SCAM ALERT!!! If you are traveling from the U.S., be extremely cautious about booking this hotel. There appears to be a troubling pattern where guests are charged in full ahead of time, only to be told upon arrival that no rooms are available due to “overbooking.” This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their business practices. Attempting to resolve the issue locally is very difficult, and recovering your money is not straightforward. My experience at the front desk made things worse—staff members, including Javier and Scarlet, were unhelpful, dismissive, and at times even aggressive. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel to prevent the risk of losing your money and dealing with unnecessary stress during your trip.

Tuve una buena experiencia en el hotel. El check-in fue rápido y el personal transmite mucha seguridad, algo que se agradece durante la estadía. Cuenta con buen parqueo y se percibe un ambiente seguro en general. La comida es muy rica y bastante abundante, además tiene buenas instalaciones como piscina, bar y restaurantes que hacen el lugar cómodo para pasar el tiempo sin salir del hotel. Como detalle a mejorar, las paredes son un poco delgadas y si algún vecino hace mucho ruido puede llegar a escucharse. Servicio al cuarto disponible, hay ducha y viene con jabon, acondicionador shampoo , gorra para cabello, buen servicio de limpieza a la habitacion, secadora de cabello, armario, escritorio, espejo, batas, paños, café, mini refri, sillón, y televisor. Iluminación muy bonita y la cama bien presentable. Aun así, es un hotel muy orientado a turistas y viajes de negocios, práctico y agradable para hospedarse.

Una experiencia completamente frustrante e inaceptable. Llegué al hotel listo para hospedarme y pagar en efectivo, pero en recepción me exigieron presentar una identificación física como condición obligatoria para poder registrarme. No ofrecieron ninguna alternativa ni solución razonable, simplemente indicaron que era “política del hotel”. Como resultado, me negaron el check-in y me dejaron sin alojamiento en plena noche, sin ningún tipo de flexibilidad o consideración por la situación. Para un hotel de este nivel, el trato fue rígido, poco práctico y totalmente desconectado de la realidad de un huésped que ya estaba en el lugar listo para quedarse. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.

SCAM ALERT!!! Avoid this hotel at all costs—especially if you’re traveling from the U.S. They charge you in full ahead of time, then claim they’re “fully booked” when you arrive and refuse to give you a room. Getting your money back is extremely difficult, and the situation feels highly suspicious. Front desk staff (Javier and Scarlet) were rude, aggressive, and completely unhelpful. This place shows clear signs of a systematic scam. Do not risk it.

Outdated rooms with carpet. Musty carpet smell overpowered by air freshener. Can hear street noise in rooms. Location close to Parque la Sabana but nothing else. Ended up driving everywhere for meals or tourist attractions. Wasn't impressed with on-site food and there weren't much other food options within walking distance. Fine for an overnight stay before flying out as they have a free monitored parking lot for the rental car. Wouldn't recommend unless you only want to see Parque la Saban or are fine driving everywhere in the city.

Absolutely excellent hotel in San Jose. Super easy to reach from the airport with a secured parking place for your rental. The rooms are clean, bigger than average I‘d say and we had a marvelous view from the 9th floor to the mountains and over the city. At night it’s super quite (only the AC is a bit noisy). Bathroom is in excellent shape and well equipped (hairdryer e.g.). The best in my eyes was the breakfast buffet 😍 Fresh fruits, fresh omelets etc. everything is fresh and super tasty! If you‘re starting your trip through CR is might geht handy that right across the street is a small super market which provides everything (snacks and drinks) you might require for long driving distances 👍🏻 We can absolutely recommend this hotel! Staff was as well very friendly and helpful! Only „negative“ thing… the ATM which is provided takes a fee which comes on top… other ATM‘s doesn’t do that. Better use the BCR ATM‘s all over the country 👍🏻
