Miluju tohle místo, chtěli jsme se ubytoval, bohužel nebylo volno. Přesto jsme navštívili přátelé, kteří byli ubytováni a moc se těšíme,že se sem vrátíme!

Der Service ist häufig freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber nicht immer. Einige Mitarbeiter sind aber auch nur mässig gut gelaunt. Grosses Kompliment an Oscar, Ben, Hamad, die einem immer mit einem ehrlichen Lächeln begrüssen! Das Serviceteam wirkt manchmal etwas unorganisiert. Wir mussten immer wieder an einem anderen Tisch sitzen und man achtete sich nicht auf einen persönlichen Kontakt oder darauf, wer was bestellte. Auch mühsam finden wir, dass wir jeden Abend die 0$ Quittung für das Abendessen unterschreiben mussten und häufig ca. 20min. darauf warten mussten. Wenn kein Tip gegeben wurde, war das Servicepersonal teilweise sichtbar verärgert. Service ist auch nicht immer aufmerksam und fragt nicht nach, wie das Essen war. Das Essen war qualitativ in Ordnung, auch das Buffet war umfangreich. Vorallem das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig. Schade ist, dass das Chef Menü am Abend häufig das Gleiche ist. Wir waren 10 Tage da und beim Chef Menü gab es jedesmal Kürbissuppe oder Beetroot. Vorallem für vegetarische Gäste war die Auswahl stets entweder Beetroot, Kürbis oder Risotto. Sehr langweilig! Es gab zudem nur eine Dessertoption. Ich finde Ice-Cream sollte es immer als Option geben. Die Gerichte schmecken sehr fade und wenn man längere Zeit hier ist, wird es langweilig. Das Zimmer wurde gut gereinigt und das 2x am Tag. Es war sauber im Hotel. Die Liegestühle sind allerding häufig schmutzig und das Personal am Beach könnte das Problem leicht beheben, da sie häufig nur dasitzen. Der Geruch im Zimmer ist leider schon etwas störend (modrig/feucht). Zudem sind die Zimmer sehr dunkel. Das Wimbi-Watersport Angebot ist gut. Man kann private Touren buchen. Sie sind dafür eher teuer, aber privat und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und fachkundig. Die Yoga-Stunden bei Anthony waren prima. Ich fände es cool, wenn man anstatt 3x Yoga pro Tag vielleicht einen anderen Kurs zur Abwechslung anbieten könnte. Das In- und Outdoorgym sind nicht in einem gutem Zustand. Die Yogamatten und Gymnastikbälle sind sehr schmutzig, zudem sind einige der Geräte defekt (Laufband, Kabelzug und Rudergerät). Alles in allem ist es in Ordnung und wir waren zufrieden, es ist aber kein 5-Sterne Standard.

So my husband and I came here for vacation and I will leave an honest review. The views on the beach were beautiful. The greenery is also very nice. The staff were fairly ok. What got me is the greed of this hotel. They charge for water $3.50 a bottle. Lunch also isn’t included. There’s so many little “additional charges” at this hotel for what were maybe per night all 3 meals should be included & considering most people are tourists here, water should also be free. I’m just surprised at the way this “luxury” hotel nickels and dimes people. We stayed at a luxe hotel in the Serengeti that was cheaper than this one and we had no additional charges ever and all 3 meals were included. They do serve American food but honestly they need a bit more training because it wasn’t very tasty. Not sure if I will stay here again for overall the stay was just subpar.

We spent a week at Zuri Zanzibar for our honeymoon, and it was a genuinely special experience from beginning to end. The resort itself is beautiful. The tropical gardens are incredibly well maintained, the bungalows feel private and spacious, and the beach is one of the best we experienced in Zanzibar. Being able to swim throughout the day without the tide retreating a long way was a major advantage, and the sunsets were spectacular. We also enjoyed the excellent pool, the variety of restaurants and bars, and the different dining experiences throughout the week, particularly the beach barbecue. However, the best thing about Zuri is undoubtedly its staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, friendly and attentive, and they made a real effort to make our honeymoon feel special. The service never felt forced or overly formal; people remembered us, took an interest in our stay and consistently went out of their way to look after us. A particular thank you must go to Hamad, who looked after us at the beach bar and at Upendo on Sunday; Prince, who took such good care of us at Upendo every evening; and Malik, who we met at the pool bar and who also looked after us brilliantly at both the beach barbecue and Upendo. We would also like to thank Aneth at the Bahari beach bar, Amri for looking after us during our evenings at the beach bar, and Rheama, who continued checking on us and making sure we were comfortable whilst enjoying the beach during the day. They were all excellent individually, but what impressed us most was how consistently kind and welcoming the entire team was throughout the resort. Zuri combines a stunning setting with excellent facilities, but it is the people who give the hotel its character and make it memorable. We left feeling that the staff had played a genuine part in making our honeymoon so special. Thank you to the whole Zuri team for an unforgettable week. We would strongly recommend the hotel, particularly for couples looking for a relaxing and memorable honeymoon in Zanzibar.

Operational Excellence Maintaining this standard on an island in Tanzania is a massive logistical achievement. The property is spotless, and the effort required to keep the grounds so well-manicured and the staff so well-trained justifies the upscale price point. The Rooms We are usually quite picky when it comes to resort rooms, but Room 65 was excellent. It is well-maintained and provides the right balance of comfort and privacy. Culinary & Drinks The food is a step above typical resort fare. The set dinners are comparable to a Michelin Bib Gourmand level, while the buffets are a solid, upscale average. A great touch: all coffee specialties (made with a professional espresso machine/Siebträger) and still/sparkling water are provided free of charge. Infrastructure & Service • Water: High-grade filtration makes the tap water safe for brushing teeth—a rare and functional luxury. • Security: Staff effectively keeps the beach exclusive to guests; we felt safe at all times. • Staff: Truly welcoming hospitality. Special thanks to Hamad & Rafael—you guys rocked! • Vibe: Focused on "deceleration" (Yoga, fire shows, rainy-day pop-ups). The beach is aesthetically perfect. Minor External Notes If you are looking for "the hair in the soup," there are a few things the hotel cannot influence: the neighboring RIU hotels have audible entertainment (usually stopping by midnight), there is regular boat traffic out on the water, and mosquitoes are a reality once you leave the beach.

"ráj na zemi..." nejkrásnější resort v lokalitě... bohužel ale skvělou lokalitu ruší vedlejší hlučný hotel & více méně stále běžící agregáty na výrobu el.proudu... stejně tak přístup zdejšího plážového servisu /bar & restaurace/ ve stylu "hakuna matata" - prostě je jim to i za přítomnosti managmentu jedno..., ale zvyknete si... ;-)
