From the outside, the Scandic Central is glass and sharp angles. On the inside, it is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. In our room, there are several places to hang clothes, but no drawers. You also need to leave your key in the card slot by the door in order to access the power and lights. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a wide variety of food that is so fresh! There is something for everyone. When registering, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel every morning. Make sure to ask what the difference in cost is to add breakfast to your reservation when checking in versus purchasing breakfast the day of. It might be less expensive to add it on at check in. The hotel is close yo the bus and train stations as well as the Nordstan mall and other shopping and points of interest. There is a lot of construction in the area. We cannot hear it from our room, but it does add time to getting to your destination.

Vært på Scandic før, men dette var sykt skuffende. Hotellet ser pent ut, men rommene er skitne overalt bortsett fra på badet. Enkelte av sengene på hotellet hadde flekker av kroppsvæsker, og dette ble ikke gjort noe med på forespørsel. Om du kan, styr unna

This hotel is centrally located near train station. But access to it is complicated. There are road works going on, when you fire up the maps , takes you in wrong direction. We spent two nights . Rooms was nice , clean and didn’t have kettle but when you asked at reception, they gave it breakfast was excellent, expecially for vegterian like me .

Mycket bekvämt boende med ett fantastiskt läge. Frukosten var bra och familjerummet fungerade överlag väl. Det enda vi saknade på rummet var en garderob, särskilt i ett familjerum där man ofta stannar flera dagar. Personalen var hjälpsam, men kommunikationen var ganska knapp och ibland lite reserverad. Det som däremot störde mig var att man själv måste boka städning av rummet. Det kan jag ändå förstå och acceptera. Däremot förväntar jag mig på ett fyrstjärnigt hotell att en begäran om påfyllning av produkter i badrummet och byte av handdukar hanteras fullt ut. När vi bad om detta fick vi endast nya handdukar, medan övriga produkter inte fylldes på. Det är ingen ovanlig eller orimlig önskan och därför blev vi lite besvikna.

Breakfast pretty bland, repetitive (I never salt my food but had to here). Got a card that did not function on elevators for some reason. No info at check-in that you have to book housekeeping a day prior. I asked them to do my room at the reception, they were "going to get back to me", I came back later and obviously nothing was done. Had to drag in new towels. Forget spontaneously leaving and coming back to a fresh room. Probably a scheme to save money and make it a pain to order housekeeping, guess it's rough times with inflation etc. Lots of construction around so also a pain and an eye sore, plus is central location though. Room has no small details like instant coffee, tea, a cooker. Nada. No fridge either. I wonder what I paid for, honestly. But hey at least there were 20 toilets by the reception (?).

Modern hotel met genoeg te doen voor het hele gezin! ⭐️ Het hotel is modern en mooi ingericht en we hebben hier een fijn verblijf gehad. Het eten ’s avonds was prima en zeker goed voor een avondje in het hotel. De rooftop is echt een aanrader! Heerlijk om daar ’s avonds nog een drankje te doen en even te genieten van de sfeer. Ook voor de kinderen is er genoeg te doen. Karten raden we zeker aan en ook de VR-brillen waren een succes. De Oceanboot is trouwens écht een aanrader — vooral met de kinderen een leuke ervaring! Voor het parkeren kozen wij voor Nordstan. Dat was een stuk goedkoper en vanaf daar is het ongeveer 5 minuten lopen naar het hotel. Ideaal! Al met al een modern en gezellig hotel met genoeg mogelijkheden voor gezinnen. Zeker een aanrader! 😊
