vibe, service, food, and overall experience were incredible. Every single staff member was attentive, welcoming, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our entire stay. My fiancé actually proposed to me here while we were celebrating our babymoon, and the staff went above and beyond to make the experience feel so special and unforgettable. Every restaurant we tried was absolutely delicious, the food tasted so fresh, and their ice cream is a MUST try. One of my favorite parts of the resort was the butler service. They assign you a personal butler and create a group chat where you can ask questions, make reservations, or get help with literally anything during your stay. It made everything so convenient and stress-free. A very special thank you to Vianey, who truly made our trip unforgettable. She was beyond kind, thoughtful, and attentive the entire time. She even gave us a gift for our baby once she found out we were celebrating our babymoon, which meant so much to us. She made me feel so special and cared for, and honestly I would come back to this resort again just because of how amazing she was. If you’re thinking about booking Impressions, DO IT. In my opinion, it is the best resort on the entire island.

We chose Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets to celebrate our honeymoon, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The design of the rooms and the overall resort is beautiful, elegant, and thoughtfully done, with stunning views throughout the property that create a very special atmosphere. The staff were consistently kind, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcomed at all times. We would especially like to thank our butlers, Alexander and Angel for their professionalism and exceptional service, as well as Abril, who was incredibly informative and kind and always willing to help. The food was excellent in both quality and creativity, offering a wonderful variety of flavours. A special highlight was the teppanyaki dinner with Chef Tony, which was not only delicious but also a fun and memorable experience. Overall, it was an unforgettable honeymoon stay, and we would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway.🌊🌴🫧

Do not believe any of the negative reviews you read about the food or the resort… THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! The food is omg 🤤 They have BONE MARROW, carpaccio, whole fried fish, Chilean seabass, live lobster you can pick from the tank (small upgrade fee), and sooo much more! All of the alcohol they serve is premium, and there is no extra charge. This is not your traditional all inclusive! The only thing I missed a tiny bit was a breakfast buffet. All of the food is à la carte, which ensures the highest quality made to order food, but I do love the variety at a traditional breakfast buffet (obviously I got over it bc the food was so spectacular). My husband and I looked forward to our meals every day and we did not get sick once! I was having all the salad and fresh vegetables and we had no upset stomach. The island is also so spectacular and much calmer than staying in Cancun. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with an upscale atmosphere, great drinks, and mouth watering food then this is the place for you. Worth the splurge! Can’t wait to go back! 10/10 recommend!!🤩
