The Park Shore hotel is right next to the zoo and has a wonderful view of Diamond Head. Our room opens onto the pool deck and our beautiful view includes the beach and the horizon beyond. That part is great. Other nice things are the purified water dispenser in the lobby, after sun gel and sunscreen provided, some of the pillows are comfy, although some are old and flat. As good as the good things are, I cannot recommend this hotel because the negatives outweigh the positives and I would never stay here again. Upon arrival, you will find that there is no parking here. It's valet-only and they charge extra for it even though you have no other choice. The valets do a good job, especially for the tiny space they have to work with. Upon reservation, the list of amenities states that the hotel has games that we could check out, but this is a falsehood--just an outright lie, actually--but it was THE thing that pushed this hotel over the top and why we decided to stay here with two kids. Upon walking into our room, there was a poopy smell and a loud screaming noise, both of which we reported and were told someone would look into it. Nothing was ever done. The toilet wobbles quite a bit, as well, but I know that isn't an issue they can fix with a quick visit to the room. The AC works fine, but there are no numbers on the thermostat. Oddly, the bathroom door is a slider with no lock! The pool hours are for people who come to Hawaii to spend their entire vacation in their hotel room. The pool closes at sunset. That is ridiculous. What is the point of having a pool view room if there's no way to use it?! Most of those negatives are annoyances that no one should have to deal with, but all they do is lower the star rating. There is one unforgivable offense, however, that this hotel holds as "policy" and was the worst part of our stay. They have abysmal housekeeping services here. Would everyone not agree that the bare minimum for a hotel is to have the housekeepers come in each room daily to make the beds and replace the dirty towels? Would you prefer to walk in from a fun day out and about only to find yesterday's towels on the bathroom floor and the beds all messed up? NO! THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. EVER. Their policy is to only provide housekeeping services every OTHER day. Okay, so give me back half of the thousand dollars we paid to stay here! I am disgusted that this place refuses to meet the BARE MINIMUM. We stayed all week and only got maid service ONCE. Despicably lazy. Because of the parking and housekeeping issues, I will not recommend the Park Shore Hotel.

Our stay at this beautiful Waikiki Beach hotel was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we stepped into the open-air lobby, we were greeted with genuine aloha spirit and a refreshing tropical drink. The check-in process was seamless, setting a relaxing tone for the rest of our Hawaiian vacation.The highlight of the property is undeniably its premier beachfront location. Walking from the resort directly onto the soft sands of Waikiki Beach made our daily beach trips effortless. Our oceanfront room offered breathtaking, panoramic views of the turquoise Pacific Ocean and the iconic Diamond Head crater. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves and watching the vibrant Hawaiian sunsets from our private balcony was a daily highlight. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern tropical decor and incredibly comfortable bedding.The resort amenities truly exceeded our expectations. The infinity pool area is a tropical paradise, surrounded by lush greenery, comfortable lounge chairs, and excellent poolside service. We spent hours relaxing there while enjoying fresh poke bowls and signature mai tais from the resort bar. Additionally, the on-site dining options were world-class, offering a fantastic blend of fresh local seafood and traditional Hawaiian flavors.What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional staff. Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Housekeeping was meticulous, the beach attendants were incredibly helpful with setting up chairs, and the concierge provided phenomenal local recommendations for hiking and dining.This resort perfectly captures the beauty and hospitality of Oahu. It provided the ultimate blend of luxury, relaxation, and convenience. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and are already counting down the days until we can return to this beachside paradise.

Beautiful hotel and a nice perk including free beach equipment rentals discount at the local restaurants downstairs. The staff were very nice and helpful with all my questions. The room was clean and had a gorgeous view of Diamond Head and the beach. The traffic noise can be a bit loud at times as it carries up to the rooms easily. They offer free sunscreen and a filtered water station to refill your water bottles. My room had a nice view of the zoo too

Really disappointing experience given how great of a location they are at.. Room had a funky smell, shower broke on the first night and had to repeatedly call the front desk in order to get it fixed. Didn’t even have toothbrushes ready and we had to specifically ask for it from front desk. Charged us an additional $55 resort fee PER DAY upon arrival (not mentioned in booking) Hard to justify their premium hotel prices when they deliver motel level services. I’m sure the staff are trying their best, but management needs to get their shit together

Rooms are small and a bit dated, but clean! AC works adequately and the view is amazing! Location is great for beach access and the staff friendly and helpful. No thrills hotel, pool is fine and no real other amenities, but we didn't come here to hang out in a hotel so it worked out perfect.

We had an incredible stay at Park Shore Waikiki Hotel. It is located literally across the street from the beautiful beach. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, although the bathroom was outdated... they need to replace and update the shower and tub. We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff at the hotel are very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
