Ocean Eden Bay - Adults Only - All Inclusive

As excited as I was to have a stay at ocean Eden for my birthday trip , the experience that I received was absolutely terrible . Upon arrival they did not have the room that I had rebooked to stay in causing me and another friend to have to share a king bed . In addition to that a friend of mine who happens to be a gay female received prejudice treatment . She was completely ignored and told “ she doesn’t want that “ when asking a bartender by the name of Elvis for a drink while he laughed and then proceeded to ignore her for 30 min before she got upset and went to speak with management . Mind you the bar was not full . We did birthday decor in the room we were stating in since it was both of our birthdays to celebrate that week . I set it up as a surprise for my friend just for it to be tore down and thrown to the side upon arrival after telling the front desk we needed the room clean for the same said surprise . We also had $170 stolen from us that we have yet to hear back about from their “ investigation” the security is telling us to speak with guest services and after 5 email guest services has yet to respond . The food her is very mid and they over charge for ever ride off the resort . They say “ privilege “ but it not really worth the upgrade because there aren’t many other privileges outside of cabanas and higher grade of liquor which you can get either way . The guest service was horrendous and could honestly care less about your guest experience and avoid any resolution to fix the issues you may have . I have yet to even have. A partial refund for making us spend two days in a room we didn’t book . I won’t be back again . 5 star my behind it’s more of a 3 star with a nice pool . I am so disappointed

Ocean Eden Bay is an adults-only all-inclusive holiday linked to a family section. There was a mixer of holidaying couples and groups and families and solo travellers, all were very friendly and mainly Americans. The food was good, the options was good, the drinks were good, and the atmosphere was good and the entertainment was good. I would have like to see a variety of Jamaican patties daily not just once a week, and the same for ackee and saltfish and other Jamaican dishes with vegetarian options like ackee and jackfruit as it is Jamaica and I feel the food should be represented. I feel the pool and beach side service could be better i.e. offering and delivering drinks and snacks as in many other hotels of this standard. The rooms were large, clean and acceptable with all you need. The beach needs work, it would be better if it was one strip, seaweed raked and generally improved stretch so that it can be swim in. Guest service could do with training I had a small issue with my transfer, and the front desk did not know what to do and said they couldn’t help with some pushing it got sorted by guest services. Excellent nightclub, bowling alley, sports bar and coffee shop along a little strip with other shops and services. Ann the taxi driver at the front was exceptional, with her very clean and no smoking taxi with super-fast WIFI, she took us out on an excursion and was excellent, I would highly recommend her. I would go back one day.

We booked a last-minute vacation from June 21–26 as “Privileged” guests. While the resort itself is very pretty, in our experience, the Privileged service was absolutely not worth the extra money we paid. The service throughout our stay was extremely disappointing. Despite what seemed like plenty of employees on the property, we constantly found ourselves searching for someone to help us or provide service. Interestingly, whenever an employee wanted us to complete a survey, someone suddenly seemed to be readily available. When we returned home, everything seemed fine—until it wasn’t. I became seriously ill and later tested positive for both E. coli and Salmonella. Based on the timing and circumstances, I believe the exposure occurred during our stay at the all-inclusive resort. Unfortunately, the resort has taken no responsibility for the situation. Between the poor level of service, the additional cost of the Privileged experience, and the serious illness I experienced after returning home, I cannot recommend this resort and would not consider staying here again.

My fiance and I just completed our 3 night stay at Ocean Eden Bay. Overall we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed all of the staff we interacted with. The food options were bountiful which was very nice as I’ve been to all inclusive resorts without enough restaurants and long wait times. I do wish there was a bit more going on at the Adults Only side of the resort. Many of the restaurants and activities were on the side that had children which wasn’t ideal for relaxing. We stayed in a Privilege suite and overall we felt paying the extra price for the additional attention from staff and the exclusive Privilege pool and beach front cabanas was worth it. We would certainly consider booking at an Oceans hotel again in the future!

Just returned from my first solo trip and happy I selected Ocean Eden Bay! From beginning to end my experience was more than I expected. I felt safe and had no concerns walking the grounds. Service on every level was top notch. I wish I had gotten the names of all the staff I encountered, however Ruth Ann at the Captain's Market is outstanding. Her professionalism and genuine demeanor didn't go unnoticed. She was attentive, polite and pleasant to everyone. Also, the food options there were great! My room accommodations were very comfortable and if there was anything I needed, it was delivered. I also enjoyed the activities at the pool with the entertainment staff. CeCe and host, (whose name I don't remember ) kept the guests involved, making sure everyone was having a great time. It was the perfect holiday getaway!

We had an amazing experience at the Steak House, and a big part of that was our server, Michael. He was incredibly friendly, kind, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. He went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner special, even singing “Happy Anniversary” to my wife, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. His outstanding service, positive attitude, and genuine hospitality made our evening even more enjoyable. Thank you, Michael, for helping make our anniversary one to remember. We highly recommend asking for him if you visit!
