We went for our honeymoon, and I have to say its the perfect place to be staying for couples for many reasons! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Tarrik was so nice, he gave us such a nice experience. The staff at the restaurant were also wonderful and everyone was so helpful and informative. The location is fantastic. You literally walk onto the beach, there are multiple restaurants and a bar, swimming pool and multiple sun beds. The hotel is huge with multple rooms. We had a great room. the rooms are all well equipped, AC, fully functioning, very clean. Room service also fantastic! Location is fantastic, the local beach is great, the locals are friendly. 100% recommend. The sunset is amazing, the water is crystal clear and you can snorkel there.

Our stay at Coral Strand has been made even more memorable because of the outstanding breakfast experience every morning, and a huge part of that is thanks to Chef Mohit. The breakfast spread is excellent, but what truly stands out is the quality of the food. Every dish prepared by Chef Mohit reflects exceptional skill, authentic flavours, and perfect texture for an Indian food. What makes Chef Mohit truly exceptional is not just his culinary talent, but his genuine care for his guests. His courteous manner and willingness to go the extra mile create a welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel valued. The moment that touched us the most was something we will always remember. Being Indian, I was finding it difficult to get a cup of tea that suited my taste. I never asked Chef Mohit to prepare one, but over the past few days he quietly noticed my struggle. Today, completely on his own initiative, he surprised me with a freshly prepared Indian-style tea. It was absolutely perfect—rich, aromatic, comforting, and exactly the flavour I had been missing. This thoughtful gesture was far beyond what anyone would expect and speaks volumes about his attentiveness and dedication to guest satisfaction. Hospitality is not just about serving great food; it is about making people feel at home. The only suggestion I have for management is to consider adding Indian tea in the breakfast menu.

We spent 8 days at Coral and we had a fabulous stay, wouldn’t change a thing. Staff is super respectful and professional, especially Danushka, as soon as we sat at the table at breakfast, he was already bringing our favourite coffee without us even asking. Big thanks to the manager Shihan that checked on us every single day, we felt welcome and appreciated. There are definitely more names to be added but I don’t remember them all unfortunately. This is an excellent property that's right on the beach. Many of the rooms have been recently renovated and are practical / functional (and have health faucets, yay!). Some rooms (check when you are shown yours) have AC (drain leaks) issues and doors that can't be kept open for movement / luggage (though they have magnetic stoppers) - but they are well appointed and have excellent storage (three varieties of hangers! - if you're like me and prefer to organize your clothes that way), a full set of toiletries for guests (many hotels cut corners these days, the Coral Strand didn't), and lovely views - if you happen to get a ocean facing unit. Lindy is the life of the hotel lobby/experience; she's actually guest relations, but literally took care of everything for us. Do ask for her if you need recommendations or just a friendly face - it was always a pleasure to meet her. She is a phenomenal ambassador for the brand. The beach access is an excellent plus, and the staff at the pool / restaurants are very polite and happy to help. The attached restaurant (Mahek) that we tried out is also well staffed and has great Indian food. What I would ask the management to look at though: a) flies at the breakfast buffet. This is both unsavoury and unhygienic. b) some rooms are facing a construction area and the check-in staff didn't seem to be aware that they were using earth movers and back hoes - noisy machines at best. c) a fitness center would be a perfect addition to make this property a must-visit. d) a larger pen for the tortoises would be nice.

I don’t even know where to start with this beautiful hotel and the fabulous team there. From the moment we entered the hotel for check-in, everyone welcomed us warmly. Even though they were busy, they still made sure to smile and make us feel special. The room was very clean and beautiful as well. The lobby and pool area could use some renovation as they look a bit old, but honestly the kindness of the team made a huge difference to our experience. The first 2 days, the food was not the best, but on the 3rd day everything changed and the food became amazing. When we asked, they told us Chef Radwan was behind it, so special thanks to him for the beautiful food. After the team knew that we were a bit upset about the food during the first days, they invited us for a special dinner, and Chef Radwan together with Sakura, Shihan, and Hemantha made our experience truly memorable. Everyone there was so kind, friendly, and caring. Thank you again to the whole management and team for taking such good care of us.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Seychelles Coral Strand Smart Choice hotel. Especially the front desk manager, Chamara Cooray was very kind and helpful. Special thanks to him. I highly recommend this hotel to all employees at Turkish Airlines where I work
