Original room was 4/5 due to a leak but we got moved promptly to a suite and this was 5/5. I would make a small suggestion about having snacks in the room like chips/ crisps. Also with all the drinking that is done by the bar peanuts and chips would’ve been a nice touch. The experience here was top tier had a great time and the staff were so accommodating across the board. The bar staff were amazing along with the water sports team. Rajay, Tahjay, Sanjay, Christopher, javaine, Shane and last but not least Bryan. Ariel, Andrew x2, Roger, Zeus, Dave, captain Catamaran. Sorry if I forgot anyone but THANK YOU. Shantae & Amazing Grace will surely be back!! I cannot complain about the food because it was amazing and there was an option for all diets. I will complain about the size of my belly which has definitely grown, due to the food which was spectacular!! Even though this is a couples hotel, as a couple of people we felt most welcomed!! Keep up the great work all of you your attention to visitors is noted!!

I'm not one to write reviews but seriously Couples Tower Isle exceeded my expectations. My vacation at CTI was incredibly relaxing, there was so much to do at the resort that is included with your stay, or you can kick back and relax if you want as well! The views are incredible, the beach and the property is very clean and well kept. The food and drinks were amazing! Lots of dining options from the buffet to the pool grill or reservations to one of the restaurants on the resort as well, all very delicious with great options. The minibar was a great touch as well! My favorite place to go was the coffee shop where they had wonderful cafe lattes, frappes & even matcha. Lastly, the part that blew me away the most was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone, from the front desk, restaurants, housekeeping, watersports, and entertainment had the most positive, upbeat, and welcoming attitude I've ever experienced. I am so happy that I chose to stay at Couples Tower Isle for my vacation, and I hope to come back soon for another visit. Thank you so much for having me here, it was a pleasure. And seriously if you are considering Couples Tower Isle, DO IT you will not regret it!!

This was a birthday getaway with my husband and I. We had an amazing time. The atmosphere was played back but the vibes was good!! I can't say enough about the food. The was spectacular!! For me that was the best part along with the pool bar. The bartenders were very attentive and kept us "happy". Our room was comfortable with breath taking views. We were able to see the sunset and sunrise every morning.

From arrival every staff was pleasant and welcoming. What would have been an ocean view room was upgraded to a Spa Oasis Villa which I really enjoyed. The room was well kept and nice and the pool was warm especially in the nights. The hotel features one main pool and a swim up bar which both bartenders and servers were receptive and it was a great vibe. The main highlight was the island which was a boat ride to and from which clothes were “optional”. Nightlife features their 7 restaurants or locations to have dinner with one being their main area for buffet not only for dinner but breakfast and lunch. Additionally there are attractions and parties by the main pool (Saturday night) where their buffet would extend out to the pool. Day activities feature scuba diving, non motorized sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, glass bottom boat etc. We also had the option of visiting the sister hotel (Couples San Souci) for the day and enjoy the resort similarly to a day pass with a ride to go to and from the resort. Additionally couples have a cafe and a poolside restaurant They also have a games room that has table tennis and pool table which also had a NCB atm in the room. Couples isn’t like the other hotels that boast all inclusive they stand by what all inclusive should actually mean. This hotel is one of those hidden gems and it’s really worth visiting and I will definitely be there again.

TLDR: A nice resort with really good food, generally clean, not too busy, service quality is mixed and rooms feel dated Location: location is nice and private. The beach is in sort of a cove so you will not be pestered by beach sellers, but it also means you cannot go for long beach walks. It seems the recent hurricane also did some damage to the main stairwell to the beach and was closed along with one of the hot tubs but it's a non issue. On the other side of the hotel, the road is quite close, so there is occasional road noise all the way to the water. Overall a nice and quiet spot although quite far from the airport. Airport shuttle service: very nice to have! There is a nice couples lobby with drinks at the airport and someone to take your bags. Expect to tip these people as they are not covered by the resort's no tipping policy. Same with your driver. The drive is easy but 2 hours and in a bit of a rundown but clean van. Check in: Fast and efficient. We were given moist towels and drinks and the front desk staff was personable and fun. We were brought to our rooms within 15 min of getting to the hotel. Rooms: rooms are nice and very clean but feel dated. We had an ocean view in block 5, which is a very private area of the resort but a bit far from everything, the view is great although it overlooks a villa that is not owned by the resort. Beds are comfy and AC works great. Bathroom is clean but the sink is useless, it is too shallow and the faucet is too far back to use without splashing, also the shower makes the floor a bit wet in the bathroom, but the cleaning service comes so often (but never bothers you) that it isn't really a problem. Food: The food is excellent in every restaurant, we could not find anything that did not taste good and surprise us. The service at the restaurants was very mixed. It just felt like they did not have a lot of training on waiting tables and it showed with simple issues like not coming up to the host stand to greet you, seating you next to others when there are many open tables, not providing enough silverware for all courses, etc. For the most part wait staff were friendly, but we did have a few that seemed disinterested - possibly the result of the tipping policy. Our favorite restaurant was actually the Veranda which had the best combo of food quality to service and did not require a reservation. On the note of reservations, one surprise was that we could not reserve the same restaurant more than 1 time per 5 days! We also tried the room service (I got a head cold towards the end of the stay) which provides the same great food as the restaurants. Pools: Pools are clean and a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink. You can get a flag to request a waiter without having to get up, but the bar and pool restaurant are so close that it's not really needed. Bars: there are plenty and the drinks are great. Bar tenders do get a bit busy so sometimes it may take a few min to get their attention. We had 2 standout bar tenders: Moya and Anthony, who really excelled in being attentive and friendly, they made our stay special :) Activities: we had pretty high winds which blocked a lot of the ocean activities other than swimming, but the hotel still had daily events to keep you busy if you wanted to be. Most activity staff were friendly and helpful with one exception - the dive shop. For some reason they seemed pretentious and disinterested - getting any information was like pulling teeth. I understand that the winds most days were not conducive to going out, but they seemed to have an unnecessarily unfriendly attitude. If I was a first time diver, I would have been completely discouraged. Ultimately I did not get to dive (due to the head cold at the end of my stay), but after my first discussions with the shop, I wasn't sure I even wanted to anymore. Overall: This is a nice resort with excellent food. I think it leaves a little to be desired for a "5 star resort" but you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here, we would recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at Couples Tower Isle. Overall, the stay itself was good. The rooms were slightly dated, but comfortable. The food was good, with a different variety offered each night at the buffet, and the meals at the reservation-only restaurants were cooked well. The staff were very nice, attentive, and welcoming, which was a big positive throughout our stay. On the other hand, we found that the resort's guest population was more on the mature side. As a younger couple (me in my mid-twenties and my husband in his early thirties), it was a little harder to engage with certain activities, as many seemed geared toward a more mature crowd. For instance, the disco runs from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., but by around 10:30–11:00 p.m., most of the resort is in bed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but for a younger couple it can be a bit challenging, if you are seeking socializing and a nightlife. If you're looking for a clean place to sleep, eat, drink, and relax, and don't care much for activities or nightlife, this hotel would be perfect. On the other hand, if you're interested in nightlife, exploring the island, or being able to visit local vendors and stores within walking distance while still enjoying an adults-only atmosphere, I would recommend Secrets, Breathless, or Riu Reggae (Montego Bay), Excellence Oyster Bay (Trelawny), or Ocean Eden Bay (Trelawny). I am also aware that many hotels may not be operating at full capacity or may still be recovering from recent hurricane impacts. However, the resorts mentioned above are great all-inclusive options that offer both a variety of activities and a good mix of younger and more mature guests. The resorts in Montego Bay allow you to leave the property and explore nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions while still feeling comfortable as a tourist, as many are within walking distance. The hotels in Trelawny are not within walking distance of local attractions since they are located off the main highway, but they make up for it with exceptional service, activities, entertainment, and a good mix of guests. Excursions can also easily be arranged with transportation provided. Overall, Couples Tower Isle was a good stay with excellent staff, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere. Whether it is the right resort for you depends largely on the type of vacation experience you are looking for.
