My stay was pleasant overall, and the hotel has a great beachfront location with friendly staff. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. During busy periods, the service was slower than expected, which affected the overall experience. The room was comfortable, but some maintenance is needed to keep it in the best condition. The buffet was good, but the variety was somewhat limited on the day of my visit. With improvements in these areas, the hotel could provide an even better guest experience.

This is disappointing, as guest feedback should be an opportunity to acknowledge mistakes and improve, rather than remove negative experiences from public view. Disappointing Experience at Earl’s Regent Beruwala We recently visited Earl’s Regent Beruwala with our family. Although the hotel has a nice environment and the food was tasty, our overall experience was disappointing, especially considering its 4-star rating. Room Experience When we entered our room, the floor was very wet. After informing reception, we were initially advised to set the air conditioner to 16°C instead of having someone inspect the issue. It took several follow-ups and around one hour for housekeeping to attend to it. This reflects a lack of proper service coordination. Restaurant Experience The food was good, and most restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. However, I found a stapler pin inside a muffin, which could have caused serious harm, especially to a child. The supervisor and chef apologized. We chose not to make a bigger issue of it, but this was a serious food safety concern that management should address. Swimming Pool Experience After spending time at the beach, we washed ourselves properly before going to the swimming pool. However, we were told that we could not enter because of possible sand and later because of sea salt. We would have understood this restriction if it had been clearly displayed in the pool rules or communicated to guests beforehand. Unfortunately, we could not find any such notice. Overall Experience Our main concern is not with individual staff members but with the management and the systems in place to ensure a good guest experience. The room service delay, food safety issue, and unclear pool restrictions suggest that better supervision, communication, and service standards are needed. The hotel has potential, and the restaurant staff were generally pleasant. However, we expected a much better level of service and organisation from a 4-star hotel. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

We had a really wonderful stay here. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, super friendly and always willing to help. They happily fulfilled all of our requests, which made our stay even more comfortable. The front office team deserves a special mention they were very professional, friendly and genuinely helpful. Check-in was smooth and fast, with no unnecessary waiting. The location is another big plus. It’s very calm and peaceful, a perfect place to relax and enjoy some real freedom and quiet time. The bar was also great, with a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The food was tasty and enjoyable. It would be even better if there were a little more variety in the food options, as that would make the overall dining experience even more special. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Great hospitality, friendly people, peaceful surroundings and excellent service. We would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you want to have some quality time with your family or friends, Earl’s Regent, Beruwala is a great choice. We had an absolute great stay by the beach. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating all our requests. The food to rooms to service to everything was so good. Special thanks to Dinuka who was handling our reservation for all the support given. Would recommend the place to anyone.

We chose this hotel for a relaxing family break, and it was just perfect. The rooms are clean, comfy, and well kept. We got room upgrade also.All public areas are spotless too very well maintained. The buffet was amazing with a tasty food. The live music made our evenings even better. The restaurant staff were super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Gihan and Dilakshi for always looking after us with a smile. And a big thank you to Manager Raj Mohan for personally checking on every guest. We truly enjoyed our stay and will come back again.
