I’ve stayed at many peaceful hotels, but I can confidently say this is one of the most serene places I’ve ever visited. The comforting experience begins right away with a beautifully scenic, village-style reception and a traditional welcome with betel leaves. The property is perfectly situated close to Habarana Lake. The staff is incredibly friendly, always greeting guests with a warm smile. With the minor exception of one person at the main restaurant, the service was fantastic across the board. The food is satisfactory and made to a good standard. A major highlight for me was the stunning multi-layered swimming pool, which really enhances the overall view and aesthetic of the hotel. All in all, this is a wonderfully calm place to be if you want a peaceful getaway. Highly Recommended To-Do’s: Relax by the lake: The lake is incredibly peaceful. I highly recommend taking some time to just sit on one of the benches facing the water, put on some calming music, and simply reboot. It offers complete tranquility. Take a boat ride: You can easily book a boat ride through the hotel or directly with the boats at the lake. The ride is about an hour long and is absolutely worth it. (I’ve attached some pictures and videos of the ride to this review). Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind.

We had a wonderful stay at Habarana Village by Cinnamon. The overall experience was very pleasant, with a relaxing atmosphere and warm hospitality from the staff. A special thank you to Shashinika and Nayana for their excellent service during dinner. They were both very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Their genuine hospitality made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the great service and the effort the team put into making our stay memorable. Highly recommended! We would definitely love to visit again!

Spent an amazing 2 nights here! Honestly loved every bit of it! Just got back after a super relaxing 2-night getaway at Habarana Village by Cinnamon, and I can't recommend it enough. If you are looking for a place to just escape the daily grind, chill out, and connect with nature, this is the perfect spot. The entire property is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful greenery, and has the best vibe to just unwind. While the resort itself is stunning, what really made our stay stand out was the awesome hospitality. The staff here are genuinely warm, always smiling, and they make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. We had such a great time, but I really want to give a huge shout-out to a few amazing people who made our stay extra special: Asela (Front Office): Right from the moment we checked in, Asela made things so smooth and welcoming for us. Great first impression and super helpful throughout our stay! Wasantha and Sanath (HK): A massive thank you to both of them. They made sure our room service was absolutely flawless, everything arrived perfectly on time, exactly how we wanted it, cleanliness and with a lovely personal touch that made us feel right at home. Our room was kept absolutely spotless and fresh. These two did a fantastic job keeping everything clean, comfortable, and well-stocked for us, ensuring we had zero complaints. Saranga, Wimalaveera, & Menula(trainee) [Restaurant Team]: These three guys made our dining experiences so much fun! Every single mealtime was great because they were always serving us with the biggest smiles. They were super attentive, incredibly friendly, and constantly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Great energy all around! Definitely we will go back there.

We had a wonderful stay at Habarana Village by Cinnamon. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. A special thank you to Ms. Sachini for handling our reservation so efficiently, and to Mr. Indunil for his outstanding service in the dining area. Their hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the location was absolutely perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Highly recommended, and we look forward to visiting again!

This is by far the most relaxing place we stayed while exploring Sri Lanka. The atmosphere is calm and incorporating the nature environment is really nice. Really a place for rejuvenating your mind and body. Room a bit dated but they do maintain it very well. WiFi isn't stable - that's the downside. Big thanks to Mr. Deshan who oversees the dining room area. Blow away by his warm greeting during breakfast or dinner, giving personal attention to make sure the guests are happy, remembering personal preference in a short period of time, very detailed oriented and clear instructions to the staff members. Varieties of foods are abundant and tasty -- big thanks to the Chef,Thilanga & Junior sous chef, Suresh. They made sure there's always enough fresh food available at any time. This place truly emphasizes on a superior level of service from reception staff (Rashmi & Dehemi), room service staffs, security, porters, etc -- made our stay memorable. Thank you!!!!

We stayed for 2 nights, the only regret was why had we not booked for a longer stay. The location is great. The service was top notch. Special mention to Chef Perera - who took significant effort to ensure we were served delicious no onion, no garlic food in all meals.
