Dieser Aufenthalt war einfach nur Traumhaft. Das Hotel ist wunderschön, die Zimmer auf einem anderen Niveau. ABER was wirklich den Unterschied macht sind die Mitarbeiter. Viktoriia war die beste Concierge die wir je erlebt haben. Höflich, elegant und hat unsere tage so leicht und einfach gemacht wie nur möglich. Eine Auge fürs Detail und eine Höflichkeit wie man sie selten erlebt. DANKE Viktoriia. Weiteren Dank an Damikus und Vivian die beide ebenso hervorragende Gastgeber sind. Damikus der das Schnorcheln auf der insel zu einem traum erlebnis machte und Vivian der eine riesige Herzlichkeit gezeigt hat.

We spent a week here for our honeymoon, and the resort managed to feel peaceful without ever becoming monotonous. There was always something to do, from snorkeling and tennis to the gym and other daily activities. The island itself is remarkable: giant tortoises roam the grounds, hermit crabs cover the beaches, and the views across the seemingly endless ocean are unforgettable. The hotel’s snorkeling excursion was far better than we expected. We were taken out to a spectacular coral reef filled with colourful fish. Viktorria, our personal concierge, thoughtfully arranged a lesson with DOMIK, who was patient and supportive and helped my wife feel comfortable in the water. Viktorria looked after us throughout the stay, arranging our transfers and keeping us updated each day with activities and dining information. The entire team was consistently warm and attentive. Breakfast was generous and varied, with different selections each day. The hotel also prepared several thoughtful honeymoon touches, including evening desserts, a special cheesecake at breakfast and a flower-petal bath.

Our Hearts Are Still on Platte Island Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island was nothing short of unforgettable. The experience begins before you even arrive—you board a tiny scenic plane that glides over the breathtaking turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean before landing on the island. From that moment on, you know you’re somewhere truly special. Each morning, breakfast was a highlight. The combination of an abundant buffet and an exceptional à la carte menu meant every day started perfectly, with incredible food and impeccable quality. The island itself is magical. Seeing sharks and sea turtles swimming just behind our villa felt almost unreal, and the daily lineup of arts, crafts, and activities ensured there was always something to enjoy. Feeding the giant tortoises became one of our favorite memories and is something we’ll never forget. But what makes this place extraordinary is its people. Our concierge, Angelle, made every detail effortless with genuine warmth and care. Our personal concierge, Karan, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Gary made every activity memorable with his enthusiasm and kindness. And Anmol deserves special recognition—even while on holiday, he still went above and beyond to help us from afar. That level of dedication speaks volumes about the culture of this resort. A special thank you also goes to the incredible kitchen team and restaurant servers. Every meal felt like coming home. We were welcomed each day with such genuine warmth, kindness, and familiarity that it felt less like being served by staff and more like being greeted by old friends. Their smiles, conversations, and heartfelt hospitality transformed every breakfast and dinner into an experience we genuinely looked forward to. Luxury can be found in beautiful villas and pristine beaches, but true luxury is how people make you feel. The team at Waldorf Astoria Platte Island has mastered that art. We will never forget this island. Its beauty will stay with us forever, but even more so, the extraordinary people who gave it its heart. Long after you leave, your heart yearns not only for the paradise you’ve left behind, but for the remarkable staff who made it feel like home. That, more than anything, is what makes this place truly unforgettable.

Je to vyjímečné místo s vyjímečným personálem , s vyjímečnou atmosférou. Nic zde není problém . Zaměstnanci tohoto resortu jsou usměvaví, vřelí , přátelští a pobyt vám udělají nad očekávání dokonalý. Děkujeme slečně Yogi za jeji úsměv , dochvilnost , vždy bylo vše perfektní ♥️ Nezapomenutelné je i SPA, kde se o nás perfektně staral pan Hemant a jeho skvělý tým♥️Těšime se , až se vrátíme a budeme opět nasávat atmosféru tohoto nezapomenutelného mista v Indickém oceanu 🏝️. Stayed here last year, it didn’t quite live up to my experience with Waldorf Maldives but it was the next best experience! Our concierge was Dom, who was terrific and pleasant to converse with. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the tortoise sanctuary (we miss tripod!) and the bobbing heads of turtles in the ocean in the mornings. We got to see some baby turtles that hatched while we were there and it made my wife’s whole trip! I wished they had more food options. I was not particularly impressed with any of them…there was restaurant (it was french creole I believe?) that we liked a little more than the others but unfortunately it had a serious issue with noseeums bugs that which kept ending up in all of our food & drinks. We spent the entire drink swatting them away and had to change our drinks multiple times as a result. It should be an easy fix for them - installing some screens should do it! Overall it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it!
