Our stay at Azur Hotel in Malta in June 2026 was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected for the price we paid. The room had a strong, unpleasant damp smell that was noticeable the moment we opened the door. It became even worse whenever the bathroom door was left open, making the room very uncomfortable to stay in. The toilet flush wall plate was broken from the beginning of our stay. As a result, we had to flush the toilet by pressing the flush valve directly on the wall. It took the hotel two days to make what appeared to be only a temporary repair, and on our last day the panel fell off again. The air conditioning was centrally controlled and fixed at 24°C for the entire hotel, with no possibility for guests to adjust the temperature. We found the room too cold. Opening the balcony door was not an option because there was no mosquito screen, and the constant noise from the neighbouring air-conditioning units made it impossible to keep it open. Housekeeping also failed to replace dirty towels after removing them during cleaning, which was both inconvenient and unacceptable. The breakfast room had visible mold around one of the windows, which was very off-putting in a place where food is served. Although the reception staff were formally polite, they were unable to assist with even basic requests. They could not recommend any local restaurants or places to eat, despite being front-desk staff. The most disappointing incident occurred when my 5-year-old son developed a fever. I went to the reception asking for a thermometer, something I believe every large hotel should have available for emergencies. Not only did they not have one, but they also made no effort to help us find a pharmacy. The only response we received was, "There is one somewhere on the main road, but I don't know where." This lack of concern and assistance, especially when a child was ill, was completely unacceptable. Overall, this hotel suffers from poor maintenance, inadequate housekeeping, and a level of customer service that falls well below expectations. I would not recommend staying here.

Emplacement parfait. Chambre spacieuse bien équipée. Parcontre três mal insonorisé, réveillé dès que le voisin tire la chasse. Une clim et télécommande tv qui bug pas mal. Superbe piscine mais pas dans l'hôtel, 2min de marche. Parking non accessible. La salle de sport est une grosse arnaque . Petit déjeuner avec large choix, par contre café et jus d'orange imbuvable. Personnel de l'accueil (de jour) pas vraiment agréable qui donne de fausse information sur la disponibilité du parking par exemple, par contre personnel des étages très compétent et agréable.

I had a great stay at Azur Hotel and was very impressed with the overall experience. The hotel was excellent, but what impressed me the most was the gym. Honestly, it is one of the best hotel gyms I have ever seen, with one of the best views I have ever experienced from a gym. The equipment is modern, high-quality and up to European standards, with everything you need for a proper workout. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean and very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it, especially to anyone who enjoys training while travelling.😂😂😂

Hotel bem localizado porém nosso quarto nao estava na mesma torre que a piscina e a área de lazer, precisava de uma pulseira, e sair pela rua para acessar a piscina do hotel, o que era um pouco raro. A rua do hotel estava em reforma e isso dificultava muito para entrar com o carro na garagem. A vista do quarto nao dava 100% para a praia, e sim para os prédios ao lado. O quarto era ótimo, cama boa, ar condicionado bom. Recepcionistas podiam ser mais simpáticos.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed our experience. The hotel was lovely, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special thank you to Neloy, who provided us with exceptional service. He was extremely kind, polite, and attentive throughout our stay. He always had a smile on his face and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. People like Neloy really make a hotel stay special. His kindness and excellent service made a big difference to our experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be very happy to come back again.

Prima verblijf, maar het zwembad viel erg tegen. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. De kamers waren prima en het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Ook het ontbijt was op zich goed en er was voldoende keuze. Wat voor ons helaas erg tegenviel, was het zwembad. Op de foto’s op de website leek het zwembad veel mooier en ruimer dan het in werkelijkheid was. Daarnaast ging het zwembad pas om 10:00 uur open en werd het gedeeld met meerdere andere hotels. Hierdoor was het regelmatig erg druk. Wij mochten bovendien niet zomaar op alle ligbedden rondom het zwembad liggen, maar werden verwezen naar een gedeelte wat wat meer achteraf lag. Dit vonden we jammer, zeker omdat het zwembad op de website juist een belangrijk onderdeel van de uitstraling van het hotel leek. Ook bij het ontbijt was het behoorlijk druk. Het ontbijt zelf was prima, maar niet heel bijzonder of verrassend. Al met al waren de kamers en de vriendelijke service zeker pluspunten, maar het zwembad viel behoorlijk tegen in vergelijking met de verwachtingen die door de website werden gewekt.
