An incredible place to truly unwind and find peace. ❤️ Everything about Alila feels special. Every detail: from the rooms and lobby to the stairways, pool, and restaurant has been thoughtfully designed. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, breakfast, and lunch, as well as a relaxing massage and so calming sound healing session. Walking along the Butterfly Trail was another unforgettable experience. The view from the cliff is simply breathtaking 😍 This resort stands out from every other hotel I’ve visited. A heartfelt thank you to every member of the Alila team for your warm welcome and exceptional hospitality. Thank you for such memorable experience!

This is no ordinary hotel; it's an exceptional resort in every sense. Luxurious stone-style accommodations perched on the edge of the Green Mountain at an altitude of 2400 meters above sea level. The service is outstanding, the food is divine, and the chef is extraordinary. The views are breathtaking and captivating. The place is truly amazing in every sense of the word. Very Disappointing Experience After Driving 2.5 Hours from Muscat We drove approximately 2.5 hours all the way from Muscat specifically to visit this property, so this experience was extremely disappointing. Having travelled to 44 countries around the world and stayed at many hotels and resorts, I was genuinely surprised by the policy we encountered here. We wanted the opportunity to visit the hotel and experience it through a day pass before deciding whether to book a full stay. My wife is seven months pregnant, and one of the main reasons we made the long journey was to experience the yoga/sunshine session and spend some relaxing time at the property. Unfortunately, we were not even allowed to enter or purchase a day pass. After driving 2.5 hours, we expected at least some understanding or a reasonable option for visitors interested in experiencing the property before committing to a full stay. Instead, we were simply turned away. For a hospitality property, especially one that attracts guests travelling from Muscat and other areas, I believe the visitor policy should be communicated much more clearly in advance. Had we known that there was absolutely no possibility of entry or a day pass, we would never have made such a long journey. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a relaxing experience for my pregnant wife turned into a very disappointing and frustrating trip.

A stunning property with unique views! We had amazing archery and stargazing experiences thanks to Arun! He was fantastic - he showed us Venus and the moon's craters through the telescope, and even helped us take breathtaking long-exposure photos with our own phones. I also love that two BMW destination chargers are available on-site. I came in an ICE vehicle this time, but seeing this makes me strongly consider driving an EV next time! The indoor pool is a wonderful addition for those who are sensitive to the sun. Highly recommended, especially in the summer - it is a great opportunity to escape the scorching heat of the UAE and sea-level Oman.

Let’s just say that my stay in Alila Jabal Akdhar will be unforgettable. First I would like to give special thanks to Putri, I communicated with her first and she helped ensure I chose the right room and was very insightful and helpful. Also she managed to make the perfect birthday arrangements in the room. And entire stay, she was always accepting our requests. I booked the Jabal horizon Room, which was so cozy and with a balcony and access to the cliff, I would highly recommend it. The dinner was also a great experience, dined at rose lounge, and was served by the excellent Salman. Who was the right person to greet us and recommend us with food that we enjoyed a lot. And also special thanks to the entire staff that night who made another birthday surprise which was very unexpected made us feel at home. Special thanks to Arga and Ati. And don’t miss the stargazing session with the astronomer Arun. This is a takeaway moment in our stay and made us so eager and learn more about astronomy. Arun was very eager to show us the lovely stargazing views from the mountain. And also special thanks to the Chef Pankaj, Miraj for being our waiter for breakfast and Honeybee. And Jamal for the mocktail expertise activity for the great Jabal rose drinks. Finally, it is not enough to express how great this experience was, the ambience, peacefulness, amazing valley views, and the friendliest staff. Is enough for a memorable night in Alila Jabal Akdhar.
