Royal Blue has been my go-to hotel in Dubrovnik for years. Every time I come to Dubrovnik, I stay here, and I have never been disappointed. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the views are amazing, and the food is excellent. What I especially appreciate is the staff — always friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming. I always feel at home here, which is exactly why I keep coming back year after year. Highly recommended! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Dubrovnik.

Le Royal Blue a été notre coup de cœur lors de notre séjour à Dubrovnik. Le complexe Royal Resort possède une histoire intéressante. Développé progressivement sur la péninsule de Babin Kuk, il réunit aujourd’hui plusieurs hôtels haut de gamme partageant les mêmes infrastructures, tout en conservant chacun leur identité. Le Royal Blue en constitue la partie la plus récente et la plus contemporaine. Dès l’arrivée, on est frappé par la qualité des installations et l’entretien irréprochable des lieux. La chambre est élégante, confortable et bénéficie d’une vue exceptionnelle sur l’Adriatique. La literie est excellente et l’ensemble inspire immédiatement le repos. Le véritable point fort de l’établissement est sans doute sa magnifique piscine sur le toit, réservée aux adultes. La vue y est tout simplement exceptionnelle et l’atmosphère particulièrement paisible. Les autres piscines du resort sont également très agréables, même si elles sont partagées avec les autres hôtels du complexe. Le petit-déjeuner mérite une mention spéciale. Les produits sont de qualité et la terrasse face à la mer rend ce moment encore plus agréable. Quelques réserves toutefois. Les restaurants du resort affichent des tarifs particulièrement élevés. Nous avons tout de même testé le restaurant Vista : la nourriture y est très bonne et bien cuisinée, mais le service le soir est particulièrement expéditif, sans pain ni proposition de dessert — l’addition arrive rapidement et l’expérience se termine un peu abruptement. Par ailleurs, pour rejoindre la vieille ville, le mieux reste le bus, notamment la ligne 6, pratique et régulière. En résumé, le Royal Blue est un établissement élégant, parfaitement entretenu et idéal pour profiter de Dubrovnik dans un cadre reposant. Entre la qualité de ses prestations, son rooftop exceptionnel et son remarquable petit-déjeuner, c’est une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter.

very nice and beautiful hotel in the best location with excellent views and services. The rooms are large and clean, although the curtains were a bit old and not very clean. The breakfast was excellent with a very good and diverse selection, and the pool facilities, especially the rooftop pool, were great. The hotel staff were very good and kind, and their behavior was excellent, especially Mr. Zaharijt , for whom I am very grateful. It was a wonderful experience, thank you 😊

Lovely hotel, actually one of 5 hotels in the same group, so you can use all of the facilities in the group. Lots of pools?, restaurants and bars! Maybe the food is a bit samey in the restaurants, but thus doesn't hugely detract.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is superb. Classy and impeccably clean. It has the most beautiful sea views and sunsets. We had a Seaview king room which was worth it purely for the sunny balcony to enjoy such a view out. Stunning location. We walked so much, it's a lovely area to explore. MAGGIE the jet2 rep was wonderful, very knowledgeable and talked us through the local map and area which was so helpful. We walked into Lapad along the promenade which is delightful. We also walked to Copacabana Beach and found lots of beautiful bays and coves to explore. We also walked to Dubrovnik, it took about 45 to 50mins and saw lots of interesting scenery along the way and lovely bakeries and coffee stops. The hotel is large with sister properties all in a line, all the pools were quite popular but the rooftop adult only one had the best views and quieter with more space,we only discovered it on our last few hours before leaving so we wished we had found it sooner. The seawater pool by the rocks was very very cold but nice sunny terrace area to relax without too many people. Large Complex so it doesnt feel like it's busy or overcrowded. Welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch. Food was great. We only had breakfast which was plentiful and lots of choice, fresh and appealing. Fresh fruit, meats, salads, cooked varieties and omelettes. Prosecco. We wished we had booked half board as its quite expensive to eat out locally. Our Room had a minibar and coffee station. Robes and slippers. We had a birthday celebration and the hotel kindly gave us a voucher for cake and prosecco which was a lovely touch. The hotel overall was luxury and special. Really high class and very memorable. We would love to come back one day as the area ticked all our boxes and needs. Just perfect.

Nice 5* hotel, before season most of the things closed so I had to use all facilities from nearby hotel. Nice big rooms with great bathroom and huge balcony. Small swimming pool but nice saunas area with available water/tea. Breakfast with everything available but no changes to warm things, so after few days kinda boring. Scrambled eggs with added milk/water a big minus. Good coffee. Lovely access to promenade in front of the hotel to walk near the sea, accessible for wheelchair or prams. Restaurants and bars on a way. Little far from city centre but great bus connections, available in front of hotel. Tickets for bus to buy in bus (more expensive) or in tisak (small shops around for return trip). Fully recommend and not bad price (before season). Easy access by taxi from airport (30 minutes drive).
