Perfect start to our Costa Rica holiday. Just a short drive from San Jose airport. Spacious rooms, wonderful food and fantastic service. We really enjoyed the hiking trail to the waterfalls, the evening sunset painting and morning yoga at the Spa. We stayed for 2x as a family of four. Thank-you.

I’m still amazed by how secluded and serene this hotel feels even if it’s super close to the city. My husband and I had a super relaxing time with delicious food and beautiful walks through the perfectly manicured gardens as well as strenuous hikes. We usually like to rent a car and venture out to other spots but we were so pleased with this hotel that we ended staying most of our time here enjoying the amenities. The highlight was our spa treatment, Irene and Lisbeth were amazing, truly can’t recommend them enough.

Amazing stay, so glad we accidentally found this place. We’re just looking for a little reprieve from the city but didn’t want to drive far and this is it. The staff was so warm and helpful and accommodating. They were especially great and warm with my six year old son, making the experience exceptional. The rooms were beautiful, pools were warm and not too crowded. We will return for sure.

At the end of a trip to Costa Rica with a few friends, we stayed to Xandari Resort & Spa. We stayed in the Star Villa which was peaceful with a stunning view. The bedrooms were large and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and luxurious. It was really nice to have a large common space in the living room, dining room & kitchen. The kitchen could have used some towels or hot pads, but we ended up at the amazing restaurant for all our meals so it was sort of a moot point. The restaurant had fantastic food, a *wonderful* view, and Oscar and the other staff made us feel special. Lucy in the spa went above and beyond to make our stay wonderfully memorable and Yoselin, Lisbeth, Marcela & Irene were skilled and professional. The grounds at Xandari are safe and stunning and it was wonderful to see the twinkling stars on our way back to room from dinner. Take the time to hike on the property to see the waterfalls but make sure to wear sturdy shoes. Make time to to visit Xandari while in Costa Rica!

We did not stay at the resort but we spent the afternoon at the spa and it was wonderful! Irene and Deymi gave my husband and I the best chocolate treatments and massages! The staff at the spa were so sweet and friendly. The location is beautiful and dinner after our treatments at the resort restaurant was delicious. It was a glorious way to end our vacation!

Beautiful property, the waterfalls and jungle hike, heated pools are the highlights. Wonderful service too. The beds are very firm, too firm for my liking but doable for a short stay.
