A Dream Wedding Brought to Life by a World-Class Team - A special commendation from the bride and groom (Nipunika and Isuru) Hosting our wedding (Nipunika and Isuru) at The Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo on 5th June 2026 in the Balomaral was an absolute dream come true, far exceeding every expectation we had. From the very first walkthrough, the hotel delivered an unparalleled level of luxury, attentiveness, and professionalism that turned what could have been a stressful planning process into a beautiful experience. Every single aspect was executed to perfection, from the initial venue selection and the stunning hall layout to the meticulous curation of the buffet, which our guests absolutely loved. We want to give a special, heartfelt shoutout to our coordinator, Amritha De Silva. Amritha’s dedication was truly commendable, especially during our final alignment meeting. The way she seamlessly coordinated with the entire hotel team including the chef and the banquet manager ensured that everyone was perfectly aligned with our vision. Her leadership and attention to detail gave us complete peace of mind, allowing us to simply enjoy our big day. A massive thank you to Chaminda ( the operational manager for the event ) for his exceptional oversight. As the operational manager for the event, his ground execution was flawless, ensuring that everything behind the scenes ran like clockwork. We are incredibly grateful to the captain who handled the entire service team on the floor. Their leadership ensured the staff was attentive, swift, and highly professional throughout the entire celebration. I would like to thank for the entire team of the kingsburry hotel for their dedication, and for treating our special day .

Dear Chatmaine and the entire Kingsbury Team, ❤️✨ When we first started searching for the perfect hotel for our wedding, The Kingsbury immediately stood out to us. We had a vision of a beautiful white and champagne colour palette with a grand, royal feel, and you helped us bring that vision to life so perfectly. chatmaine, a very special thank you to you. ❤️ You were truly amazing throughout the entire journey. You gave us ideas, inspiration, guidance, and most importantly, you always stood by us and understood exactly what we wanted. You never complained about any of our crazy ideas and always helped us find a way to make them happen. From Day 1, and even our first honeymoon day and photos, everything was handled so beautifully. The hall, the atmosphere, the service, and the way everything came together with our decorations were simply perfect. Thank you for allowing us the freedom to bring our little dreams and magical ideas to life and for supporting us every step of the way. We had such a wonderful experience and created memories we will cherish forever. We came to Kingsbury few weeks before and stayed there at the 9th floor. When we came to the hotel me and my husband was so tired and we saw a few people waiting in the reception. Everyone is busy and my husband was so angry. A guy in suit escorted us to lounge in 9th floor and made the check in and helped us with luggages. He explained all facilities and card use. The cappuccino was superb. I forgot his name. He and his manager in the lounge is so helpful throughout we stayed . There is no business lounge so they assisted us to use the lounge and helped us in printout and many more, me and husband can't walk and we are old. The ocean food court roast paan was mouth watering amazing authentic dish. We came to see our grand kids and it was really wonderful, we couldn't explore more ! Some good and bad are there but service is wholehearted. Thanks everyone. We will come once again.

We had a wonderful experience at The Kingsbury Hotel. The food was delicious, and the warm welcome from the team made our visit even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Captain Abdullah and the team at the Victorian Hall for their exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and attentive service. They truly made our experience memorable. We look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended!

We had lunch at the Kingsbury hotel lunch buffet and had a great experience. The food selection was impressive with a wide variety of local and international dishes. Everything was fresh, well-presented, and replenished regularly. The mix seafood fry and the dessert selection were the highlight for us. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They cleared tables quickly, checked if we needed anything, and made us feel welcome. Specially sanali and the rest of the staff have been pleasant and helpful. Service was prompt even though the restaurant was full. The dining area was clean and comfortable. For the price, it was great value. Would definitely recommend .

We had a wonderful experience. Nilupul and Dain provided excellent service throughout our visit. They were friendly, attentive, and ensured that we were well looked after at all times. The food was delicious, and we received prompt attention at our table. Their hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience. Keep up the great work, Nilupul and Dain! Highly recommended.
