Das beste Hotel auf La Digue. Der Standort ist an sich ideal 500m nördlich der jetty auf dem Weg zur Anse Severve (Hotel Buggy Shuttle Service on arrival and departure). Die Anlage wird aber durch die Inselrundstraße durchschnitten und liegt quer zur Küste, so dass nur die ganz oben am Hang liegenden Villen Meerblick haben, die Aussicht auf Praslin von dort besticht allerdings (Achtung: gilt nur für wenige Villen der höchsten Kategorie). Es fehlt leider ein schöner Hotel Strand, der Domain beach Club bietet nur einige Meter mit Blick auf eine Gezeitenschutzmauer. Das Designkonzept operiert des nachts hart an der Kitschgrenze, ist aber stimmig. Perfekt ist die Lage am Spätnachmittag zum Sonnenuntergang. Das Hotel fordert frühen Checkout bietet aber late departure Arrangement, die Verfügbarkeit des changing room ist leider bei gleichzeitiger Abreise mehrerer, etwas mit den Mittagsfähren, nicht gewährleistet. Freies Trinkwasser und inselübliche Preise für Drinks. Tolles Frühstück mit complimentary Prosecco. Die Croissants überzeugen zwar nicht restlos, dafür gibt es unglaublich leckeres Brot und der ambitionierte Seychellois an der egg station erfüllt aber jeden Wunsch - sei es auch eine spontane Sauce Hollandaise oder ein Cocos- Bananen im-Crepe. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, indes heben sich einzelne durch besondere Aufmerksamkeit hervor. Buffet haben wir nicht getestet, Seafoodplatte a la Carte Restaurant ist zu empfehlen.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti durante la luna di miele nelle Resident Garden Villas. Camere molto spaziose, con bellissima terrazza sulla vegetazione e bagno con doccia all’aperto. Personale molto cordiale. Cucina nella fascia media, ristorante a buffet buono (non abbiamo provato quello alla carta, che da notare è extra rispetto alla mezza pensione anche se si riceve uno sconto). Rental per le bici molto vicino all’hotel, che è in una buona posizione per esplorare l’isola. Nel complesso contesto carino.

We are currently staying at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie amd can say this has been one of our favourite hotel experiences. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the port, with shops, cafés and restaurants all nearby, making everything very easy and relaxed. It’s also perfectly positioned for some beautiful walks and sunsets. We particularly loved walking to Anse Severe and Anse Patates in the evenings to watch the sunset, which became one of the highlights of our trip. The food and beverage offering has been exceptional throughout our stay. The buffet restaurant offers a different themed evening each night, which keeps things varied and interesting, while the à la carte restaurant provides a true high-end gourmet dining experience and was perfect for celebrating our wedding anniversary. What has really made this stay special though is the incredible customer service throughout the resort. Every team member has been warm, attentive and genuinely caring, and they truly went above and beyond to make our 25th wedding anniversary memorable. Special thanks to: * Eph & Divya from Front Office/Reception * Suruti, Jacqueline, Dianna, Indrianni, Yashiv & Kurtish from Food & Beverage * Bright & Vinay from Management * All the chaps bringing the guests from their villas to the hotel pool and restaurants including Dhanji, Michel, Graham, Rozel and Valentin A special mention also to Harry at the pool bar who makes excellent cocktails and always created a great atmosphere. We stayed in a Villa de Charme which is a truly enchanting accommodation. The outdoor bathroom concept takes a little getting used to initially, but it quickly becomes part of the charm and uniqueness of the experience. The villa felt very private, peaceful and special throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the lovely turn-down service each evening, and a huge thank you to our housekeeper Kani, who kept the villa spotless and beautifully decorated both on arrival and especially for our anniversary. The spa has a fantastic location with views out to Praslin. We are booked in for a treatment tomorrow so very much looking forward to that. We have absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie to anyone looking for somewhere truly special to stay on La Digue.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie in La Digue. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings, amazing facilities, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. The service overall was excellent, and the people truly made the experience special. It is honestly one of the greatest hotels I have ever visited. If I had to mention one small point for improvement, it would be a little more attention to certain details in the room, such as the minibar, which felt somewhat limited. However, this did not take away from the overall fantastic experience. A truly beautiful hotel with wonderful people, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting La Digue.

Un immense merci pour ce séjour d’exception. Nous avons été conquis par la beauté du cadre et la qualité remarquable des installations, pensées pour offrir confort et sérénité. La piscine et le pool bar sont de véritables lieux de détente, magnifiés par une vue imprenable sur Praslin et des couchers de soleil tout simplement inoubliables. La chambre, spacieuse et très confortable, avec sa vue apaisante sur le jardin, a été un véritable cocon tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avons également particulièrement apprécié la richesse et la qualité du petit déjeuner ainsi que du buffet, variés et savoureux. Nous souhaitons enfin saluer la qualité de l’accueil : une équipe chaleureuse, attentive, toujours disponible et à l’écoute, qui contribue pleinement à rendre l’expérience unique. Bravo et merci à toute l’équipe pour votre professionnalisme, votre engagement et votre sens du détail.

Excellent séjour à l’Hôtel Orangeraie ! Dès notre arrivée, les réceptionnistes ainsi que le gang man Mr. Shaji nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d’originalité, rendant le début du séjour très agréable. Leur professionnalisme et leur bonne humeur ont vraiment fait la différence. Un grand bravo également aux superviseurs, notamment Albert et son équipe, pour leur organisation irréprochable et leur attention constante. Mention spéciale à Kurtish, assistant bar manager, et à toute son équipe pour leur service de qualité, leur bonne humeur et leur sens du détail. Merci aussi à Satnam, buggy driver, toujours ponctuel, serviable et souriant, facilitant tous nos déplacements. Enfin, félicitations au chef Himon pour ses plats savoureux et variés. Une équipe exceptionnelle qui a rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !
