Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner au LUX* à Maurice et, sans hésiter, c’est l’un des plus beaux hôtels que nous ayons connus. Nous voyageons beaucoup et avons séjourné dans de nombreux établissements de grande qualité à travers le monde. Pourtant, celui-ci occupe désormais une place toute particulière dans notre cœur. Le cadre est tout simplement exceptionnel : un véritable coin de paradis où tout est beau, élégant et parfaitement entretenu. Mais ce qui rend cet hôtel vraiment unique, ce sont les personnes qui y travaillent. Du premier au dernier jour, nous avons été accueillis avec une gentillesse, une bienveillance et un professionnalisme remarquables. Chaque serveur, chaque membre du personnel, chaque manager, chaque employé nous a fait sentir comme des invités privilégiés. Leur sourire, leur disponibilité et leur sincère envie de faire plaisir transforment un magnifique séjour en une expérience inoubliable. Nous nous sommes sentis choyés, presque comme des rois, et cela avec une simplicité et une authenticité qui deviennent rares. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour ces vacances extraordinaires. Vous avez créé des souvenirs que nous garderons longtemps. Une seule chose nous manque déjà : revenir au plus vite pour revivre ces instants de bonheur dans ce lieu aussi paradisiaque que chaleureux. LUX* Grand Baie is a modern and incredibly Instagram-worthy resort. Every corner is beautifully designed. However, it feels like appearance was prioritized over quality. Behind the beautiful design, the construction and finishing leave a lot to be desired, which is surprising for such a new resort. Our room had a noticeable sewage smell, especially in the bathroom. Even more surprisingly, the door lock was broken when we arrived. On our first day, the hotel placed a security guard outside our room because the door couldn't be locked properly. While we appreciated how seriously they took our safety, it wasn't the best way to start a vacation in such luxury hotel. The lock was eventually repaired, but afterward the door only closed properly if it was slammed very hard. The beach is beautiful, the Asian restaurant is excellent, and the food in the main restaurant is good. The staff were friendly, remembered our names, and housekeeping was consistently excellent. The only thing that noticeably affected the atmosphere was the large number of Russian tourists during our stay. They were often very loud, especially on the beach, with shouting and loud conversations that made it difficult to enjoy the peaceful setting we were looking for. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is visually stunning, the service is excellent, and the staff genuinely care about their guests. However, for a luxury five-star resort, I expected much better attention to construction quality and maintenance. With those issues addressed, this would be an outstanding hotel.

My fiancé and I had a fabulous time at Lux Grand Baie! From the moment we checked in, every staff member made us feel special and taken care of. They even upgraded our room to help us celebrate our engagement. The room was stunning and spacious. One evening, Jennifer, the events coordinator, sent us champagne and dessert, and housekeeping made the bed extra special for us by spelling out love in plants and rose petals. It really made our stay even more memorable. At the main bar by the pool, our bartender Ninti (I apologize if I don't remember the exact spelling of his name), kept the drinks coming and made the most delicious cocktails. We went to the Mediterranean and Chinese restaurants and both had excellent service and delicious meals. There was also a saxophone player and a live band, which were both phenomenal. When we go back to Mauritius, we will definitely stay here longer.

We stayed at LUX* Grand Baie for 5 nights in a two-bedroom residence with a private pool on a half-board package. The residence itself was excellent—very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a modern yet cozy feel. It was perfect for a family stay, and the private pool added a nice touch of privacy and relaxation. The beach is sandy and pleasant, while the rooftop lounge has a great atmosphere and serves one of the better shishas we’ve had at a resort. That said, there were a few drawbacks. Our residence overlooked the street rather than the resort or the ocean, so the view wasn’t particularly appealing. The half-board package was also somewhat restrictive, with dining limited to one main restaurant and the rooftop tapas venue. Compared to the beaches in the south of Mauritius, especially around Le Morne, the water here wasn’t as crystal clear. We also found Grand Baie’s weather to be noticeably cooler during our stay than the warmer, sunnier conditions in the southwest. Overall, LUX* Grand Baie is a stylish, luxurious resort with fantastic accommodation and a great ambiance. If you value modern design, comfort, and being close to Grand Baie’s vibrant atmosphere, it’s an excellent choice. However, if your priority is the clearest turquoise water and consistently warmer weather, the south of Mauritius may have the edge.

LUX Grand Baie was an absolute amazing experience. The staff were extremely friendly and polite and they were very attentive to all our needs and requests. The room was very spacious and spotless clean. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was one of the biggest that we have seen in a hotel room. The view from our room was spectacular looking at the beach which was beautiful with white sand and blue waters. The facilities ranging from the restaurants, the bars, the shop and the spa were exceptional. The highlight though of the hotel was the grand lobby which featured soaring ceilings and great architecture which allowed natural light and ventilation. Overall we will definitely recommend LUX Grand Baie and we would definitely go back.

**Masterful Service Recovery & Stunning Modern Luxury!** We stayed 4 nights for our anniversary. Arrival was initially stressful due to a check-in mix-up where our booking was logged under our travel agent’s name, causing an hour-long delay. However, Room Manager Mr. Umesh stepped in and completely turned everything around. He took total ownership of the situation, personally ensured we were placed in a great room as per our reservation, and tracked our happiness daily. He made our stay incredibly enjoyable and memorable, arranging wonderful anniversary touches including a romantic dinner facing the beach and a private breakfast. His leadership was exceptional. The personal service was outstanding. Our butler, Mr. Gerrard, was incredibly thoughtful, managing our needs flawlessly even on his day off. Gael from guest relations was also fantastic, seamlessly guiding us to our room where all our luggage had already been perfectly moved behind the scenes. The facilities are world-class. The gym team is highly professional and attentive, while the massive thermal spa (sauna/steam room) is beautifully decorated with a state-of-the-art relaxation area. The adults-only Bisou Rooftop pool and lounge are absolute paradise with staggering lagoon views. Walima (Moroccan) was also excellent. For critiques, the Beach Rouge breakfast buffet (pastries, smoothies, juices) is top-tier, but the hot à la carte breakfast items and the beach dinner flavors need improvement to match the five-star setting. Overall, a beautiful resort with an elite management team that genuinely knows how to take care of its guests!
