Had a great experience at this hotel. All the staff was extremely nice and attentive when you needed something. The rooms were big and had a nice courtyard. Breakfast included was also very good. The beach and bar steps away from the hotel was beautiful and convenient. The location is about 20 min from the city but the hotel makes up for it and is overall centrally located. Highly recommend and would stay here again if I come back to Curacao!

Overall great stay with a beautiful beach nearby. We recently stayed here as a group of three and had a really wonderful time overall. The hotel itself is incredibly comfortable our room was spacious, clean, and well laid out. We spent a lot of time by the courtyard pool, which is well-appointed, welcoming, and a great place to unwind. The service from the staff was a major highlight. The front desk team was super helpful with everything we needed, and room service was prompt and professional. We opted for the breakfast-inclusive package, and the breakfast each morning was consistently good and a great way to start the day. Location-wise, you can't beat it. It is situated just a couple of meters from the beach—you can walk down to the sand in less than five minutes. The beach itself is beautiful, and it was incredible watching all the pelicans and gulls flying over and fishing throughout the day. We also rented a car through a super easy process, which made exploring the island completely seamless. The beach bar had a vibrant energy to it, especially since the World Cup games were broadcasting while we were there. The only real letdown of our entire stay was the dinner. We decided to eat in at the hotel restaurant for one night, and unfortunately, the consensus among the three of us was that the food fell pretty short of expectations. I won't go into every single detail, but every meal ordered at our table missed the mark, signaling a clear lapse in execution in the kitchen that evening. That being said, it didn’t ruin our trip. It's a fantastic place altogether—just stick to the great breakfast, enjoy the beach and pool, and head out to explore the island's other culinary options for dinner or try your luck:).

Heel mooie plek met een prachtige sfeer 🌿 Wij zijn hier komen eten en alles was erg lekker. De gerechten waren goed bereid en zagen er mooi uit. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Zeker een aanrader!

• We have stayed in many Dutch, British and French Caribbean hotels/resorts. This was the worst. The desk staff act like bureaucrats. • All resort restaurants staff act like bureaucrats being troubled, not customer oriented. We arrived at the beach restaurant at 4 PM. they said they were closed. When we showed them the menu clearly marked lunch from 11 AM to 5 PM, (so we had made a special effort to come at 4 PM ) they reluctantly showed us a table. • Similar experience at the resort restaurant brass boar. We begged for a table on my birthday at lunchtime a little after 2 PM. They refused to seat us indoors although there were many tables eating. They said we could only have a table in the sand. as it was after 2 PM. The table offered in the sand was too close to group of loud people on chaise lounges. They refused to offer us a quieter empty table on the sand even. As we We're leaving we saw another group being seated inside. Also, they told us with their full for dinner. • Each time we tried to have a meal we had similar experiences. • Biggest problem is you feel very captive here - there’s no store, non-resort restaurant or coffee shop within walking distance- not even a minimart! • The only respite (and fun eating out!) we had was going to town, which cost $80 USD return each time. No cars were available for rent either. • There is a lot of false advertising in this property. E.g. They repeatedly invite guests via WhatsApp messages and posters to “join us for morning coffee, “sips and island Tips”, where they promise to give information about island tours. These poster ads have pictures of steaming latte. However, there was no coffee! After asking at the desk, they distractedly pointed to the bar. We had to order and pay $10 USD for coffee and there was no one giving information. Most hotels/resorts have free lobby coffee. • They advertise a Network of walking paths beside the golf course; however they’re closed between six AM and 7 PM when the golf course is open. Meaning you can only walk on the trails in the dark when mosquitoes are out. • Beach was very crowded with cruise shippers. But beautiful for viewing fish right from the beach.

I had a lovely stay at the Bayside Boutique Hotel. The grounds are well kept, and it's clear that management and staff take pride in their work and in making every guest's stay pleasant. They take the time to check in on how you're doing, offer recommendations, and answer any questions you have. The hotel offers entertainment almost every night, from wine tastings to live music on the beach. I stayed in one of the rooms right off the pool, and despite the location I couldn't hear any noise from inside my room. The pool is small, meant for a quick dip to cool off rather than swimming. Luckily, the beach is just steps away and open from 8am to 10pm every day, with plenty of loungers free for hotel guests. I found the best time to go is around 4pm, when the morning crowd starts to clear out and the sun isn't beating down as hard. Stay for the sunset over the water. It's beautiful and a must-see. Food: The resort has four-plus restaurants, but apart from the pizza truck and the fine dining restaurant, the menus are nearly identical. My recommendations: - Breakfast: Farmer's Omelet or the Deluxe American Breakfast, filling enough to hold you until a late lunch. - Lunch: Fish Burger. The fish is fresh, tender, and perfectly fried, and with the fries you won't be hungry until late evening. - Dinner: Al Qalif Pizza (chicken shawarma pizza with garlic sauce) or the Coq au Vin. - Dessert: Ice cream from the pizza truck or the homemade lemon pie. Tips: Buy a case of water on your way from the airport, since a single bottle at the hotel runs $4 to $8. Rooms come with a mini fridge to keep drinks and snacks cool. If you tend to get peckish, bring your own snacks, as there's no shop on-site or nearby for chips or biscuits. Overall, it was a quiet, restful, and enjoyable stay. I'd definitely visit again.
