Quiero dejar constancia de una situación muy desagradable y fuera de lugar que mis amigas y yo vivimos recientemente en la plataforma de madera que el Hotel Romántica tiene instalada sobre las rocas, junto a la playa des Cabots. Vamos a nadar a esta zona a diario. Normalmente nos ubicamos en las rocas, pero en ocasiones, por falta de espacio, no nos queda más remedio que dejar nuestras bolsas sobre la plataforma de madera mientras nos bañamos. Por supuesto, lo hacemos sin ocupar ni utilizar en ningún momento las hamacas o sombrillas de pago del hotel. El conflicto surgió cuando una clienta del hotel nos exigió de muy malas maneras que nos fuéramos de la plataforma porque quería mover su hamaca. Al negarnos y explicarle que es un espacio público, otros clientes extranjeros se nos echaron encima con una actitud hostil y llamaron a una empleada del hotel. Para nuestra sorpresa, la empleada también intentó echarnos. Nos mantuvimos firmes en nuestra postura, defendiendo nuestros derechos y, al ver que no íbamos a ceder, la empleada finalmente se marchó. Me gustaría recordarle a la dirección del Hotel Romántica que, de acuerdo con la Ley de Costas, esa plataforma está situada en el dominio público marítimo-terrestre. El pago de un canon concesional les otorga el derecho a explotar el alquiler de su mobiliario, pero en ningún caso convierte la costa en su propiedad privada ni les da autoridad para expulsar a los ciudadanos. El libre tránsito y la estancia en esa instalación son derechos de todos. Espero que la dirección tome medidas urgentes para formar adecuadamente a su personal sobre la normativa legal vigente y, de paso, informe a sus clientes para que dejen de actuar como si fueran los dueños de un espacio que pertenece a la ciudadanía.

Perfect location just a short walk to shops and beaches, with direct access to a crystal clear sea from the provided platform and steps. Perfect for snorkeling and under water photography The atmosphere in the hotel is spot on for families with lots of entertainment including some quality acts. The food cannot be faulted plenty of options fir dinner and tea. I put 8lb on .loll. The rooms are spotless and well provided for in terms of plug sockets, USB etc. With large showers and comfortable vedsThe staff are amazing, nothing being too much trouble and we as a family would whole heartedly recomend Universal Romantica to anyone looking for a holiday that can be done at their pace.

We had a brilliant 4 night stay in this hotel! Very modern, clean and well run. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. At check-in we were told about the costal path and the town nearby - the costal walk had some lovely scenery! The food at the hotel was good quality, fresh and had plenty of variety. We watched a few stunning sunsets from the sky bar. We wanted to have a short but peaceful holiday to unwind and that’s exactly what we got, couldn’t have asked for better and we would definitely return here to stay again.

Pros - All staff absolutely amazing, so attentive and helpful. Drinks branded and delicious. Suite with sea view was beautiful, very clean, netflix in both living space and bedroom - with massive balcony with 2 loungers and table and chairs. The sky lounge was definitely a highlight, the views were unreal, beach front. Pool is a lovely temperature. Always lots of salad, ham and cheese options on buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a tram train that picks up outside the hotel and goes between 12 station stops between the hotel and a beautiful sandy beach with clear waters - picks up every hour from 9am onwards till 9pm with a 2 hour break at 1.30pm. Wednesday market, 10 minute walk away, says 4-9pm, go at 5pm earliest as they start setting up at 4pm. Go to dughi's burger place which is a right out of the hotel, 2 minute walk, you won't regret it! - We wish we ate here all week (only tried on last night) SERIOUSLY, GO!!! Cons - Just be aware that not everything is included in all inclusive. Standard local wine, beer and some cocktails are , along with fizzy drinks (which are branded 🙂) but majority of other cocktails and wines still have a smaller charge to pay. The 'snacks' are basically non existent. Fruit and a couple of already made up sandwiches in boxes. No tequila sunrise which is my go to holiday drink, even though having the stuff to make it, they still wouldnt/couldn't because wasn't on menu. Food was okay, very repetitive, but just okay - literally can't say more than that. Entertainment was not great, a few singers on a night and then a few ping pong games during the day round the pool. I suppose a holiday is what you make it and despite the negatives , we still had a great time away.

Wir waren eine Woche im Hotel. Glück mit dem Wetter hatten wir auch! Das uns zugewiesenen Zimmer (direkt in der Gebäudekante) hat uns nicht gefallen. Wir haben nachgefragt und es wurde ein Tausch in Aussicht grstellt am nächsten Tag. Chefin Frau M. hat sich persönlich, freundlich und professionell darum gekümmert und wir haben ein Zimmer bekommen, mit dem wir sehr zufrieden waren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sauberes Zimmer, angehmes Ambiente, Frühstücksbuffet klasse und abends immer frischen Salat, Fisch, Fleisch, Gemüse und auch alles andere in sehr guter Qualität und ausreichend vorhanden. Und wenn die Menschen, die dort für dich arbeiten auch noch lächeln ist der Aufemthalt schön. ...umd die Getränkepreise zur Halbpension sind preiswert.

Alles neu und modern, die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, die Matratzen und vor allem die Kissen ausgesprochen bequem und die Wasserkaraffe kann man sich auf dem Flur mit frisch gefiltertem Wasser beliebig oft auffüllen. Die Buffets sind zu allen Mahlzeiten abwechslungsreich und es gibt sehr viele frische und gesunde Lebensmittel. Ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bietet einen tatsächlich tollen Ausblick, liegt allerdings auch über Pool, Poolbar und Restaurant - wenn auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt wird, ist das vermutlich ziemlich laut.
