Bedbugs We stayed at this hotel for one week. After every night, we noticed multiple extremely itchy red bites on our bodies. On the second-to-last morning, we realized they were caused by bedbugs. I went to the bathroom and found a bedbug lying upside down on the ledge above the toilet, directly below the air vent. This made me worry that the problem might not have been limited to just one room. Bedbugs are extremely difficult and expensive to get rid of. After returning home, we took every precaution possible. Straight from the airport, we paid to have our belongings frozen, froze everything else we could ourselves, and washed our clothes at 60-90°C. Despite all of this, we are now dealing with suspected bedbugs at home as well. The way the hotel handled the situation has been just as disappointing. At first, they acknowledged the problem and promised a €157 refund. However, one month later, I still have not received it. I was told that my banking details were incorrect, which they were not. Nevertheless, I immediately provided my bank details again to avoid any further delays. After that, my messages went unanswered for weeks. Only after I mentioned leaving a public review did I receive another apology and was told the refund would be processed. It still has not been paid. The €157 itself is not the main issue. The real issue is how poorly this situation has been handled after the hotel acknowledged the problem. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before booking here. I truly hope no one else has to experience what we did, turning a dream vacation into a bedbug nightmare.

Zdecydowanie polecam ten hotel. Pokoje są czyste, obsługa bardzo uprzejma, śniadanie smaczne, a parking jest dostępny bezpłatnie. Lokalizacja jest dogodna, choć do starego miasta jest pewien dystans, można tam jednak dojść pieszo.

Servizio da migliorare nel caso di gruppi come pure il buffet x gruppi, non è sufficiente per 100 persone e a volte qualità scarsa. Molto meglio per gruppi meno numerosi. Nei casi di non gruppi servizio ottimo. Manca l'acqua di benvenuto. Belle camere con il minimo indispensabile nei bagni. Bus e tram davanti al albergo

Po 13 valandų už vairo atvežiau beveik 40 užsieniečių. Deja, vietoj kokybiško poilsio man buvo suteiktas kambarys pirmame aukšte, šalia liftų, dar ir pritaikytas neįgaliesiems, "su puikiu vaizdu pro langą". Nors aš nesu neįgalus, ir tokiame kambaryje jaustis yra tiesiog nemalonu bei psichologiškai nejauku. Dėl nuolatinio triukšmo iš koridoriaus ir lifto zonos nebuvo įmanoma ramiai pailsėti – tai tarsi praėjimo kiemas. Be to, kambaryje buvo purvinos grindys (vos kelis žingsnius žengiau – kojinės iškart tapo nešvarios), o vonioje radau plaukų. Vairuotojai atlieka sunkų darbą, užtikrindami jūsų klientų atvykimą, ir tikimės bent minimalaus pagarbaus požiūrio. Dabartinė situacija kelia didelį nusivylimą. Deja, čia turėsiu sugrįžti dar ne kartą, nes tai ne mano valia, tačiau labai tikiuosi, kad ateityje požiūris į vairuotojus pasikeis ir mums nebus skiriami patys prasčiausi kambariai.

The hotel offers excellent value for money. The location is good, about 2 km from Riga Old Town. It is easy to reach the city centre by public transport, electric scooter or even on foot. Free parking in a gated car park was a big advantage. Our room was spacious and had a comfortable king-size bed with two soft pillows (for both of us) and cosy duvets. There was also a small fridge with enough space for our own drinks and snacks. The view overlooked the parking lot, but in the distance we could also see a park and the Ferris wheel, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was good with a nice selection of food. The reception staff were friendly, and communication in English was easy. We also liked that the hotel has a souvenir shop where you can buy not only souvenirs but also drinks, snacks and basic toiletries. There is also a hotel bar, restaurant and a spa offering treatments such as massages. Overall, the hotel felt comfortable and welcoming. There were only a few minor downsides. The room had one table, but otherwise there was very little counter or storage space. The bathroom only had a narrow glass shelf above the sink, which was not very practical for toiletries or makeup bags. The hand towels were placed on a low rail underneath the sink and kept falling off. The room felt stuffy when we first arrived, but after opening the window and turning on the air conditioning, the air became fresh and stayed comfortable for the rest of our stay. Breakfast was only served until 10 a.m. on weekdays, which felt too early. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this hotel.
