I will start off by giving, what might sound like an extremely weird compliment. This was the best bathroom sink that I have ever experienced in all my travels across different continents, countries, and cities. The depth didn't result in a splash on myself either from the running tap or when I was doing my daily ablutions. The distance between self and the bowl was such that no puddles of water formed around the sink or on the bathroom floor. The sink and tap were well aligned so no finger yoga had to be done to ensure hands got wet and not the surrounding surface.I loved it! The room was soundproof, the bed comfortable and clean, the cafe on the first floor with round the clock hot and cold drinking water and a selection of teas and coffees was more than what I expected, and the breakfast was so varied and fresh that a picky eater like me was satisfied. They also gave a "wee" bag when I came in with an Irn Bru and a Tannocks marshmallow style chocolate. I wanted to try these two Scottish offerings but wasn't so sure of purchasing in case I dont like them. Thanks to this hotel, I tried both, didnt like them, saved money, and was able to make an informed choice. Another weird compliment but true. I stayed solo and felt completely safe. I travelled across Scotland for 10 days and stayed in a bunch of places. This was my favourite in terms of the comfort I got for the money I paid.

Stayed for two nights as a base for Central Glasgow and within easy walking distance of the OVO Hydro. Could not be more better located, dead in the centre of the city. Room compact, basic but good value for money. Hot & decent shower - always a plus. Breakfast was plentiful, including cooked which included and alternated between bacon & Haggis. The bagels were exceptionally good. If there was nothing here that took your fancy, I'd argue you were very fussy indeed. Staff friendly, and great artwork with nods to both Scotland and local landmarks were great to see. Walk to Hydro maybe 25 minutes - but do not follow googlemaps - for safety do NOT walk down to the banks of the Clyde and along to the Hydro (not the safest area to be at night) but rather head to St Vincent Street, then walk all the way to the junction with Lidl, take a left and head to the Hydro that way. One final note - the door on Room 510 needs some WD40! (we were unable to find any staff to report this when left as chose the speedy check out option).

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Major Cleanliness Issues I travel frequently and this is the first time I’ve had to leave such a low score. My experience staying in a Queen room at ibis Styles Glasgow was well below acceptable standards. The primary issue throughout the stay was cleanliness and hygiene. Upon entering, the room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, and later in the evening, fresh smoke began drifting in from the corridor. The bedding was unhygienic—there were stray hairs in the bed, and one of the pillows was visibly dirty. The shower tray was also grime-stained and clearly in need of a thorough scrub. Additionally, the room itself felt dark and dingy. The small window faced three surrounding walls, blocking out virtually all natural light. The overall decor felt tired, and the room was simply in need of a serious deep clean. Overall, there needs to be much better oversight from housekeeping before this room is given to another guest. I would not recommend staying here until management addresses these hygiene standards. .

Perfect destination in the city centre. Only stayed for one night with breakfast included. The staff were really nice and friendly, the lady we was first met with on reception had recommended a pub to go to which we did check out and was really nice. The rooms id say has everything you need. Basic items given-Kettle with mugs and condiments to make your drinks, Iron & Board, Clean bedding, clean rooms, cannot fault it at all. Love the favt youve gone with the traffic cone theme inside the room. Would of gave 5 stars but always room for improvement. 😀 Breakfast was good. You got to choose from a mixture of cereals, bread, milks, yoghurt, fruits, pastries, English breakfast. It's nice to have the option of different milks there as alot of places only give Cow milk as we drink Oat milk.

I can’t speak highly enough of Ibis Styles Glasgow Centre if you are looking for budget priced accommodation in an extremely convenient, central walk to everything hotel. The rooms are pretty basic but have their own bathroom, aircon, tv & tea & coffee making facilities. The thing that really makes it is the incredibly friendly, helpful staff and the casual relaxed vibe. The breakfast buffet is also wonderful - catering for all tastes too. A great 4 star venue.

Ibis Styles was above and beyond our expectations. In a great location next to good food, and places to shop. Close to major attractions and bus stops. We ended up with an inside room when we checked in but it still had a window we just were looking at the rest of the rooms. It was more spacious than anticipated when I originally booked. I’d stay there again and would definitely recommend!
