Can’t wait to be back here when the weather is much better. My mother and I stayed here during the peak of the heatwave and goodness!!! The room was never cold even when the aircon was at its lowest (19deg). The aircon was truly working its hardest and unfortunately nothing can be done, global warming is real, let’s be nicer to Earth. Room was clean and spacious for 2 persons. They had a laundry room too which I managed to take a look at - cosy place to do laundry + sit around and wait if you wanted to! But aside from things that were beyond our control, the hotel was a really great stay. Location was a less than 5 minutes walk from Holborn station. Many cafes/eateries/supermarkets nearby. And the area is constantly full of people but never extremely crowded or congested. Service was great too, never lacking. Recommend to all 10/10

Room a/c did not work and could not be repaired during my stay. I was first told that the room simply needed time to cool down. No. Then one manager said there were no vacant rooms that I could use. At 9:30pm a different manager said she had an available room, but it was half the size of the one that I was paying for. Fans were unavailable, then magically available. I used four to cool the bedroom. Overall, the one-bedroom apartment is much smaller than it appears in pictures on the website. The fridge is not actually a fridge, but some sort of "cooler" and any food you put into it becomes warmer than when you bought it. Other guests have told me that the a/c in their rooms is insufficient, even when working. The windows open a bit but there is no cross-ventillation and there is too much traffic noise to keep the windows open at night. On my second day, I was told at 6:30pm that another room was available; this news showed no concern for the time required to repack, move, unpack again -- and perhaps have dinner. In my view, almost no one working at this hotel understands customer service at all. The location is good, which is useful if your room is too hot to occupy. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware. The water pressure is good.

Super comfortable and modern hotel with lots of space. We got an upgrade and the room felt like a small apartment - living room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. TVs in both rooms and soundproof windows, so no street noise at all. Everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Great shower, and the air conditioning had separate controls in the living room and bedroom. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent - just one block from the metro. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Citadines Holborn for two weeks and had a wonderful experience. The front desk team was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to the young ladies at reception like Ava, Steena, Shuba, Tharu and Melanie for their kindness, professionalism, and warm welcome and greeting with a great smile every day. Genuine hospitality. The location is excellent, close to the main station perfect for exploring London and getting around the city. We also loved the lobby facilities. The complimentary expressos, tea was a lovely touch, and the sparkling water station quickly became one of our favorite amenities. The only area that could be improved is room storage. For guests staying longer periods, some rooms would benefit from a proper closet or more hanging space, as well as a few practical accessories such as trays or containers for personal items. These are small details, but they make a noticeable difference during an extended stay and are worth management’s attention. The breakfast selection was fresh, varied, and of good quality. The café staff were always friendly and welcoming, making us feel more like family than guests. Thank you to the entire team for making our two-week stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to London. 🫶🏼🌷🌷👌🏼

The rooms have been recently renovated, so everything feels clean, fresh, and new! The location is perfect—just a few steps away from Holborn Underground Station, which makes getting around London so convenient. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Tharuka helped provide information and help with anything we needed in the room. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!
