We had an amazing stay at Maroma Beach! The resort is conveniently located just a short drive from Cancun International Airport, making travel easy and stress-free. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered beautiful views of the pools, grounds, and ocean. We highly recommend upgrading to the Preferred Club—it was well worth it for the added amenities and outstanding service. What truly made this vacation special was the incredible staff. Josue at the Cocoa Café made every morning better with excellent coffee and a warm smile. Hector and the entertainment team kept everyone engaged throughout the day, and the nightly shows were fantastic—don't miss the Asado Fire Show! The dining options were excellent, and Freddie at the World Café always made us feel welcome. Our couples massage with Selene and Alexandra was one of the highlights of our trip, and Lucia made the hydrotherapy experience relaxing and enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Patricia from housekeeping, Roger our Preferred Club concierge, Marrissio for keeping our room stocked, Antonio C. for outstanding beach service, and Zayda, whose kindness and professionalism truly exemplify world-class hospitality. There was some seasonal seaweed during our visit, but the resort worked continuously throughout the day to keep the beach clean, and we appreciated their efforts. Overall, this was an exceptional vacation. The beautiful property is impressive, but it's the people who truly make Maroma Beach a destination worth returning to. We can't wait to visit again!

Our stay at Secrets Maroma was absolutely incredible, but what truly made this trip unforgettable was the extraordinary kindness and care shown by the staff. I am a breast cancer survivor, and during our trip the team planned a surprise that completely overwhelmed me in the best possible way. They secretly coordinated with my friends to record messages celebrating my journey and recovery. They spent their own time helping put everything together, and then surprised me by inviting me on stage during one of the evening shows and playing the video in front of everyone. It is seriously one of the nicest things I’ve ever experienced and one of the nicest things that has happened to me. The video was filled with heartfelt messages from people I love, and the audience’s support and encouragement made the entire experience feel like a dream. It is a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life. I want to give special recognition to Isabel Rabelo, who was the mastermind behind the entire surprise and even stayed after hours to make sure everything came together. Thank you to Leonardo Somohano for recording the videos, Daniel Macuil for helping host the event and for the thoughtful souvenir, and DJ Daniel for putting the video together. What you created was so much more than entertainment—it was a gift that touched my heart in a way I will never forget. The entire resort was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the staff consistently went above and beyond. But it was this act of kindness and compassion that made Secrets Maroma stand out from any resort I’ve ever visited. Thank you for creating a memory that my friends and I will treasure forever.

We had an amazing time at this resort! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there and everything from the food to the service to the amenities to the spa was amazing. It was honestly one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The dining options for dinner were incredible - our favorite restaurants were the French and Mexican restaurants but they all were delicious. Our only regret was not staying longer. We are already planning our return. Special shout out to Miguel our concierge who was a wonderful support during our trip.

A solid 10/10 experience at Secrets Maroma Resort. Food and amenities are great, service is AMAZING. Everyone we met had bright smile shining on their face, we felt so welcomed and appreciated. I've got a taste of variety but this resort makes me wanna go back again. Special thanks to our concierge Roger, he made this place a home away from home, and we felt so lucky to stay in his building. I'd especially like to mention the housekeepers we never even met -- they were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Unlike some resorts, their service never felt forced or overly performative. They simply went above and beyond in doing their jobs, making our entire stay ultra comfortable.

Paying preferred club price for a room with no privacy to the ppl walking on the sidewalk. Room 2610 smells like mold/mildew. Management has been appalling. First and last time here. Do better Maroma! Our stay here has just been mediocre. So much so, we are actually leaving an entire day early just to get back home and out of this place. Our concerns were met with sarcastic responses and we had to suggest certain efforts be made to make the room experience more enjoyable...not one staff member could offer what we came up with on our own regarding lighting for the swim out pool we paid for. The entire time, the pool lights have been off at night and each day we were told it was fixed and ready for the following night. Turned out to be a lie. Wasn't until we asked for some kind of temporary lighting that they finally thought to try and accommodate. Insane. We will be disputing and NEVER going to anything Hyatt or secrets related. This is NOT the luxury we were promised. We work hard for our money and this was supposed to be a special birthday trip. Well instead spend my birthday traveling back to the states. Anything is better than staying another night here. SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED.

What an amazing family trip this week. Secrets Maroma food and service was top notch! All delicious. They paid attention to every single detail & always attentive. Loved the sunglass cleaning at the pool along with all of the activities. Special shout out to the following people that made our trip very special. Hugo (server during Asado), Isabel (pool entertainment), Victor (pool server), Antonio (server at Hibachi on Fri 8/14), Wilberth (amazing chef at hibachi), World Cafe Buffet team - Yulmar, Freddy, and Antonio). Can’t wait to come back! Thanks Maroma team! Amazing job.
