I tried afternoon tea at Kempinski Residences & Suites Doha and honestly it’s one of the most elegant tea experiences in the city. The setting feels very refined and quiet, with a luxury hotel atmosphere that makes everything feel a bit more special from the moment you sit down. The afternoon tea itself was really well presented. You get a nice selection of finger sandwiches, pastries, scones, and sweets, all served beautifully on tiered stands. The pastries were delicate and fresh, and the balance between sweet and savory was well done. The scones were especially nice with cream and jam, which made the whole experience feel very classic. The tea selection was also good, with a variety of blends to choose from, and everything was served in a calm, unhurried way. What stood out most was the service — attentive without being intrusive, which matches the overall hotel vibe. Overall, Kempinski afternoon tea is a great option if you want a quiet, luxurious experience with good food, nice presentation, and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for catching up or celebrating something small.

Exceptional service from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and despite arriving at 7:00 a.m. after an early morning flight, the hotel had our room ready, allowing us to check in immediately. This thoughtful gesture made a huge difference after a long journey. A special thank you to the incredible recreational staff, especially Domonic, who was friendly, professional, and made every activity enjoyable. The breakfast reception staff and all the dining staff were consistently welcoming, attentive, and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. A big thank you as well to Hamza at reception for his professionalism and warm hospitality. We also greatly appreciated the security team, especially Elizabeth, who was always courteous, friendly, and made us feel safe and welcome. The staff in the Red Team also deserve recognition for their hard work and excellent customer service. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and willingness to help made this one of the best hotel experiences we've had. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

As a resident of Doha, I am well-acquainted with the city's exceptionally high standards for luxury and hospitality. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this property fell incredibly short of those expectations. When choosing a premium five-star hotel, you expect proactive, seamless, and executive-level care. Instead, I was met with remarkably unhelpful and indifferent customer service. Some staff showed a complete lack of urgency and professionalism, leaving issues entirely unresolved and turning what should have been a premium experience into a highly frustrating one. A luxury facade means very little if the foundational service is missing. For a hotel of this caliber, the current level of guest care is entirely unacceptable. I sincerely hope management takes immediate steps to address the shortcomings of their front-of-house teams, as the current standard is a poor reflection of Doha’s luxury hospitality industry. Or maybe it’s just us who experience this treatment. There were only two people who gave us warmth and accommodate us throughout our stay. To Hamza and Apple, we appreciate your kind gesture and you two have been very helpful to us.

Our stay at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha was truly wonderful and we consider it a very successful experience. The service was excellent – professional, attentive, and always delivered with a smile. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing from the very beginning. The hotel itself is a magnificent place – elegant, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located. It offers a luxurious atmosphere while still feeling warm and welcoming. We would especially like to express our sincere appreciation to Carolyne, lifeguard Dominic, Chef Talal, and the irreplaceable Walid – thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and for making our stay even more special. We truly look forward to coming back!

It’s been a while since our return back home and for all positive memories to sattle. I would like to give a special recognition to Elisabeth at the hotel security check for her exceptional professionalism and warm, attentive manner. She created a welcoming and reassuring first impression, setting the tone for a truly pleasant stay. Also for the welcome deck staf who made sure to assist us with all need we had and to make our stay unique.
