German Couple: My husband and I spent 10 days here on our honeymoon. During this time, we truly appreciated the consistently warm and welcoming staff. Not only the culture, but also the staff have perfected friendliness, wit, and helpfulness. Over the 10 days, we participated in several activities offered by the hotel and its entertainment team (especially Saggio) and didn't regret a single second. You get a unique glimpse into the realities of local life without feeling like a mere tourist. Everything is done with a respectful distance. The spa offers a wide range of massages and treatments that are truly exceptional. In Germany, we would have paid twice as much for treatments that were only half as good and intensive. I booked two 75-minute massages and a facial and felt completely pampered afterward. All in all, I have absolutely no complaints about the vacation; the only downside is that the beach isn't suitable for swimming. We stayed in the Beach Front Villa and were not disappointed by the comfort and beautiful design. All in all, a holiday and especially a resort that we highly recommend.

We have just spent a week at Matemwe Attitude for the final part of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to end an unforgettable trip. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. A special thank you to Antonia, the Front of House Manager, who made check-in and check-out effortless and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. It was reassuring to know she was always around to help with anything we needed. The service from all of the staff was exceptional, but we’d particularly like to recognise Anthony and Victoria from the bar and restaurant team. They were always friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make every day enjoyable. Their genuine warmth really made our stay even more special. The food exceeded all expectations. The all-inclusive buffet was honestly one of the best we’ve ever experienced, with a fantastic variety and consistently high quality. The beachfront à la carte restaurant was also excellent, and the special honeymoon dinner the team prepared for us was a truly memorable experience that we’ll never forget. The hotel itself is beautiful—spotlessly clean, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The drinks were excellent, and there was a great choice of excursions available. We booked both the snorkelling trip and Safari Blue through the hotel, and both were fantastic experiences that we would highly recommend. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The combination of the beautiful location, exceptional food and drinks, fantastic excursions, and, above all, the incredible staff made this a holiday we’ll always remember. Thank you to everyone at Matemwe Attitude for making our honeymoon so special. We hope to return one day!

I stayed in the Deluxe Villa for 4 nights for my honeymoon in July 2026 and it was incredible. The room was beautifully designed and kept making our stay comfortable in every way. The Reception team (Antonia, Martha, Aliya, Nelson, Nasma, Ibrahim & Kelvin) were welcoming, warm and accommodating. They were always ready to help with any of our needs at any time. The restaurant staff were just as amazing. The chefs Ahmed, Yusuf and Mohammed made wonderful varied meals with support from skilled staff such as Silvia. Lillian, Abbas, Nejma and Maulid all provided service to make the experience special. Also a mention of Hassan who oversaw food and beverages. Excursions and activities with the Entertainment team kept the days interesting. A thank you to Saggio and Dai for their energy and knowledge. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

This hotel was lovely and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The location is very picturesque. Some recommendations would be music during the day by the pool, the evening entertainment however was fantastic. The hotel could look to speaking to the beach boys either side of the hotel to stop them persistently pestering guests as soon as they went on the beach. It is not a beach hotel as stated online, the tide leaves extensive amounts of seaweed on the beach. The hotel wasn’t great for coeliacs however some options were provided. Cleaning could be improved. It was an amazing buffet with different options most evenings, but the alcohol options could be improved. The hotel offers yoga on some evenings which was also very good. You couldn’t really leave the hotel for excursions, but that’s what Zanzibar is all about. The snorkelling offered by the hotel was great. The road leading up to the hotel is really bad and rocky. If the hotel had a gym it would be the perfect stay :). The outside area was exceptionally clean, including the restaurants! All in all, lovely place and lovely people, just a few recommendations!

We had the most fantastic stay at Matemwe Attitude. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and friendly service made us feel welcome and relaxed. The hotel is in a beachfront location with a very peaceful atmosphere, the ocean views are amazing. The resort is tranquil and has a environment and eco-conscious approach. We stayed in a swim up pool villa, it was spacious,stylish and offered complete privacy.... There was great variety of food both local and international dishes. The warmth and attentiveness of the team and management was fantastic. Their hospitality was exceptional and added a personal touch to our stay. Matemwe Attitude is the perfect place to relax... We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Cudowne miejsce na ziemi! Obsługa hotelu na medal, wspaniale opiekują się gośćmi hotelowymi, zawsze uśmiechnięci :) wybitne jedzenie, bardzo urozmaicone, można zjeść dania serwowane lub bufetowe. Dania iście restauracyjne, nie raz podczas naszego pobytu zachwalaliśmy szefa kuchni na Fukwe! Człowiek z dużym wyczuciem smaku :) Jeżeli szukacie miejsca na totalny wypoczynek z pysznym jedzeniem to koniecznie sprawdźcie ten hotel! Z dodatków polecamy lokalnego przewodnika: Squalo Zanzibaro, którego można znaleźć na GoogleMaps, młody chłopak, który oprowadzi Was po wyspie jak nikt inny- punktualny, odpowie na każde pytanie :) Z chęcią wrócę tam ponownie!
