Panorama Bungalows El Gouna

After an incredible stay at another resort, we spent the next three nights of our honeymoon at Panorama Bungalows El Gouna, and unfortunately the difference was shocking. While our bungalow (Room 509) was beautiful, the overall experience was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've ever had. To start with the only positive, the bungalow itself was fantastic. It included a private jacuzzi, a swing, and direct access to the lagoon from our balcony. The room design was exactly what we expected and looked amazing. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below even basic hotel standards. When we checked in, the room looked tidy, but it was missing many essential amenities. There was no minibar setup (water, soft drinks, snacks, tea, or coffee), no dental kit, no shaving kit, and even the bathroom floor mat was missing. We politely informed housekeeping, and a staff member eventually arrived carrying all the missing items in a plastic bag and simply handed them to me, expecting me to place everything in the room myself. I honestly couldn't believe it. I called reception to ask whether arranging the room myself was really my responsibility. They apologized and later sent someone to stock the minibar, but this should never have happened in the first place. The following day, I placed the "Please Clean My Room" sign on the door before leaving. We returned more than five hours later to find the sign still hanging outside and the room untouched. Once again, I had to call reception and ask them to send someone. When we returned after dinner, the room had finally been cleaned—but there were no towels in the bathroom at all. So I had to call reception yet again. The staff member who arrived apologized and told us there simply weren't any clean towels available because they were still being washed. Hearing that a hotel couldn't provide clean towels was unbelievable. The food was another major disappointment. The quality was poor, there was very little variety, and almost everything lacked flavor. Honestly, I've had local street food with much better taste and quality. To make matters worse, every time I asked for a cold drink with ice, I was told there was no ice because the hotel was busy. No ice... in the middle of summer... at a resort? That's simply unacceptable. Hotels should have the capacity and planning to meet basic guest needs regardless of occupancy. During conversations with several employees, it became clear that many of them were frustrated themselves. They openly mentioned being understaffed and overwhelmed, and some even expressed dissatisfaction with the management. While I genuinely felt sorry for the employees, guests should never experience the consequences of poor management. Even the check-in process lacked professionalism. Nobody explained the hotel's facilities, restaurant hours, or general policies. We were simply handed an information sheet and told, "Sorry, we're busy right now. If you need anything, call reception." That was the entire introduction to the hotel. It's disappointing because the property itself has great potential, especially the bungalow design and location. However, beautiful rooms alone cannot compensate for poor service, weak housekeeping, below-average food, and unprofessional guest care. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel, and I certainly won't be returning. Management seriously needs to improve housekeeping, staff organization, food quality, and the overall guest experience if they want guests to leave with positive memories instead of frustration.

I had a wonderful stay at Panorama Bungalows Resort El Gouna. I booked the Royal Suite (#522), and everything exceeded my expectations. The suite was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The food was excellent with a great variety, and the service was truly outstanding. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the hotel owner, Mr. Shady Rozik, for his warm welcome and exceptional hospitality. His attention to guests and commitment to providing a great experience is truly appreciated. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting El Gouna.

Ga hier niet heen het zwembad is echt heel vies je zwemt in andermans huidsmeer de binnen randen van het zwembad is gewoon zwart zo vies. De tegels van het zwembad is kapot en eruit geen voegen stroomdraad in het water .alle zwembadstoelen zijn heel vies .bij het restaurant is alles vies en aan vervanging toe dit geld het zelfde als in de lobby banken en stoelen gewoon te zwart te vies om op te zitten. We zijn al deze tijd dat wij hier waren ook aan de diarree geweest. We hebben geen gids van corendon gezien .geen WiFi en naast onze kamer werd gewoon gebouwd.

Ein Recht familiäres Hotel zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber das wird aus meiner mit Service und Freundlichkeit ausgeglichen . Wir verbringen gerade unseren letzten Abend hier . Natürlich finden Nörgler immer etwas ,wer aber einfach seinen Urlaub zum Entschleunigen braucht ist hier richtig . Zimmer : gebucht war ein Doppelzimmer welches aber viel zu klein mit unserem 13 jährigen Sohn war , wurde vom Hotel in ein großzügiges Familienzimmer ( 2 getrennte Räume) ohne Aufpreis getauscht ! Lage : mitten in EL Gouna und alles mit dem Tuktuk (1,50-2,00€) schnell zu erreichen. Für junge Leute 5 min.Gehweg mehrere Club's und Restaurants. Das Zentrum ist immer belebt. Hotelstrand : Mit dem Shuttleboot in ca. 5 min erreicht (fährt stündlich) Strandabschnitt zum Meer nichts für Nörgler,sehr steinig jedoch auf der Lagunenseite sehr schön ,nicht überlaufen mit dem gleichen Service wie am Hotel ( wird gerade seit 3 Tagen saniert). Nun zum fehlendem Stern : Leider ist die Anlage in die Jahre gekommen und es ist Schade den Zustand des Hauptpools zu sehen , noch gefliest und an vielen Stellen defekt ,die vielen kleinen Pools sind jedoch vollkommen in Ordnung . Unser Fazit : wir würden das Hotel nach Poolsanierung (unser Sohn) wieder buchen. Wir haben von hier aus auch viel unternommen und alles lief zur vollsten Zufriedenheit aber dazu anderweitig mehr . Für uns absolut weiter empfehlenswert für nicht Nörgler .

One of the really enjoyable resorts in El Gouna. The resort is beautiful with a very nice atmosphere, and you can feel the effort put into the overall experience. The hospitality is very good, and the food quality is good as well. The staff were extremely respectful, friendly, and well-mannered — honestly one of the best parts of the stay, very polite and professional. For me, it was a different kind of experience, especially because of the many small details that make the place unique and give it a special character. Definitely a memorable stay. ❤️
