Hugo’s boutique was an amazing stay, staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and really nice. The amenities such as the pool are amazing, with really good cocktails. The pool can be super busy though so definitely recommend getting there at 9.30am for a good spot! We had breakfast included and it was really nice, Hugo has lots of other chains surrounding the hotel for other food places! Getting around is easy especially using bolt and is a good distance from sliema, valletta, st paul’s bay and the airport. There are lots of supermarkets and a shopping area nearby which is lovely. One night our electrics had tripped and the staff were so good at getting it sorted and moving us to another room for the night until sorted. My only downside was the noise, Hugo is right beside the clubs so if you are a light sleeper the noise can be a bit annoying but not massively Malta is beautiful and the hotel was amazing I absolutely recommend! ☺️

Daje jedynkę ku przestrodze osób które zastanawiają się nad tym hotelem. Owszem nowy hotel bardzo ładny niczego w nim nie brakuje ale… nie da się spać. Czujesz jakbyś był w klubie nie wychodząc do klubu. Nigdy nie przeżyłam czegoś podobnego. Rozumiem dzielnica imprezowa ale żeby aż trzeszczaly szyby balkonowe i drzwi od łazienki? Skoro macie hotel w takim miejscu to powinniście zadbać o doskonałe wyciszenie. Malta piękna jest i miło będę wspominać ale hotel to jedno wielkie rozczarowanie. Obsługa ok miła co mają co zrobić na hałas? Dają zatyczki i mówią że nie ma innego pokoju o tym standardzie i proponują lepszy za dopłata 30 euro.. w ostatnim dniu pobytu.

Stayed 16–21 Aug. Bar staff and check-in were great, and the location is well placed for exploring the island. That’s where the positives end. Hugo’s advertises breakfast and other things like the spa and other entrance at a sister hotel via a connecting walkway, but doesn’t disclose that walkway access is restricted in the evenings and prioritised for party guests over hotel guests. We only found this out when we arrived. Booking.com says “parties on some nights” in reality there were rooftop parties every night but Thursday, until 4am, on top of normal Paceville noise. We only found out via a note left in our room after check-in; staff said it was on the hotel’s own website, not much help booking via Booking.com. Soundproofing was poor, sleep was badly disrupted, and the bed had odd unmentioned adjustable controls. We paid for a jacuzzi suite and got a party hotel with boutique branding. Had the listing been honest, we’d have booked elsewhere nearby. 2/5 good staff and location, but go in expecting a party hotel.

I went to this hotel for a night out last night. Everything was fine at first, after we sat on the edge of some sofas. The bouncers grabbed us and forcefully took us out, ripping off my bracelet, throwing my slippers at me, and leaving me barefoot. A rude bouncer even called me a "whor*," and then the staff were rude, disrespectful, and rude to three girls. I sincerely hope they get fired and never find a job again.

I am sure I chose the wrong area for my stay, as the hotel is located right in the middle of what is probably the noisiest street in Malta. Although the room had double-glazed windows, the loud music from the surrounding bars and clubs could still be heard until 3 or 4 a.m. every night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Another inconvenience is that taxis cannot drop you off directly at the hotel, so you have to walk with your luggage through the busy streets. Breakfast is served in the sister property, which is connected by a bridge on the top floor. However, this bridge only opens from 9:00 a.m. onwards. As I usually have breakfast early, I had to leave the hotel and walk outside to the other building every morning. Unfortunately, after the nightlife, the streets were dirty and full of rubbish, which was not a pleasant way to start the day. The reception area is also very noisy in the evenings because there is a popular bar that is constantly busy. The rooftop pool is quite small, with very few sunbeds and umbrellas available. The hotel also attracts a very young crowd, which may suit some travellers but was not the atmosphere I was looking for. The room itself was clean and comfortable. However, the air conditioning was not working properly. I reported the issue, but nothing was done to resolve it. Since I was only staying for three nights, I decided not to insist further. There was also considerable noise in the corridors late at night. Overall, I will definitely return to Malta because I loved the island, but I would choose a different hotel next time.

Zdecydowanie hotel dla lubiących imprezy i to głośne!!!Jedynie nie byliśmy zadowoleni z pokoju ponieważ dostaliśmy widok na ścianę i rury. Dlatego tylko 3 gwiazdeki
