Our experience at Iberostar was excellent. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and extremely attentive throughout our stay. The 24-hour buffet was always well-stocked with a wide variety of quality food, and the dining area was consistently clean and well-maintained. We were impressed by how diligently the staff worked to keep everything organized and spotless. The energy and ambiance of the resort were vibrant and fun. There was never a shortage of things to do, as the entertainment team offered a great variety of daily activities, including interactive games by the pool and engaging events throughout the property. Their enthusiasm helped create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for guests of all ages. The resort also made it incredibly easy to explore the surrounding area. Staff members were readily available to coordinate and guide guests through off-property excursions, making the planning process simple, convenient, and stress-free. Overall, Iberostar provided a fun, relaxing, and memorable vacation experience that we would happily recommend to others. In fact, after our 7-day stay, we were not ready to leave. We actually looked into extending our trip and, if it had not been for the high cost of changing our flights, we would have happily stayed another week. That is not something we typically say, no matter where we travel, and speaks volumes about how much we enjoyed our time here.

Nos quedamos 10 días en el Waves Punta Cana. Quiero destacar la ubicación de las habitaciones, espectacular! Anteriormente hemos estado en el Bávaro y esta ubicación me gustó más. Con respecto al staff, tanto que agradecer y destacar!! Fuimos en familia con mis padres 3era edad y mis hijas. Primero el recibimiento de Jaisa en el Prestige, gracias a ella nuestra estadía estuvo libre de contratiempos y maravillosa, George igualmente. En el Buffet la atención de Wander Matos, excepcional pasé mi cumpleaños allá y ha sido la mesa de desayuno más hermosa que he tenido. De las estaciones de Omelettes, los de July los mejores y más rápido, por lejos la mejor!! En el sector prestige de la playa Randy los mejores cocktails con y sin alcohol, alguien que se ve disfruta su trabajo y se agradece. Kenny siempre manteniendo impecable todo en el mismo sector y con amabilidad. En el Spa Mimosa los mejores masajes de relajación. De los Concierge Yomairia, muy atenta. Los shows todos buenísimos y las actividades del StarCamp un lujo de lindas, todos los tíos y tías amorosos. Ahora aspectos a mejorar y donde de nota la diferencia con otros hoteles, variedad de comidas, es buena calidad pero muy poco variada y muchos días al almuerzo se acaban las carnes u otras cosas. Casi no tienen productos sin gluten y al solicitarlos se demoran mucho. Falta un sector prestige en el buffet de almuerzo. Y un extra, el tour Klub Saona es pésimo, no pierda su dinero ni tiempo.

El hotel en lineas generales esta muy bien, la limpieza de las habitaciones muy bien y a diario con reposición de frigobar, la atención de los mozos y personal del bar en general tienen muuuy poca onda, salvo excepciones, la animación durante el dia es bastante aburrida y tampoco le ponen onda los animadores, la musica de la pileta divertida! hay bares cerca de todo eso esta bueno y el restaurante de playa es muy bueno. La comida me gustó, no tenia todo el mismo sabor y había variedad y las islas muy prolijas siempre. si tendría algo que criticar es que quizás hacen falta mas mozos para la atención de las bebidas en la noche. Faltan tachos de basura a lo largo del hotel, Los shows nocturnos estan buenos! La venta de los concierges son re pesados, nosotros la hicimos por el regalo, perdimos toda una mañana, pero nos regalaron un snorkel de 3hs que estuvo bueno!

Comenté antes! Igualmente refuerzo cayó muchísimo la calidad y variedad de alimentos...y la cava de vinos es muy...pero muy...pero muy mala? A no pésima...! Ahora también quiero remarcar cosas muy buenas y positivas. Limpieza habitaciones, lugares comunes y la playa, de las mejores con red para contener el sargazo. Seguridad, otro ítem a destacar. Y sobre todo ya lo dije anteriormente pero quiero remarcar...el personal sumamente predispuesto, muy amables, educados y resolutivo, zona de playa, bares, restos, gym, en fin en cada área. Me pareció honesto destacarlo.

I find the personnel very moody and even aggressive. I’ve been to dozens of Caribbean islands and have never seen this before. They almost never bring your drinks during dinner, unless you are drinking the house wine, and even then it’s hit or miss. Same with water. At the non reservable restaurants and particularly during lunch, there is no service at all. You ask for drinks, they say yes and they never bring them. There is absolutely no service at the beach or pool, just a couple of bars that you have to get in line for drinks, even sodas. There are four reservable restaurants, but you cannot reserve before arriving and you can only reserve 4 days in advance, so that’s just false advertising? We managed to make a reservation at a non-reservable restaurant as we were a large group. The reservation was for 7:15 (after 70 minutes of painfully having to give the person at the desk every single room number). When we got there they told us they needed to change it to 9:15. That particular restaurant was 100% empty other than us. We didn’t badge. We ate but drink service was once again non-existent. They do clean the beach every day from sargasso and they don’t let it smell, but be aware that there is plenty of it.

El hotel es hermoso, muy buena comida, mucha variedad, lo que no me agradó mucho es que nunca había coca cola zero en los buffet ( hay varias máquinas dispensadoras donde tú te puedes ir a servir por tu propia cuenta y siempre salía agua.) luego el personal del buffet principal hispaniola, muchos de los mozos que había no brindan el servicio a la mesa, solamente una moza que era espectacular lamentablemente no me puedo acordar de su nombre su lugar de trabajo siempre era en la entrada del buffet a la derecha, era tan espectacular que su lugar siempre estaba muy lleno! A la gente le gusta que le atiendan bien. Y por último, te ofrecen regalos de bienvenida pero lo que no te dicen es que para acceder a ello tenes que ir a un recorrido de membresía. Perdes 2 horas de tu estadía para ganarte el supuesto regalo. Te lo dicen en el momento en que te pasan a buscar por ende no podes hacer nada… simplemente comerte el garrón para no ser grosera.
