If you get Bruno to check you in and be your receptionist you have pretty much hit the jackpot. The rooms were quite nice, a bit humid and the interior rooms are a bit rough to be honest. No daylight and no where to dry your swuimsuit and clothes from the entire day nowhere in the hotel. The smell when you enter the room, the hotel can be a bit too intense but again, small issues. The adult pool is quite nice and chill and the bar on top has great views with excellent service. But again, the highlight and the person that put this hotel on the map for us, was our favorite employee that weirdly isn't head of staff, Bruno.

This was our first stay at this hotel, but it certainly won't be our last. From the moment we arrived, we received excellent service throughout our stay. The ambience was wonderful, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the breakfast offered a fantastic selection of delicious food. The hotel was spotlessly clean – a definite 10/10. A special mention goes to the two Maltese gentlemen at the front desk who worked different shifts. They both made us feel genuinely welcome and were a credit to the hotel. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable one. We look forward to returning.

Voedselvergiftiging en onbeleefde bejegening: hier niet boeken! Vorige week verbleven ik en mijn zus bij het Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa Malta. We hadden ons verheugd op een mooie week bij dit hotel, maar hebben in plaats daarvan de ergste vakantie van ons leven gehad. Op de eerste avond gingen we eten bij het restaurant van het hotel. We aten daar beide de halloumi burger, (het enige gerecht wat we allebei hebben gegeten die dag) enkele uren later werden we allebei ernstig ziek. Het was een flinke voedselvergiftiging die de hele week heeft aangehouden. We hebben enkel op bed gelegen met erge klachten, buiten naast het hotel wat flessen water halen was al te veel. Uiteraard hebben we niets kunnen bezichtigen of überhaupt iets kunnen doen van onze plannen. We hebben op de eerste dag de receptie gebeld, om laten weten dat we de voedselvergiftiging hadden opgelopen. Een kwartier later stond een medewerker van het hotel voor de kamerdeur. Hij vertelde ons dat het hotel zich niet verantwoordelijk voelde voor onze vergiftiging, tenzij we naar een kliniek gingen die zou kunnen bevestigen dat het echt door het hotel kwam hoefde we geen hulp te verwachten. Er werd ons niet eens beterschap gewenst. We voelden ons veel te ziek om ergens heen te gaan, en vonden het belachelijk dat we zo werden afgewimpeld. Helaas werd het niet beter. We zijn de hele week ziek geweest van het eten en hebben geen enkele aandacht ontvangen vanuit het hotel. Geen excuus, er werd niet naar ons omgekeken na deze vervelende ervaring. We voelden ons hierdoor zeer onwelkom. Na een week vlogen we (nog steeds ziek) terug naar Nederland. En wat zijn we blij dat we weer thuis zijn. Door de manier waarop we in dit hotel behandeld zijn krijgen ze van mij een 1.

We came back at ⛱️ and it was even better. From the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast staff and the gentleman who was always asking if we needed anything to the rooms. Swimming pools both of them very nice the roof with chill out music and the garden pool for my children. Basically we just relaxed, watched the football in the bar and ate at Al Ponte Restaurant. All good. See you soon !

This is a beautiful hotel and spa. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide choice of quality food and drink. The rooms are excellent too. Spacious, well furnished and very clean. The only issue is the choice of TV channels is very poor especially when you want to watch the world cup. There are 3 excellent swimming pools but parents be aware there are no life guards or activities coordinators. Having said that, the children play nicely and just get on with enjoying themselves.

I could not recommend this hotel highly enough a true 4 star hotel. The rooms were immaculate and the rest of the hotel was well maintained and very pleasant. Choice of 3 pools one inside, one outside for families and a roof top one for adults one. Breathtaking views from the roof terrace. We had a side sea view which looked onto the main road (despite this the patio doors were fab and we could not hear the road at all) The restaurant served something for everyone and the food was really good quality. Only negative (nothing to do with the hotel) 1. The bus stop was not working due to road works so there was shuttle bus that took you to the main bus stop, but it was very easy to walk there (a little bit steep) 2. There is a cash machine right next to the hotel which doesn't state there is a charge to use it but there is a 6 euro charge for every transaction which we didn't realise until the last day. The breakfast was lovely and lots of variety. Overall a lovely lovely holiday and would definitely stay here again. Thanks to all the lovely staff to who were very polite and friendly.
