The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained with excellent sea views. The pool area is fantastic and connects directly to the beach, making it perfect for relaxation. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Food options are diverse and delicious, featuring fresh seafood and a great mix of local and international cuisines. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful beach vacation close to the airport!

I had a wonderful experience at Goldi Sands Hotel, Negombo. The beachfront location is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful, welcoming, and relaxing. The service was professional and attentive, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The food and breakfast buffet were enjoyable, with a good variety of choices. The pool area and direct access to the beach also added to the overall experience. The hotel offers a great combination of comfort, hospitality, and a beautiful coastal setting. I would definitely consider staying at Goldi Sands Hotel again and would be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant beachfront stay in Negombo.

We recently stayed at Goldi Sands Hotel in Negombo, and unfortunately, our experience was not as good as expected. The dinner buffet starts at 7:30 p.m. Since our baby could not wait until that time, we requested a baby meal at around 6:00 p.m. We were asked to pay an additional charge for it. I have stayed at several other hotels before, and this was the first time I experienced an additional charge for a simple baby meal. I am not sure about the hotel's policy, but based on my previous experiences, I expected better consideration for families with babies. Another serious concern was that our baby was attacked by a crow inside the hotel premises while he was near the swimming pool. The baby had a small wound, so we went to the front office and asked for first aid. We were told that they could only provide Dettol plasters. We were also told that if we needed medicine, we could go to the nearby Food City and get it ourselves. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better assistance when a guest's child was injured inside the hotel premises. There was also an incident just before the dinner buffet opened. Around 7:20 p.m., some foreign guests with children were already inside the buffet area because their children were hungry. A staff member asked them to leave, and they left their food plates behind despite other staff members asking them to wait. It was disappointing to see that the hotel could not accommodate hungry children for even a few minutes before the official buffet opening time. Overall, these experiences made our stay disappointing. I hope the management will look into how families with children are treated and improve the hotel's response to minor emergencies involving children. A little flexibility and better customer care would make a big difference.

We stayed one night and it was wonderful. Our room had everything we needed and an amazing view of the ocean! The staff where friendly and very helpful and they kept the hotel clean and beautifully maintained. We also really loved the breakfast, it is buffet style and they provide soo many choices! Everything was fresh and very tasty. I would definitely stay at Goldi Sands again!

Our stay at the hotel was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist us. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, which made our stay very pleasant. I would especially like to appreciate the cleaning staff for their excellent service when it came to maintaining the rooms. The cleaning was perfectly done and it was clear to see the dedication and commitment they had towards their duties. I also noticed how seriously they carried out their responsibilities without ever compromising on the quality of their work. The food was also great and we thoroughly enjoyed the variety and taste throughout our stay. Most importantly, the hard work and dedication shown by every member of the hotel staff in their respective roles made our holiday run smoothly and enjoyably. Their teamwork and professionalism truly made a difference in our overall experience. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we truly appreciate the hospitality extended to us.
