Very lovely little hotel in great location for all amenities, reception staff all very friendly and professional as were all the breakfast staff. Breakfast good and replenished very regular. Hotel lot's of character with original 200 year old beams and little nooks and crannies. The only downside although the hotel advertises English tv channels the only ones actually offered were BBC World news & CNN. Subtitles were available but only in German & Danish.

Spent three nights here in February and were delighted with our choice. Wonderful location, accommodation and food. We had a Junior Suite with water views. Very charming. Excellent breakfast. We had dinner one night in their Italian restaurant and it was outstanding. Fantastic front desk staff. Highly recommended.

It's not a bad hotel, but the price and the five-star hotel marketing are not representative of the reality of the hotel. They're charging Four Seasons prices for simple, no frills rooms. The room itself was tidy and clean, but the walls are quite thin and we could regularly hear people in the rooms on either side of ours having normal conversations, not even being loud. I'll cut them some slack since it's a historic building, but the design of the room felt quite cramped and we bumped our heads a few times on the angled walls (we were on the top floor). I probably should have spent more time researching the amenities of the hotel before booking, but generally I assume that a 5-star property will have a gym and some kind of sauna, but this hotel has neither. Bathroom amenities were minimal as well. Again, not a bad hotel, but they're marketing themselves as an upmarket luxury hotel (and charging corresponding prices) when it's really just a quite basic hotel with pretty unremarkable rooms. They do offer some higher-end hotel amenities like a pillow menu, which is a nice touch. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the front desk staff were always kind and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but at 4500 DKK a night, I don't think the quality is commensurate with the price being charged.

Me decanté por este hotel ya que tenía buenas reseñas y quería un establecimiento con carácter. El hotel consta de dos edificios colindantes . Nos adjudicaron dos Standard, una individual en la que apenas cabía la cama y otra doble igualmente pequeña y básica. Esta ciudad es muy cara en general pero por más de 500€ la noche esperaba más la verdad. Lo bueno las camas, el desayuno y la atención. El resto no me gustó ni la localización, en plena calle turística por la que es una locura transitar, ni la limpieza muy mejorable, ni la habitación en sí. Armario diminuto..( en la doble porque en la individual solo hay unas perchas) ventanas a una zona de tuberías… En general poco para lo que se paga y esperaba. No volvería, seguro que hay opciones mejores.

Great location, small but clean and modern rooms with a touch of old world with wooden beams. Excellent breakfast. Why not 5 stars? The elevator is a disaster. Waited 10 plus minutes each time as most full—many with staff cleaners—some w trash etc. clearly, no service elevator which is odd. We found ourselves using the stairs in spite of staying on an upper floor.
