We spent just one night at Paradise Cove at the beginning of our holiday. The room was comfortable enough but the food pretty average. We ate at the buffet restaurant which was mostly curries and a rather odd selection of cold starters. Service was very good and the serving staff very friendly. Breakfast was not included which I find incredible in 2026 when you’re staying at a 5 star hotel and paying top prices. Sookah the friendly porter collected our luggage and met us at our car. Our two new suitcases (bought only 8 days prior to our stay) were completely scratched and damaged! Sookah showed us that the luggage trolley had caused this as the mat didn't fit correctly and therefore the suitcases had been dragged across sharp metal edges! We asked to speak to somebody and Alison from customer services came to us. Sookah again told us and Alison the reason for the damage. We said we expected compensation of some sort but in WhatsApp messages since then she has denied any wrong doing. These messages have since disappeared as she has a default timer set. This is simply not good enough. We expect some sort of compensation

As someone who works in the ultra luxury hotel industry, my expectations are naturally and perhaps unfairly high. I understand the magic behind the curtain, which often makes it harder for me to truly switch off and be impressed. However, Paradise Cove didn't just meet my standards; they reminded me why I fell in love with this industry in the first place. The service here is exemplary. It strikes that rare, perfect balance: incredibly attentive without being intrusive. The team delivers a level of highly personalized service that many larger brands claim to offer but rarely execute with such heart. You aren’t just a room number here; you are a recognized and valued guest. A special shoutout to Sandhya and the entire team for their dedication. Their warmth and professionalism truly define the guest experience here and ensure that every detail is handled with care. The All Inclusive concept is elegantly executed. Forget the clichés of mass market all inclusive; here, it is curated, sophisticated, and seamless. It feels like a private club where everything is handled with grace. A special mention must go to the F&B quality, which is frankly outstanding. In a sector where dining can often feel repetitive, the culinary team here consistently delivers excellence, from the freshness of the ingredients to the thoughtful presentation and sophisticated flavor profiles. If you are looking for a sanctuary that understands the nuances of true luxury, look no further. This is boutique hospitality at its very best. To the entire team: Bravo. We cannot wait to return.

Das Hotel ist im eher ruhigeren Teil der Insel gelegen. Wenig Verkehr, wenig Trubel. Perfekte Voraussetzungen für Entspannung. Habe ich zumindest gedacht! Am öffentlichen Strand neben dem Hotel stehen die Einheimischen am Wochenende aber mit ihren Autos. Die Musikanlagen sind so kräftig, dass man im Hotel kein Auge zumacht durch den Bass. Feuerwerk wurde bei uns auch mitten in der Nacht abgefeuert. Die eigene Mini-Bucht in der Hotelanlage sieht auf den Fotos traumhaft aus. Und auch vor Ort staunt man auf den ersten Blick. Der auf Instagram so toll fotografierte Salzwasser-Pool ist aber bei uns im Januar leer gewesen. Und man wundert sich, warum niemand in der Bucht schwimmt. Bis man selber mal ans Wasser geht. Es ist braun und man sieht keinen Boden. Wassertiefe geschätzt 1,20-1,50m. Richtung Bucht-Ausgang wird es steinig. Daher gehen die Gäste fast ausschließlich im Pool schwimmen. Dort hat man einen Getränke-Bringservice. Leider ist der nicht wirklich zuverlässig. Bei uns kam mehrfach keiner. Bis man sich beschwert hat. Da stand der Manager schneller an der eigenen Liege, als der Kellner. Ab dem Tag an, waren wir auf einem Fahndungsplakat. Sogar die Reinigungskraft des Zimmers hat sich plötzlich persönlich vorgestellt. Mega unangenehm und aufdringlich. Die Reinigung vom Fußboden im Zimmer wurde trotzdem nicht besser. Schwarze Füße inklusive. Die Klima im Hotel-Zimmer tropfte auf den Boden. Ein Restaurant-Team-Leiter - der am Tag der Beschwerde für den Pool Bereich verantwortlich war - hat sich persönlich angegriffen gefühlt und damit auch nicht hinter dem Berg gehalten. Statt sich konstruktive Kritik anzunehmen, reagierte er beleidigt änderte sein Verhalten. Top Reaktion! Im Hotel gibt es 4 Restaurants. The Cove ist nur für All-Inklusive Gäste. Das Dining-Room ist das Standard-Restaurant - hier gibt es auch das Frühstück. Hier liefen Ameisen im Zucker-Topf rum (siehe Video). Dann gibt es noch das XO - ein Sushi Restaurant. Das vierte Restaurant heißt Peninsula. Man sollte in allen Restaurants - außer The Dining-Room - definitiv immer mit Tisch-Reservierungen arbeiten. Im Peninsula hatten wir Besuch von Kakerlaken (siehe Foto). In diesem Restaurant hat man sich dann am Rindfleisch auch 2 Tage vor Abreise den Magen verdorben, inklusive Übergeben. Die beiden Kellner im Peninsula (Herr Rajesh & Frau ?) waren hingegen das Beste am Hotel. Wirklich von Herzen freundlich. Das will hier ich erwähnen - denn die beiden haben sich tatsächlich große Mühe gegeben. Ansonsten ist das Hotel definitiv keine 5-Sterne Klasse und ich würde es auch niemandem weiterempfehlen.

Thank you for a fantastic stay :) the best vacation we ever had , Great food , great drinks. Pool areas was very nice. Service was perfect all the time. We cerebrated our 10 wedding anniversary at The Cove restaurant , abselutely PERFECT. A man who worked by the Pool , i think his name was Manoj who had been working there 34 years , please send him our best regards. He took wery good care of us our whole stay. I think he have a bithday tomorrow 25/2. If you say hellow from `Sparkeling Wine Rose` i think he remember us :) We also took a Private Catamaran cruise called You & Me sunset cruise , Abselutely Perfect. I could write much more but once again thank you so much for the best vacation ever. Alexander & Lene

★★★★★ Une parenthèse exceptionnelle au Paradise Cove Notre séjour au Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel a été tout simplement magnifique. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été séduits par le cadre paradisiaque, l’atmosphère intime et raffinée de l’hôtel, ainsi que par l’extrême gentillesse de l’ensemble du personnel. Tout est pensé pour que l’on se sente bien : les magnifiques jardins, les différents espaces de détente, les piscines, le lagon et cette ambiance paisible qui fait véritablement oublier le quotidien. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la qualité du service et l’attention portée aux détails. Chaque membre du personnel est souriant, disponible et attentionné, toujours avec beaucoup de naturel et de discrétion. La restauration est également à la hauteur, avec des plats variés, savoureux et une belle mise en valeur des produits et des saveurs de l’île Maurice. Le Paradise Cove porte vraiment bien son nom : un véritable petit coin de paradis. C’est un hôtel à taille humaine où l’on ressent une vraie âme, loin de l’ambiance impersonnelle des grands complexe. Nous souhaitons adresser une mention toute particulière à l’équipe des serveurs de la plage, qui a été formidable durant notre séjour au Paradise Cove. Un immense merci à Sandeep, pour son service absolument impeccable, son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse. Toujours souriant, attentif et disponible, il anticipe les besoins avec beaucoup de discrétion et veille à ce que chaque moment passé à la plage soit parfait. Son sens du service et son attention aux détails sont vraiment remarquables. Sandeep représente parfaitement ce que l’on peut attendre d’un service hôtelier de grande qualité. Bravo également à toute l’équipe de la plage pour son accueil, sa bonne humeur et son dévouement. Merci Sandeep et merci à toute l’équipe pour ces merveilleux moments ! I *loved* my stay at Paradise Cove. This was my second trip to Mauritius but this was just a short two-night stay whilst in transit from the UK to Australia. I booked Paradise Cove for two days of pure relaxation and I couldn't be happier with that choice. The location is beautiful, the resort is lovely and small and quiet, the rooms big and luxurious, and the staff are incredible. They have managed to find that rare sweet spot of being high luxury but without being over the top or sickly like some high end hotels/resorts. I was especially impressed by my arrival when I arrived in the morning feeling not so fresh a long flight and slow taxi ride from the airport but was greeted at the door by name(!), my bags were taken care off, and I was offered to enjoy the breakfast buffet whilst they got my room ready early (which had also been upgraded, I think due to my hotels.com status perks). I had a leisurely breakfast and then sat overlooking the pool and palm trees for about before someone came to collect me and take me to my room (about 90 mins after I arrived, which given it was still only 11am was amazing). That was exactly what I needed in that moment and could not have been better. So many other hotels could learn from this! This is very much a couples resort, but there were a couple of small groups of families with adult children. The staff seemed a little surprised that I was there on my own so I don't think they get many solo travellers through! I have a couple of allergies and the team understood this and were extra helpful and careful in making sure I knew what I could eat. As it was only a short stay, I didn't get to try all of the things on offer. I did have an excellent tennis sparring session with Hugues, the tennis coach (you can also have coaching, I just wanted someone to hit with). He was good fun and a great player. If I'd had longer I would have liked to have had a treatment at the spa and gone on the snorkel trip. Tips: there were a lot of mosquitos and I went home with 10 bites, so definitely bring strong bug spray with you and antihisthamines if you react to bites. They weren't a problem during the day out by the pool, but before about 9am and after 4pm they were out in force. The staff said the mozzies seem to be worse this year. The yoga/pilates are outside in a beautiful spot but I had to leave half way through the (great) yoga class as I was getting eaten alive. Same at dinner, I ended up wearing trousers and a jumper to protect myself as the dining is outside (luckily it was cool enough for long sleeves and trousers!). ((Note: this is not a complaint for the hotel, they can't control the mosquitos, just a tip for other travellers)). An effusive 5 stars from me. If I'm back in Mauritius, I'll be back here.
