We stayed at Uga Jungle Beach for our honeymoon and had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special, and throughout our stay, there was truly nothing we could have wished for. The hotel is beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. It offers a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquility, while at the same time making you feel part of a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is stunning, and the recent renovation is clearly noticeable throughout the property. A very special mention goes to Mithila and the entire team. The service was exceptional from start to finish: attentive, warm, thoughtful and always delivered with a genuine smile. So many small details were taken care of effortlessly, often before we even had to ask. We also loved the dining concept. Breakfast is served à la carte rather than as a traditional buffet, which made the experience feel much more relaxed and personal. The menu offers a fantastic variety, and if there is ever something you would like that is not listed, the team does everything they can to accommodate special requests. Dinner features a changing five-course menu each evening, with allergies, intolerances and personal preferences handled with great care. Our room was serviced twice a day and again, it was the attention to the small details that stood out most. Everything felt beautifully maintained, fresh and considered. For our honeymoon, we could hardly have imagined a better place. We loved every moment and would return without hesitation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay at UGA Jungle Beach Our stay at UGA Jungle Beach was truly memorable. Before arriving, I was a little concerned about the à la carte dining concept, thinking food choices might be limited. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences, even beyond the standard menu. What impressed me most was the staff. From the management team to the supporting staff, everyone was exceptionally polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. Upon arrival, they provided a thorough orientation of the property and explained all available activities, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. The entire resort is beautifully balanced with nature and maintained to a very high standard. You can see the attention to detail everywhere. Thoughtful touches such as providing flashlights for night walks, outdoor water taps and washing areas to prevent beach sand from being brought into the rooms demonstrate how carefully every aspect of the guest experience has been considered. The surroundings are stunning, offering a perfect blend of jungle and beach. The swimming pool area is clean, well-maintained, and relaxing. Most importantly, privacy is carefully respected, allowing guests to truly unwind and enjoy the peaceful environment. UGA Jungle Beach is a wonderful destination for both local and international travelers looking for comfort, nature, excellent service, and a unique Sri Lankan hospitality experience. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Uga Jungle Beach. Our Beach cabin was modern with all luxurious amenities, spacious, and beautifully designed, with direct private access to the beach which made the whole experience feel exclusive and peaceful. 🏖️ The outdoor shower was a lovely touch and added to the tropical vibe. The staff are exceptionally professional, warm and genuinely caring and made us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped in to the resort. The beach itself was clean, calm, and incredibly peaceful which is perfect for a truly relaxing getaway. The food was exceptional, with impressive attention to detail and presentation. The Valentine’s Day special dinner menu was thoughtfully curated and beautifully executed and it really made our stay even more memorable. A special thank you to Mithila for taking such good care of us during breakfast and dinner on both days. She was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Highly recommend this resort if you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious beach escape.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Uga Jungle Beach. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt, das Essen ist excellent. Wir haben eine Balinese Massage im Spa genossen. Die verschiedenen Öle werden vor der Behandlung vorgestellt und man kann sich seinen Favorit auswählen. Auch kann man angeben, wo man gerne massiert wird und welche Körperteile ausgelassen werden sollen. Es war eine tolle Massage, sehr entspannend. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und für jeden ist etwas dabei, von porridge über chia pudding, alle möglichen Eier Speisen, süße Gerichte und klassische Gerichte aus Sri Lanka. Das Essen wird direkt an den Platz gebracht. Und alles hat köstlich geschmeckt. Ein Highlight sind auch die Tiere. Wir haben ein Krokodil gesehen, Affen beim Zähne putzen beobachtet und einige Sri-Lanka-Riesenhörnchen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen!!

Jungle Beach was a pleasure to stay at. It was very clean, beautifully designed, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Every member of the team was excellent! We loved the bed decoration for our first wedding anniversary, as well as the surprise cake waiting for us when we returned from our BBQ dinner. They added so many thoughtful little touches along the way that made our stay feel extra special. A special shout-out to Manoj, who looked after us at breakfast. He was friendly and attentive.

After 12 days in Sri Lanka i cannot imagine a better ending. When you arrive you dont feel like staying in a hotel, its an experience itself. You feel inside the heart of Sri Lanka. The pool is amazing, calm and relaxing. The beach is beautifull with a long walk to do while sunset. Beach and pool bar are incredible. The room also were stunning, lagoon view was peacefull. But most important, the crew. All the Uga team is amazing. You can see their complicity and good vibes and they shared those feelings with us. Always taking care of us, sharing conversations and laughs during meals and when relaxing time, paying attention in case we needed something. All the team, THANK YOU.
