Beautiful hotel with a nice outdoor terrace, lobby and bar area, and spacious, modern rooms, but let down by a few things: - Upon waiting to check in, I was just ignored by multiple reception staff. They were on the phone, which is fine (I don't expect them to just hang up!), but at least make the effort to make eye contact, nod or smile or just acknowledge that you've been seen and that they will be with you in one minute. Just being purposefully ignored is infuriating and doesn't make you feel welcome. - When eventually acknowledged I was made to self check in on a vertical touch screen (like ordering in mcdonalds), which felt like the experience of a budget hotel. It was also frustrating to have to enter endless details, all of which I'd supplied when booking. - Everything seems to take an eternity from checking in, ordering a drink, ordering breakfast etc.. In the morning I gave up after there was no staff at the bar to order brunch, so I went elsewhere. - Food was poor. Pizza rubbish. It was heavy, stodgy and flavourless. - Air con didn't work in room (wouldn't even turn on) and the room was boiling. It's a shame because it has the potential to be fantastic.

For the purpose of our visit the hotel worked well, but perhaps a bit expensive for the quality of the hotel. The lack of cooling for the room was an issue and not being able to open windows was an additional problem. The gym had some good equipment, but was far too small for this size of hotel. The entire room was full by 07:00 each morning with no space for additional people. We could hear everything outside, even normal conversations is the hall. I will look for an alternative next time I am in London. No laundry facilities was another problem.

This visit was a good one (there have been issues in the past). However, it didn’t start well, as I booked Exec Upgrade and there were none available (apparently they are subject to availability, but that isn’t said on the booking form). I found it weird that you can book a type of room and there isn’t one. I also prepaid for parking but there were no spaces (well there were but only if I parked 5mm from another car). Pressing the tiny “i” on the booking form does inform you that parking is subject to availability. I do think that disabled parking spaces should be reservable and saved for Blue Badge holders, but Clayton doesn’t agree. We had a nice room where most things had been thought of (plugs in the right place, mirrors at the right height etc). The toilet was a weird design and too high and not to the normal standard height, I think it must have been an Executive toilet. That said, the seat was made of MDF, was disintegrating and should have been replaced a long time ago. I think it is strange that for early leavers (06.30) that there was no one on reception and no coffee urn (unless I missed it). I asked for Earl Grey tea bags in the room and got fruit tea. I asked for chicken on my Caesar Salad and didn't get it. Despite these issues it was a nice stay and we will go back.

A wonderful cocktail bar within the hotel. Spacious indoor spaces and many tables on the outdoor terrace. The assortment of pies has a very large selection. They are cold or hot enough. Really suitable for business meetings, meetings with friends or individually. There is an opportunity for quiet contact in the booth. The service rooms are clean, accessible and equipped with everything you need. There is also a great parking lot for hotel guests. Extremely efficient and friendly staff ensures the comfort of visitors. I recommend it to everyone!

Thank you for your welcome, support, and care. I enjoyed my stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms and other facilities are clean and very reasonable. The overall value was great. I like the location and the surroundings. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and well serviced. We had a “Deluxe Double” room which was spacious, clean and well presented. Our only complaint was that there was a strong unpleasant smell from the plumbing at all times.
