Este hotel NO es cuatro estrellas!!! Con suerte es tres estrellas. Un unico ascensor minimo de tamaño, muchos salones pequeños que al final muy poca gente los usa. El lugar para desayunar es muy oscuro y el desayuno pobre en variedad y calidad. El baño de la habitación minimo y sin ventilacion. La habitación sin placard, un armario sin cajones, ni estantes, solo algunas perchas para colgar.... No volveria a este hotel. Lo bueno del hotel es la simpatia del bartender y la musica del bar.

We loved this hotel! Intimate rooftop with city views. Numerous quaint small areas to sit and enjoy throughout the hotel. AMAZING breakfast each morning. Clean rooms. The suite upgrade we received was our favorite room of our trip.

Great experience at the Cellai! Service was exceptional and a special recognition for Abdi for the warm hospitality and always having a smile on his face! He went above and beyond with his service and was always full of positive energy creating a great experience for guests. Location is perfect it’s nice and central to all the Piazzas and shops where the activity is, but also far enough where it’s not too noisy. Hotel itself is full of character and vintage Italian charm. Highly recommended!

Safety, security, and guest privacy should be a top priority at any hotel, especially one at this price point. During our stay at Hotel Cellai in Florence, my wife was resting in the room one morning when a man entered unannounced. There was no knock or warning of any kind, and my wife woke up startled and frightened when she suddenly realized someone was inside the room. When she yelled in shock, his response was, “You should have your door locked.” Unfortunately, that is only part of the issue. In order to lock the room from the inside, you must have the room key inserted, as there is no interior toggle lock or secondary latch. There was also no “Do Not Disturb” sign available in the room. I immediately went downstairs to the front desk and asked for a manager because anyone could walk in from the street and go directly to the guest rooms. The situation was extremely unsettling, especially considering the cost and reputation of the hotel. What made the experience even more disappointing was the response from ownership after we brought the matter directly to their attention. Given how upsetting the incident was for both my wife and me, we expected the concern to be taken far more seriously. Instead, the resolution offered was payment for parking and a bottle of Prosecco. Florence is beautiful, but this experience left us feeling extremely uncomfortable and disappointed.

Spectacular hotel with excellent staff. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms were clean and well appointed. I would definitely recommend and we will certainly come back here!

I stayed here for one night between stays, and honestly, I regret booking it. This is not a 4-star hotel—at best, it’s a 3-star, and that’s being generous. The entire property feels old, worn down, and badly in need of renovation. My room (201) was tiny, outdated, and the water pressure was terrible. If you’re assigned this room, I strongly suggest asking to move immediately. To make things worse, the front desk staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, which only added to the frustration. The only redeeming part of this stay was the included breakfast buffet and one lovely host—everything else fell far below expectations. Think twice before booking. This place does not live up to what it claims.
