Please comb over your room before unpacking. Checked in and out relatively quickly after finding bed bugs on the bath robe in the closet. The concerning part was when I called downstairs to the front desk and the employee did not seem surprised in the slightest. The room was also dirty with many cosmetic issues like a chipped mirror, moldy grout, glass rings on furniture, chipped furniture, etc.. When I checked out she described the reasoning as me “being unhappy with the room” which is a weird way to label it. This was a work trip so I do believe (I hope anyway) that my company was refunded fully.

When my family of 4 plus dog arrived on New Years Day we were unpleasantly surprised to learn that there was no hot water. When we started searching for contacts/phone numbers (more on this later), we found another review from 12/29 that they experienced the same thing! They had been sitting on this information for days!! There was no advance notice when in my IMO we should have received a personal phone call so that we could make alternate plans! It’s below freezing in NYC right now!! When asked how they planned on rectifying this, we were told all we could do was to get in touch with the manager by e-mail; that the front desk person we were dealing with had no authority to do anything. Such utter crap hospitality and management. When we tried to search for alternate contacts to talk with management that’s when we came upon the other Google review…they were compensated some meager amount per night for this huge inconvenience. Since there were no good options for us in the vicinity, we very reluctantly stayed (though we canceled our original booking that was more than double than the room we rebooked for to give them the least amount of our money). The room is just adequate; there is a broken light fixture and the floor boards are freezing with just socks on. Breakfast is very basic. And 24 hours later, we still haven’t heard back from the manager.

Our room had multiple maintenance issues, including a non-draining sink, extremely low shower pressure, and a shower door that would not close properly. Although staff fixed the sink, the shower issue could not be resolved and we had to change rooms. The second room had better pressure, but the conditioner provided appeared contaminated or improperly stored, with white chunks suspended in a watery liquid. Overall, the property feels poorly maintained and does not meet the standards it advertises. This is a 3-star experience at best.

Wir waren über Weihnachten mit Freunden dort. Das Hotel und die Lage haben uns positiv überrascht. Leider gab es ab dem zweiten Tag nur noch eiskaltes Wasser zum duschen. Für die Aussage, dass es über die Feiertage schwer ist einen Handwerker her zu bekommen hatten wir Verständnis. Jedoch blieb das Warmwasser auch für die darauffolgenden Tage aus. Uns wurde eine Erstattung von 200$ pro Zimmer zugesichert. Trotz mehrfacher Kontaktaufnahme haben wir bis heute nichts mehr vom Hotel gehört und keine Erstattung erhalten. Das Hotel können wir trotzdem weiterempfehlen uns hat es dennoch gut gefallen.

El desayuno que incluye es muy muy muy ligero, tuve que desayunar de nuevo afuera. Y lo peor, NO HAY AGUA CALIENTE! El día de mi check in me lo comentaron, y muy quitados de la pena me dijeron "le podemos reembolsar el costo de la habitación" Claro... a temperaturas bajo cero y con dos menores de edad me voy a salir a buscar hoteles disponibles.

Great location. Walking distance to Jay and Bergen subway stops. Lots of food choices within walking distance. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We weren't sure about the beds at first because they are very low to the ground and do not have a box spring. Secure building. Must have key card to enter after a certain time. Also need key card to operate elevator. Employees were very friendly and very accomodating. Genuinely seemed to want to make our stay nice. Lobby was very inviting with lots of seating and a large picture window. The coffee was great. Breakfast was well done. The choices were quality items and not just fillers. Would stay here again.
