Let me start of by saying how surprised I am with all the reviews. I’m surprised to see the people are so picky about the littlest things. The only reason why I gave four out of five stars was because they have 12 pools at this resort, but no hot tubs. There was barely anyone in the pool because how cold the pool water was! We asked the receptionist if they had a hot tub and they mentioned no only in the spa which you would have to pay $400 USD per person to use the spa area. Overall, our stay was great at this resort. Every single server had a smile on their face, very polite and friendly! But they do give priority to preferred members. We were not forced about the time share presentation. They asked us once, and we politely said and no, and they never asked us again. I highly recommend the resort if you don’t care for the hot tubs. I’m naturally a very cold person so I couldn’t enjoy the pools. I do highly recommend the beach club! Which is included in the resort package. Beautiful water, excellent service and they have a free shuttle.

We spent our honeymoon at this hotel and in the beginning we were not quite sure if we wanted to and was contemplating changing our hotel. We were absolutely blown away once we got to the hotel with the facility, service and food. The hotel offered a lot of activities throughout the day and all the staff were super friendly. Special thanks to Nataly who went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. She made great recommendations and was always hand to assist. I will definitely recommend taking up the Preferred package when booking.

Secrets Tulum Resort is absolutely gorgeous, and the overall aesthetic is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well designed. Unfortunately, I found the food to be disappointing for the price point of this resort. I did not enjoy any of my meals during my stay, as much of the food tasted flash-frozen and lacked the quality I would expect from an all-inclusive resort in this category. If high-quality food is important to you, I would not personally recommend this resort. Our first room also had a strong mildewy smell, and the air conditioning was not functioning properly. After bringing the issue to the staff’s attention, they accommodated us with a different room, which was perfect. The AC worked well, and there were no odor issues, so I appreciated their willingness to resolve the problem. One thing I found particularly challenging was navigating the resort. It is very large, and I frequently found myself getting lost trying to find restaurants and other amenities. I believe better signage throughout the property would greatly improve the guest experience. In fact, we missed dining at one of the restaurants entirely because we could not find it. Overall, the resort is visually stunning with beautiful accommodations, but the food quality and difficulty navigating the property kept it from being the luxury experience I was expecting.

We recently stayed for about a week at Secrets as a couple on vacation. After a day of travel, up on entering the main resort to check in, you are intercepted by someone in VIP services trying to sell you a timeshare presentation and insist on a day and time to take you over to the other resort for a presentation. They also want you to sign something which we declined. It’s seemed the focus was just trying to get you to come back instead of focusing on your current stay. This threw me off and was not a great start to vacation. However, the resort and beach club are gorgeous. The wait staff and concierge and shuttle drivers are courteous, friendly and helpful. Jasmine was our favorite restaurant but the others, including the buffet were nothing special. The portions are small so best to order a few things. We did the hydrotherapy and couples massage and that was the highlight of our time. The pools and chairs are plentiful. Be mindful, if you were staying in the beach club as we were the last shuttle to the club is at 10:30 PM. Overall a great stay.

This property is absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway without the crowds, this resort delivers. The aesthetics, atmosphere, and overall serenity were exactly what I was looking for, and I especially appreciated that the property never felt overcrowded. I work in customer service and in the business of developing and establishing new communities to brand standards, so I pay close attention to the details that create a lasting impression. While the staff was nice enough, I unfortunately didn’t experience the level of customer service that created that memorable “wow” factor. Gabrielle was the exception who assisted with craft bracelet activity. He was kind, patient, attentive, and made me feel genuinely comfortable and welcome. That type of interaction is incredibly valuable in today’s hospitality industry. The gentleman who was helping him lack customer service and should be happy I don’t react to rude unhappy people. I should be the one upset I made it to this event a minute late because their time share invite kept me from enjoying multi activities because I was there for for 5 hours vs 90 minutes and missed out on a whole day of activities. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience but to squeeze me in for a shorter rush massage I still had to pay for because they were about to close. Sebastian in the Portofino restaurant was amazing also. A property can be absolutely stunning, but without the right people creating memorable experiences, it can be difficult to build the kind of loyalty that makes guests want to return over and over again. Overall, the customer service felt somewhat stale and lacked the warmth and personal touch I was hoping for. A few other areas could use improvement. I really wish the fitness center were open 24 hours. The current hours made it difficult to fit in a workout once the day’s activities started, and I often felt rushed trying to work my workout around everything else. The beach area was beautiful, and I loved the setup leading down to the beach. Having a bar, food options, and plenty of lounge space made it a great place to relax. My biggest frustration at the beach was the vendors standing around the gate and calling out to guests from the beach trying to sell products. I understand that this is part of the local environment, but it made it difficult to simply walk outside the gate, take pictures, and enjoy the ocean without constantly being approached or yelled at. I would strongly encourage the resort to find a way to create a more protected and peaceful transition from the resort to the beach. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and think this property has a lot going for it. The beauty, serenity, amenities, and uncrowded atmosphere are definite strengths. With stronger, more engaging customer service and a few improvements to the guest experience, I believe this resort could go from being a beautiful place to stay to a place guests genuinely look forward to returning to.

Nous sommes venus passer notre lune de miel,15 jours merveilleux Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours une petite attention ,un sourire,... Les nombreuses piscines sont propres et les extérieurs sont bien entretenu Les différents restaurants permettent de manger variés . Nous avions tous les jours un message de Nathaly notre concierge, elle a été exceptionnelle pour que notre séjour se passe le mieux possible toujours a vouloir nous aider en cas de soucis. Les animations étaient sympathique avec un gros coup de coeur pour Enrique, il m était une excellente ambiance , dommage que les animations finissent si tôt. Le seul point négatif ne vient pas du personnel de l hôtel mais des clients,aucun respect avec les enceintes a la piscine et leur musique forte ,ce qui est très désagréable. Nous recommandons cet hôtel à 100 % Merci à tous pour votre gentillesse et votre bienveillance Kevin et Laëtitia ( les Français)
