Nous avons passé la première semaine de notre honeymoon dans cet hôtel et nous étions vraiment très satisfaits de notre séjour. Au début, nous avions payé pour une chambre avec vue sur piscine, mais on nous a donné une chambre qui ne donnait sur rien, et en plus le wifi ne captait presque pas. Le lendemain, nous sommes allés en parler à la réception, et ils ont eu un geste commercial très apprécié : ils nous ont surclassés dans une magnifique chambre avec vue sur la plage. Cela a complètement changé notre expérience dans cet hôtel. La chambre était incroyable, avec un très beau balcon, et nous avons pleinement profité de notre séjour. Le service client était vraiment agréable, professionnel et à l’écoute. Le seul point négatif est qu’il n’y avait pas beaucoup d’animations le soir. Une seule fois, il y avait une danseuse orientale dans le restaurant, mais nous avions déjà prévu de dîner à l’extérieur. S’ils ajoutaient un peu plus de musique live ou des chanteurs le soir, l’ambiance serait encore plus agréable. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et original : en plus du buffet à volonté, on pouvait commander des plats à la carte comme des toasts au saumon ou des omelettes, avec même un menu dédié. C’est quelque chose que je n’avais encore jamais vu dans d’autres hôtels. Je poste cet avis un an et demi après notre voyage, parce que je n’arrivais pas à oublier cette expérience. Je compare toujours les autres hôtels et leur service avec celui de cet hôtel. Nous avons pourtant séjourné dans d’autres hôtels 5 étoiles à Punta Cana après celui-ci, même dans l’hôtel voisin Impressive All Inclusive et dans un grand hôtel Trocadero à Bayahibe, mais nous avons toujours préféré HM. Même s’il est plus petit, nous avons vraiment adoré l’expérience. Merci encore pour ce magnifique séjour ❤️

Me and my partner stayed here the other week for 9 nights and it was amazing! The staff particularly Caimito, Ana victoria, yeral and Alexis were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The hotel breakfast was amazing, there’s an à la carte menu which was delicious and a lovely view of the beach! On arrival the main light wasn’t working so without hesitation we moved rooms next day which was an upgrade from our view too! I would recommend this hotel for its location, service and great how it’s on the beach and the sun beds and bar was great. I would also recommend the japanese restaurant for good quality japanese food. The staff were just wonderful and made our stay even better, I would definitely stay again and recommend as it’s really good value for what it was! Que lo que papi 🇩🇴 😹

The positives; Location is right on the beach. They also have two pool areas. Dining is available on property. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The room and public areas are kept very clean. Many other bars and restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is quiet at night and removed from the noisier strip. Strong security presence 24 hours a day. The negatives: The bathroom was dark. The ceiling fan was noisy. The food at the restaurants is average, at best. The only road leading to the hotel was flooded due to rain, which means Uber and taxis needed to drop you off two blocks away. This means guests needed to walk through ankle deep, dirty rain and sewage water to get to the hotel. This is not the hotel’s fault but something to be aware of.

Me and my wife stayed here the last week for 7 nights and it was amazing! The staff at the Hotel HM Bavaro Beach were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The hotel breakfast was amazing, there’s an à la carte menu which was delicious and a lovely view of the beach! On arrival the AC wasn’t working and staff addressed any issue very quickly no matter time of day. I would recommend this hotel for its location, service and great how it’s on the beach and bar was great. I would also recommend the japanese restaurant for good quality japanese food. The staff were just wonderful and made our stay even better, security at hotel , on the beach and around shopping was excellant and made you feel very safe. I would definitely stay again and recommend as it’s really good value for what it was!

Solo traveller — would not recommend. The pools are nice, the room comfortable, and I appreciated the late check-out. But the service issues made it hard to enjoy. The most serious problem: the hotel assigned someone else to my room while I was already checked in. I had just come out of the shower when someone tried to open my door. Reception couldn’t explain it and just said it was “safe” — not good enough when you’re alone. My room was also on the first floor with no gate from the beach, so I felt exposed the whole night, and it was really noisy. The restaurant was hit or miss — two staff members were genuinely lovely, but most ignored guests entirely. The food is very American-style with no healthy options and overpriced for the quality. To top it off, I booked an airport transfer through the hotel and was told it accepted card. It didn’t — cash only, Dominican pesos only. The driver barely spoke English, the car wasn’t in great condition, and we had to stop at a bank on the way to the airport. Stressful and avoidable. Some positives, but too many safety and reliability concerns for me to return or recommend — especially solo.

HM Bavaro Beach is a wonderful boutique hotel on the beach, which starts right where the hotel ends. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and quite bright, with smart bathrooms and very comfortable and quiet beds. The restaurants are very nice as well; the view from the top floor restaurant and pool is amazing. It makes breakfast and dinner very special. The food at breakfast is very good, varied, tasty and plentiful. For lunch and dinner, the chef cooks a variety of tasty meals and the prices are quite decent. The beach has perfect sand and beautiful and clean water, free of rocks. The beach is sufficiently large to accommodate the hotel's guests with comfortable lounges and large umbrellas. You can walk forever on the beach in either direction. The entire property is extraordinarily clean and very well managed, which is reflected in everything they do. The personnel work quietly and tirelessly behind the scene to keep everything clean, beautiful, and in good working condition. Johanny is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, Katherine has the best smile and Alexis made us feel at home in the restaurant. We had a truly wonderful experience.
